It was couple minutes before class started and you were sitting in the middle row. You saw your long term crush walk in, Lisa Turtle. She sat right behind and you were also so scared to ask her out, until now.

You gulped before glancing at the clock and it read 3 minutes before class. You turned around in your seat and tapped her desk.

"Hey, Lisa." You smiled, once she made eye contact.

"Hi, y/n." She replied. Her knowing your name just made you melt. But according to the clock, you now only had 2 minutes, so you had to act fast.

"Um, i was wondering if you wanted to see a movie on Friday? I mean if your free." You rambled a bit.

She clicked her nails on the desk and propped her hand under her chin, resting her head in her hand. The bell was just about to ring when she responded with, "Maybe."

It wasn't a direct answer, but it gave you a clue that you had a chance. So you turned back around with a smile on your face.
