Iris awoke with a sharp pain humming through her consciousness.  A buzzing sound seemingly echoing around her, confusing her as to where she was. Slight vibrations causing the cold surface she laid upon to move in trending spirits.

Where am I? She wondered as she glanced around, trying to recognize any familiar surroundings. But it seemed the more she observed, the more confused she became.

And that's when everything came back to her. The sudden tiredness she'd felt, the unknown voice, the arms that'd carried her off. She remembered.

But now here she was stretched out on a flat medal table, nothing and no one else present in the room. Iris sat up carefully as once again a pulse of pain shot through her head. As Iris glanced around the room she realized something...

There was no door. How was this even possible? There had to be an opening somewhere.

Getting to her feet and ignoring the sudden sickness she felt, Iris began banging on the walls. "Let me out! Let me out of here!!" She cried out in anger as she circled the room several times trying to find a way out.

Iris lost track of time as she continued to try and find a way out. By the time she'd stopped banging against the walls, her fist were bleeding from her frantic search for an exit, her arms tired from keeping a steady beating pace, her legs quivering from walking in circles around the squared room.

And as much as Iris didn't want to admit it... There seemed to be no way out of this prison box. At least not until whoever the person was that'd taken her, came for her.

She just needed to hold it together until then. 'Easier said than done,' Iris realized as everything came raining in on her.

Someone had taken her and she had no idea who. Her parents probably hadn't even noticed she was gone. How long had she even been gone?

Fear of the unknown and pain in her head had Iris falling to her knees. Tears streaming down her face as she felt her world crumbling around her. "I just want to go home," she whispered. "Please." But she knew she wouldn't get an answer. No one was around to hear.

She was all alone.

Like always.

Michael pinched the bridge of his nose as anger flooded his being. A full day had passed and he hadn't heard from Elias again. Iris was stuck with that monster, while both he and Jenny sat outside of the eighteenth house of a kid with the last name Havok.

Who knew there were so many people with the last name Havok in this city?

"Are you sure we shouldn't split up? We could find him quicker." Jenny tried offering support as she watched Michael run his hand through his richly purple hair.

"No. There's too much of a chance Elias will come for you so you have to stay close to me, Jenny. We've been over this already." Michael said sitting back in the passenger seat of the car, trying to get as comfortable as he could with his seven foot frame.

"I'm not trying to be difficult Michael but it's just..." Jenny paused as she looked into her husband's other worldly face, tears in her eyes, "He took Iris with us both there, so what will it matter if I'm around you or not? If he really wanted to hurt me, Michael you being there will make no difference. We have to find this boy before it is too late for Iris, it's already been a day. How do we know if he hasn't done something to her already?"

Jenny's words hurt Michael as they registered in his head. She didn't think he could keep her safe because of his failure to keep Iris safe. A frown marred his face as he stared at his wife, his large palm reaching out to caress her cheek, "I will always protect you Jenny, I'm sorry I couldn't protect Iris. But once we get her back, I will never allow anything to happen to either of you again. I promise you," Michael said softly before turning back towards the window. Hiding the pain he felt at her not trusting that he'd keep her safe.

A sudden pulse in his blood had him looking with interest at a blue pickup truck that stopped in front of the house they were keeping an eye on.

"Is that him?!" Jenny questioned as a brown haired boy stepped from the truck, a book bag hung carelessly from his shoulder, keys in hand as he approached the front yard of his house.

"Yes." Michael knew just from looking at the boy that he was his nephew. Besides the obvious features of his brother, Michael could feel it in his blood. Without even realizing it Michael was out of the car and walking towards the boy with long powerful steps.

"Michael, wait! Crap-" Jenny murmured as she realized he wasn't slowing down. She just prayed no one saw his seven foot tall, purpled frame strolling through the neighborhood.

It was only when Michael made it inside of the front gate, allowing it to slam shut, did Eric turn around. His keys falling to the hardwood floor of his porch as he took in the being standing surprisingly close to him. Neither knowing what to say as they stared at each other. Michael taking in his nephew features and realizing how much he looked like his father, while Eric was trying to figure out where his uncle had been all this time.

"I looked for you everywhere, where the hell have you been?" Eric questioned in anger.

"What do you mean? I've always been here." Michael answered confused as well.

"No. My father... Our ship was board by a Rogue alien crew. We tried to fight them off but no matter what we did they kept taking out our crew. Right before the ship got taken over, he sent me in the last pod, down to earth. He gave me a picture of you, told me to look for you, he told me you would know what to do. I searched for months but I couldn't find you. So I just, I've been living here, waiting and now you show up.." Eric felt anger as he looked at his uncle. He knew his father was dead, and he couldn't help but blame the being before him.

