Hey my loves! Surprise! Surprise! 😲
Here's another chapter from the story😇. Also, tell me how are you liking it so far? Is Eshaanvi really that mean🤔? Or Hardik has his faults too😜?

The Next Day
'Uhh! That was uncalled for Esh! You shouldn't have hit him at least.' Kavya said after I narrated the whole incident from last night to her.
'I had no other choice, Kavya! You could have tried seeing the room. He was playing a DVD of a certain movie alongside playing the iPod. And the way he ignored me when I called and cracked that nasty joke...I..I just lost my cool.' I said trying to calm down my restlessness.
Kavya steered the wheel of her Nano and gave me a pitiful look. 'Sorry Esh! The other day I didn't understand that things were so serious.' She said. 'Btw, what did you tell your brother after that and how did he react?'
I shook my head. 'Rahul knows me all too well, Kavya. Perhaps, he understood everything but he didn't say a word. All he did was baby-console me all the time, even feed me and kissed my forehead to sleep.' I said feeling guilty over how much I must have embarrassed Rahul.
'Aww! That's so cute! I would love to see your interaction with your brother with my own eyes, you know and hey! You remember getting me to meet Hardik and Rahul, right?' She said childishly.
I scoffed. 'Yeah...I can try that next week, provided, nothing breaks out between me and Hardik in the next seven days.' I sighed.
Kavya sighed. 'Don't worry Esh...things are going to be fine. I'll make sure..' she said with a smile.
'Now, there we are...our destination mall.' Kavya declared as she rode towards the parking of the mall.
'There you go...Infinity mall!' Kavya said pointing to the structure before us.
'...and today, my friend we are going to get the best of the best for you..let's go.' She said dragging me by by wrist.
'Easy Kavya!' I chuckled.

2 hours later
'So...you've always been into ethnic?' Kavya asked as I selected my fourth kurti.
'Uh..not actually. I don't categorize them into ethnic or western, you know. For me, it's just about my comfort and yes, some times, my environment. Like, I cannot just wear a pair shorts and get into the hospital with the doctor's coat, right?' I explained. 'Also, I prefer a mix. Like, kurtis over jeans or Tank tops over salwar pants. Depends on my mood though..' I concluded with a chuckle.
'Hm...got it. But, hey! You're into budget clothing. Didn't expect that from the sister of KL Rahul!' Kavya said as we walked to the billing counter.
I scoffed. 'My love, I'm the sister of KL Rahul, not Rahul himself and I do things depending on my independent sphere.' I said getting the chosen cloths to the counter.
'3680 rupees ma'am.' The guy at the other side said. I nodded.
'Damn! I must say you're boyfriend is going to be really lucky with his savings.' Kavya giggled as I took out my card smiling at her.
'By the way, even I don't go for expensive items, you know. I only have one dress above 5000 and that too was gifted by my ex-boyfriend Rajesh.' She kept on saying as I finished the payment and got my stuffs handed in a bag.
'Cool! This Rajesh guy..must've loved you so much to gift you this?' I enquired teasingly.
Kavya sighed. 'That's what I thought as well but he was someone who wanted me as a mere arm candy, you know. He was the editor of a reputed journal and he loved taking me out in those lavish parties, showing me off as his girlfriend who is interested in setting up a publishing company while the truth was I never read a whole book in my entire life..' Kavya chuckled.
I could easily find the sadness hidden in that laugh. 'I'm sorry to get into that conversation. I feel truth and only truth should be the foundation of any relationship. And this one was going nowhere with that lie. It's really good that you left him.' I said as we came down through the accelerator.
But then, Kavya gave me a confused look. 'Wait! Who told you I left him?' She said.
I frowned in confusion. 'Um..didn't you tell he was an ex?' I asked trying to recall if I misunderstood.
Kavya nodded and then gave me a puppy dog look. 'Yes. He is but I never left him. One fine day, he himself called me and dumped me for good after finding the girl of his choice.' She said pouting.
My jaw hung. 'What? Such a...'
Kavya chuckled. 'No worry Esh.. I'm glad I didn't have to use my brain to dump him myself. Besides, my recent one is way better..'
'Owh! Recent one, huh? I never heard of that before.' I teased.
Kavya blushed. 'His name is Avinash Singh. He is the CMO of Kings Eleven Punjab and also holds 11% of its share.' She informed.
