Samantha loved the way the waves hit her feet as she look at the endless ocean ahead.

As always, her surroundings was calm and soft.

She smiled and sighed softly.

"You really shouldn't get used of being out here."

Without looking away from the beautiful scenery, she spoke. "It's  beautiful, isn't it?"

Without warning he wrapped a thick blanket around her and she look at him as he went beside her with a smirk on his face.

"Atleast have a blanket with you." He said, his eyes twinkling with mischief like always.

Samantha gave him a surprise huff of breath before shaking her head and hugging the blanket closer to her.

She noticed that the blanket was his and she could could  faintly smell his cologne and the smell of just... Well, him.

Samantha just stared at him for a moment and thought of what they've been through together. He was always there for her when she needed him the most. She would never admit it, but it feels nice to be beisde him with a beautiful scenery around.

He was sweet and that made her heart spread warmth but it bloomed into something more.

Something that she couldn't stop.

And she can't help it.

Gabriel was perfect under the sun's light as he basked in it with a smile on his face. His eyes were closed and he stood tall and confident. Something that Sam couldn't do.

They're both in different worlds and he definitely do not belong in hers. He's this confident calming young man that has some mischief in him but also some maturity. It balances each other nicely.

Unlike her, she's dependent and broken. Scared of life and scared of being left alone.

She pretended to be fine even if it's not.

"If you keep staring, you might start to fall for me." Sam jumped a little when she found Gabriel looking back at her with a small and soft smirk on his perfect lips.

My love, my love.

Sam looked back at the ocean and thought of her feelings. Xendrix and Daniel said that she should try letting it out because it'll be too heavy to carry it.

But Samantha don't want Gabriel to think that he's taking care of a burden. She doesn't want him to go but she also don't want him to stay for her.

My fearless love.

They're in two different worlds where Gabriel is the famous guy in school. Everyone practically worships the floor that he steps on.

I will not say goodbye.

"Hey... "

Samantha looked back at him and she saw how his eyes softened when he met hers. His smile was heaven and the sound of waves made the surroundings more calming and beautiful.

Sea may rise, sky may fall.

"Did I lose you, love?" He asked, using the endearment that always made Samantha's heart ache with pain because she knows that that meant nothing to him.

My love will never die.

To him, she's just a kid, nothing but a child who he thinks that her brothers left for him to care. It doesn't mean anything because he can love somebody who's meant to be for him.

Go on, Go on...

Sam smiled and shook her head. "Still listening."

Go bravely on.

Samantha remembered Lydia and how she shouted at her that she's not worth  loving. She's not worth living this life and that she should just drop dead. Samantha had considered it so many times and everytime she does consider it, she would just cry and feel regret for having thoughts of killing herself.

Into the blackest night.

"What if I did fall for you?" Samantha whispered, her heart pounding with nervousness. She looked at Gabriel and he was staring at her.

His eyes were wide as he stared deeply into hers.

His smile faltered and his breath hitched.

Hold my breath.

Samantha gulped and feel like maybe Lydia was right.

'Till you return.

Gathering up a little courage, she smiled at him and continued. "Dan and Xen said that I—I shouldn't hold my feelings back... It makes the feeling of heaviness feel... Lighter... "

My love will never die.

"I..." She lets out a breath of nervousness and breathe in the calm and cold air. "I know that this wasn't the right time but I just wanted to let it out. I just wanted to let you know that... I fell.. For you."

My heart, my heart.

"Are you messing around with me,  Stones?" Gabriel breathlessly asked and she shook her head, fear was starting to build up around her and she doesn't know why she's so scared.

He'll reject her. She knows that.

She's waiting for that.

But why was she so scared of getting rejected?

Even before all of the chaos happened, she already fell for him. She... She's just admitting it now because she just wants him to know and she wants him to stay away from her and let him see how broken and stupid she is for falling for a guy who is way out of her world.

My fearless heart.

Silence flooded between them and she couldn't help but feel sadness. It hurts but this is how life should be. This is her life and she should've accepted it by now.

"Me too... "

And her whole world came to a stop.
She couldn't hear the waves clashing. She couldn't feel her cold feet getting buried under the wet sand. She couldn't hear the seagulls squawking and she couldn't feel the cold breeze.

Oh all the tears that I've cried.

Sam looked at him with her eyes wide and surprise.

He was smiling at her.

There were no mischief in it.

There were no smirk or anything that could indicate that he was kidding.

There was nothing more beautiful than the look in his eyes and the smile plastered on his face. It immediately melted Sam's heart and the feeling of numbness turned into slight hope.

Oh I may weep forevermore.

Sam's eyes started to water and she shake her head in denial.

"Y-You can't, Gab... "

"I can't say that I've fallen for you too?" Gabriel whispered with a smile.
He started to face her and her eyes widened in panic.

"Samantha..."

My love will never die.

The way he called out her name was desperate, it held so many emotions that Sam couldn't even decipher yet. Nervousness started to fall down upon her like a storm but she still faced him as well.

"Lil' Stones..." He called out again and with a breathless laugh. Without any warning, he said the words the Samantha never thought that she would be hearing.

"I love you... "

My love, my love...

My fearless love.

Samantha could just melt into a puddle if she wasn't so frozen. She forgot how to breathe and she thought of nothing but his words. His words that she thought that she could only hear in her dreams. She thought that she could only see him confessing in her dreams because she thought that those fantasies won't come true. That she doesn't deserve those happily ever afters.

I will not say goodbye.

"I love you... " Gabriel repeated again and he smiled at her, the softest smile that made her heart flutter. The sun was settled down on him, the cold breeze greeted them and she can see him under the beautiful scenery. It was as if he jumped out of a canvas.

The way he looked at her, it's warm and fuzzy. It was so... Unexpected.

Sea may rise.

"I love you for so many reasons, Sam. I love you that it hurts and I know that it's not the right time to say this, I know that I shouldn't even say this right now but I don't care. I don't care if it's not the right time because love is full of surprises and I want to be able to say that I love you, face to face. Right here and right now." He grab her hand, and she could feel his cold hands in her warm ones. The breeze played in the wind and her eyes was glassy and filled with tears.

Sky may fall.

Her heart was pounding deeply inside of her chest but it was filled with warmth and love. Something that she thought she would never feel again.

"My sweetest toughest cookie." He said with a chuckle and Sam couldn't help but give him a watery giggle as he stared at her as if she's the beautiful girl that he have met in his entire life.

"I can't promise to give you a love that you would want and dream of but I want to someone better for you and I want to be someone who you could rely on. I want to be the only person to hear you say the sweet words 'I love you.' I want to be the only person to hold your warm hand, I want to be by your side and wipe your tears away when you cry. I just want to be with you, Samantha... "

He looked at her with all the love and support that he could ever give her that it made Samantha's heart want to burst.

"Me too... " Sam whispered over the waves.

Gabriel smiled at her answer and carried her up in the air as they spin around in joy.

For the first time, she didn't think of Lydia or her family. She didn't think of what she did wrong and what her future will be without any of her brothers and parents.

She didn't think of that.

Gabriel pulled her closer to him and he rested his forehead against hers, his hot breath fanning over her skin and she look deep into his eyes, tears ran down of her cheeks and she smiled at him.

He smiled back at her and kissed her nose.

"I love you... "

"I love you too... "

My love will never die.
