The Last Move
The battle raged around them, an overwhelming clash of forces. Aragorn stood tall at the forefront, his sword gleaming in the dim light as the armies of men, elves, dwarves, and other allies surged forward against the orcish horde. His gaze flicked briefly to Gandalf, who was holding up Frodo's mithril shirt, a symbol of hope in this dark hour. Aragorn's heart tightened as he caught the glint of the shirt in the wizard's hands.
"For Frodo," Aragorn murmured, his voice soft but filled with unshakable resolve. He gripped his sword tighter, his eyes flicking over his companions.
With a single, powerful motion, Aragorn raised his sword and charged forward. His boots hit the earth with a decisive thud, and his sword was already in motion as he cleaved through the first line of orcs. The battle cries of Merry and Pippin rang out behind him, and though the Hobbits were small, their courage was no less than that of the bravest warriors.
Pippin, his sword raised high, shouted to Aragorn, "We're with you, Aragorn!"
Merry, running alongside Pippin, grinned, "We're not letting you have all the fun!"
The main force of the army followed, their feet thundering behind the Hobbits as they swarmed toward the oncoming enemy. The sound of metal clashing against metal, screams of orcs and warriors alike, filled the air.
As Aragorn collided with the orcs, his blade cutting a swath through the enemy, his sharp eyes flicked to the side. A strange sight met him—figures with towering metallic forms, moving with incredible speed and precision. A green portal opened wide, and out of it came a procession of alien robots—Autobots.
"Liv, what are those things?" Legolas called over the din of the battle, his sharp eyes tracking the metallic warriors who were now engaging the orcs.
Liv, her katana already raised to strike, paused for a moment. Her voice was steady, though a trace of exasperation lingered. "They're Autobots," she said, cutting down another orc with a swift slash of wind style.
"Are they friendly?" Gimli shouted, his axe already raised as he stood beside Legolas.
"They're on our side," Liv called, her voice reassuring, though a flicker of worry passed through her as she took in the scale of the battle.
"Skyvolt, we got here as soon as we could," said Optimus Prime, his voice resonating with authority. His massive form charged into the battle, swinging his sword with lethal precision, clearing a path through the orcs.
Liv grinned at the sight of her old allies. "It's Liv, not Skyvolt. Remember, I can't phase right now."
David, standing just behind Liv, smirked. "You really should tell them, Liv."
"What do you mean you can't phase?" Legolas asked, his brow furrowing as he exchanged a glance with Gimli.
Liv took a deep breath. "David and I, we're half Cybertronian. We have phasing abilities. We can turn into Cybertronian robots, but right now, we can't phase."
"Are you telling me that you're part robot?" Gimli asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
"I'm telling you that we're about to get some real backup," Liv answered with a grin as she deflected another attack.
The ground shook as the Dinobots arrived, stomping through the portal in a massive display of power. Grimlock, the largest of them, bellowed, "Me Grimlock love big fights!"
"Grimlock, focus!" Liv shouted, though she was more than a little amused at the Dinobot's enthusiasm. "No sacrifice, no victory!"
Meanwhile, the forces from the Leaf Village were holding their ground. Naruto, his eyes flashing with excitement, shouted, "Why do the bots always get to have all the fun? I mean, come on! Every time we team up with them, they take down the enemy before we can do anything!"
Sasuke, cutting down orcs with swift and deadly precision, shot him a sharp glance. "Because they're better than you, loser."
"Be nice, Sasuke, or do I need to get Kakashi to make your training harder?" Liv teased as she dispatched another orc with a gust of wind.
"You wouldn't," Sasuke retorted, though the look in his eyes suggested that he wasn't entirely sure.
"Oh, I would," Liv grinned, her tone playful. "He's my teacher, remember?"
Behind them, the Dinobots were wreaking havoc, their roars and metallic thrashing shaking the battlefield. Slag crushed orcs underfoot, while Swoop dove from above, swooping down to scatter enemies with his powerful wings. Grimlock stomped his way through the orcs, roaring as his sword cleaved through their ranks.
"Did you miss me, love?" A voice crackled through the chaos, and Liv froze. Knockout, her ex-boyfriend and former Decepticon, was suddenly in front of her, his smirk unmistakable.
"Knockout, we broke up a long time ago," Liv said coolly, refusing to meet his gaze.
"Is there something going on between you and the red robot?" Legolas asked, raising an eyebrow as he watched the exchange between his sister and the Decepticon-turned-Autobot.
"Do you mean Knockout?" Liv replied, rolling her eyes. "Yes, unfortunately, he's my ex."
"You mean you had another boyfriend before David?" Legolas asked, clearly startled.
"Yes, and he was a mess," Liv said, her voice laced with annoyance as she blocked a strike from an orc. "He cheated on me. That's why I broke up with him."
Legolas' eyes narrowed with a protective glint. "Is he Lily's real father?"
Liv's expression shifted, her surprise evident. "Oh my god, Legolas, I can't believe you would ask that! Lily was born a year after I broke up with him. So no, Knockout is not Lily's father."
Legolas' grip on his sword tightened, his gaze sharpening with fury. "I'm going to kill him."
"Please do," Liv said with a half-smile, though her tone was filled with disdain for her ex.
Knockout chuckled darkly. "What are you protecting her for, pointy ears?"
"Because she's my little sister," Legolas growled, stepping toward Knockout. "And you're going to pay for breaking her heart."
Meanwhile, the Autobots were relentless, their weapons blasting orcs into submission. Ironhide blasted an orc into the air, his weapon roaring with each shot. Bumblebee, ever the agile fighter, ducked and weaved, taking down enemies with precision strikes.
Jazz, his smooth moves keeping him light on his feet, slashed through the enemies with style. "Not today, ugly!" he shouted as he cut down another orc.
Behind them, Ratchet, his medical expertise on full display, provided support, healing wounded allies as he went.
The fight surged on, and despite the chaos around them, the allies stood firm, each one knowing that victory required more than strength—it required unity, courage, and resolve.