'Kings Eleven! That's my brother's team! Wow! Didn't expect you to date someone from that world!' I said surprised as we walked to the parking.
'Neither did I and I can't wait to see him either.' She exclaimed.
I paused and frowned. 'See him?'
'Mhm...we connected on Facebook four months ago and he seemed so matured and genuine! He had his tours to Dubai and Singapore and had a hectic schedule. Besides, he's from Punjab. So, it wasn't quite easy to meet. But, guess what! Two weeks from now..there's gonna be a pre-tournament ceremony at the Taj and Abinash is going to be there too.' She said giggling like a school girl. 'I can't wait to see him.'
I smiled at her childish expressions.
'By the way, don't you have a boyfriend? I mean, it's clear that you don't but aren't you even interested in anyone? Like a friend from past or something?' Kavya asked getting inside her Nano.
I chuckled taking the passenger seat. 'Nope. Never. They say you should fall in love with only those who you imagine crying at your grave. And, when I think of this...it's only my family that comes into my mind.' I stated.
To be honest, I respect the thin line between falling in love and getting into a relationship and I only believe in the former.
'Oh my god! This girl is from another world!' Kavya sighed slapping her head.
I chuckled. 'Now, let's go. If you ever try to know about my love life, you'll only end up getting bored.'
'I agree.' Kavya said as she started the car.
^^^^^^
To be honest, the day went really good. It was refreshing. Neither too hectic like the hospital life, nor too idle like the home life. It was so relaxing. Kavya stopped the car at places and made me taste the local flavors of vada pav, paani puri and malai, all of which were awesome.
I looked at the car window smiling at the little kids playing on the road. I could see beautiful mangroves, the ladies wearing their sarees in typical Marathi ways, the men chit-chatting about the political scenario and of course, the big banners of Mumbai Indians hanging around.
I could see Rohit, Pollard and Ugh! Not here too...
I tried to look away and then something caught my eyes.
'Kavya! What's that?' I asked pointing to the mountainous structure towering the poster even from far.
'Which one?' Kavya looked across. 'Oh! That's the Gilbert Hill, column of black basalt rock. You know it's believe to be formed out of a molten lava during the Mesozoic Era about 66 million years ago. I don't have concrete information about this but I guess, that's what I heard from my elders.' She said.
'Uh! Can we go there?' I asked enchanted.
'Yes, it's a national park in some way and people also visits the Gaodevi and Durgamata temples atop the hill . But, why are you asking that?' She asked and I smirked raising my brows.
Kavya's eyes widened. 'You got to be kidding me!'
^^^^^^^
'Let's just stop here, Esh. I prefer size zero but not size -1.' Kavya said.
I chuckled climbing up. 'Come on! I like this place? Doesn't it feel amazing? Tracking plus enjoying the view plus visiting the temples...' I said smiling.
'And there were other ways to reach there too!' Kavya said holding her waist.
'Where's the fun in that?' I asked batting my eyelashes at her.
^^^^^
'Wow! How did you know we would get the best view of the city from here?' Kavya asked as we climbed down at one of the steps eastward after visiting the temple.
Amidst the steep slopes of the hill, this place was the only one with a thick slab . Me and Kavya set on the step hanging our legs from almost 50 ft up the ground level.
'Don't know. It was just my instinct.' I shrugged not believing myself.
My eyes fixated on the sunset amidst the ocean waves, the buzzing crowds of the city, the skyscrapers, the greenaries. It was like heaven visited in a lifetime.
I almost wished to stay in here my whole life, watch the city rise and sleep, listen to the train whistles, listen to the birds chirp as they fly over me.
'Told you, it was worth it?' I asked Kavya.
She smiled. 'Only if it meant, we came by a helecopter..' she sighed.
I slapped her arm lightly. 'You will never understand. This is the love I was talking about. Just an instant enotion. No trial. No error.' I explained.
'Good luck to your love story, then.' She said sarcastically.
I chuckled. 'A true lover can never ignore the enigma of this place.' I said.
Kavya sighed. 'And the false lovers like me gets really tired and hungry while climbing up and down the hill. So, can we just find a restaurant now?' She asked.
I chuckled. 'Sure, my love.' I said taking another last glance at the view before my eyes.
It was worth it.