"As much as I would love to have this heart to heart with you, I-We have a more important things to talk about." Michael said ignoring the angered look his nephew was giving him. They could have this discussion at another time.

"And what would that be Uncle?" Eric sneered.

"Iris."

6 days later...

Two pairs of seemingly purplish eyes watched Iris through the one-sided walls of the Prisum, one in amusement and one in slight worry.

The Prisum was basically a prison. It was something Elias had gotten in a galaxy trade a week before coming to Earth, not for this reason but now that he thought about it he knew it was a good thing he'd placed Iris inside.

Because of the thickened walls of the Prisum, no one could call out to her consciousness like he knew they would be trying to do. And as long as she was inside, he could put his plans into play without a care. The portable prison was nearly impossible to break out or into so he didn't have to worry about Michael getting to Iris. Shaped like a true box, the only way inside of the Prisum was to lift the top frame up and away from the bottom.

"How long will we keep her inside the Prisum?" The deepened voice of one of Elias closest men spoke up. His purple eyes stayed glued to the young girl huddled in the corner, as she rocked back and forth.

She was losing it.

Everyday she would do the same thing, walk around the room analyzing the walls, sit in the corner with her knees to her chest, humming and talking to herself. As time continued to pass though, she was losing hope of ever being found, her constant tears were evidence to that.

And the stranger noticed.

Annoyed at the voice, Elias allowed his eyes to shift from Iris to the gentleman with similar features to his own. For six days now, Elias had been answering all of his questions as if he was what the earthlings called 'google,' and he was sick of it.

"She will stay inside the Prisum until I deem it fit for her to leave! What business is it of yours KyRue?!" Elias sneered at the young man as they both watched Iris curl into a ball on the floor, hopelessly.

Pathetic.

Elias knew he would have a lot of work to do if he wanted to include Iris in his plans. She couldn't be weak for what he had in store for her.

"She hasn't eaten or had anything to drink in days. She is my sister! I can't just leave her to die!" KyRue said annoyed as he looked at the man who'd fathered him. Once upon a time he thought this man was a hero, but now as Elias stood before him in all of his wicked glory, KyRue knew how much of a fool he'd been. Elias was the furthest thing from a hero, he was a villain. And KyRue was too late in figuring it out.

He left behind the easy life he'd had on his home planet and even his mother, just because he believed his father had been misjudged. KyRue had took it upon himself to free his father from prison and though it hadn't been easy, he still accomplished it. KyRue had developed the ability to multiply himself and it was this ability that aided the both of them in many of the schemes they'd done and even traveling. Not that KyRue was proud of it.

He'd simply done the things he had to get his fathers approval. But look at where 'gaining his approval' had landed him. Never would he have imagined his life to be like this... killing, stealing, and kidnapping.

"Half sister! And believe me she will not die, she's already proven that by lasting this long. Six whole days without any source of substance and yet she still lives."

"That's not an accomplishment when she has no reason to be starved father! As you've said before, she's more human than-"

"-She's more human because it's all she's ever known! All they've allowed her to know! She has greatness inside of her, I can sense it. Can't you? By exposing her to extreme circumstances, the part of her that is more like us will awaken with a strong will."

"You're making no sense! And what of the child that lies within her tummy? Without substance it will not survive! Would you allow that to happen to her? Allow her child to die?"

The observation room was silent as KyRue's words bounced off the walls. Elias was beginning to rethink ever allowing the foolish boy onto the ship...

But the whole reason he even had the ship was because of KyRue. Elias simply couldn't afford to lose KyRue at this point in the game. Even though it was clearly only three beings on the ship (KyRue, Iris, and Elias), it ran effectively without any complications because KyRue multiplied himself to run the ship. Without him, the ship would crash so in simple words, Elias needed him.

"No need for you to get so hurt over it, everything I am doing is for her own protection KyRue-"

"How is you locking her up inside of the Prisum for her own protection? Why kidnap her in the first place? You told me that you wanted to steal the Divindur and then things would go back to how they were before. Look around you father," KyRue raised his arms up in a gesture towards the ship, "We have the Divindur, the one thing you said you wanted most. I got it for you, did I not? So please tell me, what are we still doing here, orbiting around this.. this Eaarth planet? Why take her?" KyRue was beyond confused behind his father's methods and the more he tried to understand the more he started to see his father was NOT who he thought he was.

"You will see in dear time, my boy. And when it's all over, you will be the one thanking me. Just stick me, kid." As Elias spoke a cruel smile graced his lips, his left hand gripping on the back of KyRue's head to bring him closer. A sign of affection. "And no more questions." He said smacking KyRue's cheek hard as he walked away.
