Premise - the story starts after Preeta proves Karan innocent in Monisha's case and all travel to Lonavla. Karan hits Prithvi and he leaves in for of anger.

Preeta is waiting outside the farmhouse for driver, Karan offers her the drive as there are no drivers and weather is also not good. Both of them leave in search of Prithvi. Preeta is angry on Karan and doesn't say a single word on the way. Karan asks what's your problem, why are you sitting so annoyed? Prithvi isn't a child who will get lost in Lonavla hills. Preeta gets irritated and accuse Karan that he intentionally hit Prithvi ji. But suddenly the car stops and its raining heavily outside. Karan asks Preeta to stay in and goes out to check the car. He tries everything but the car doesn't start. Atlast tired both of them start walking in the rain and found a house and took shelter for the night.

Preeta is little sceptical looking at the old barren house and calls Karan. " Karan..I don't think this place is safe." She doesn't get any response and calls for him again. Preeta looks around for Karan but doesn't find him anywhere. She keeps yelling his name and getting frustrated and annoyed. Karan hidden behind a crate is amused to see Preeta getting frustrated and thinks to annoy her further.

"Karan stop this childish games and come out. We should get out of here, Prithvi Ji and our families must be worried for us."

Listening Prithvi's name Karan got angry and decides that whatever happens he wouldn't come out easily. This also gave him idea to irritate Preeta further. He started walking around to find ways to scare Preeta. He saw a door and pushed it open, the door squeaked. Preeta got alarmed listening the squeaking sounds.

Preeta decides to search Karan quitely. She goes towards the door and checks around the area but doesn't find Karan over there. Karan rolls a bottle on floor, Preeta steps on it, being scared she screams loudly and trips on stack of hay kept on side.

"Karan, please let's leave from here. this place is giving me creeps."

"Karan thinks - the fun has just begun babydoll"

Karan sneaks from ground floor and goes to the first floor of the abandoned house. He collects few harmless stuffs and starts throwing them in Preeta's direction. Preeta trying to save herself from objects falls on the ground and swears " I'm not going to spare you now."

Preeta goes upstairs and starts searching for Karan. She shouts Karan's name in frustration and anger while Karan is enjoying this charade with a smile.

"Karan come out right now otherwise I'll never talk to you. I'll beat you with your own bat and leave you in bruises. None of your girlfriends will be able to identify you."

Karan was shocked seeing this side of his babydoll. He thinks "This violent and hot Preeta is better than arrogant all time fighting Preeta. Where has she been hiding all this time. Wait a minute, did I just say hot Preeta!!"

Meanwhile Preeta is searching for Karan in all corners of the floor. She finds a closet and thinks Karan is hiding there. She opens and shouts "Found you!!". But Preeta finds a fake skeleton, dismayed she closed the closet and shouts. "Karan this hide and seek had been fun but now finish it and come out." She doesn't receive any response and get paranoid thinking if Karan left her alone here in this haunted house.

Tired of the game Preeta goes on ground floor. Unknown to her Karan was following her dressed in black costume and a ghost mask. Preeta feels someone is following her, she turns but by then Karan hides behind a pillar. "Where is he?" Looking around Preeta comes face to face with Karan and screams "Bhoot..bhoot..bhoot" and starts running. Karan follows behind Preeta and take out a knife and says in mumbled voice "How dare you enter my humble abode? It has always been only me from past 40 years." Karan goes behind Preeta and pretends to stab her who is screaming out of fear and crying closing her face with palms.

Karan begins to laugh hysterically and sit on the floor due to which Preeta got confused.

Karan removes the mask which shocks Preeta and kept on laughing hitting the floor with hands. "You should have looked yourself in mirror (still laughing hard) God it was so much fun!!"

Preeta was livid and stormed out of the area. Karan ran behind her to stop and seeing her tears Karan got worried. " Hey, I'm so sorry. I was just having fun. Why are you crying? You want to scare me too you can. But please stop crying." Saying this Karan hugs Preeta tightly and wipes her tears.

" Are you Ok?" Karan looks into Preeta's teary eyes and both got lost in each other. Preeta comes out of trance and says "You scared the shit out of me and now asking me if I'm ok.. of course I'm not ok. I'm stuck in this haunted house, shivering due to these wet clothes, I'm hungry and you are playing a prank on me. I don't know who got hit by ball you or Prithvi ji."

"Obviously goat face, I was trying to break his nose but didn't hit the ball hard enough."

"Are you out of your kind Karan why would you hit him on his face. He is such an innocent man, didn't even utter a word against you and still you are complaining that you didn' hit him hard enough."

"Innocent my foot, he is two faced slimy person who is fooling everyone. Only I can see his dirty face and no one believes me."

"Excuse me, Prithvi ji is a gentleman."

"You got to be kidding me!! He called it upon himself by challenging me for cricket match. I knocked some sense into him, he should know what to expect in return on challenging star cricketer The Karan Luthra."

Preeta ignores Karan's rants and tries to find something to light the fire. She stacks up the hay and wood and light fire using stones and starts drying herself. Karan is impressed and sits beside her.

"We should rest now hopefully weather will be good in the morning and Rishabh will definitely send a car to check for me."

Preeta moves to a corner and lay down on the hay scattered there. Karan too comes and lies down beside her. Preeta senses some movement and astonished to see Karan beside her.

"What are you doing here?"

"Resting, what else would I do?"

"But why here beside me? Go to other corner and rest there."

"Its comfortable here on the hay. The other places are hard and I can't risk my shoulder, the hard floor can give me cramps."

"Fine, stay on your end and sleep."

Preeta turns to other side and tries to sleep, likewise Karan too tries to sleep. Preeta was still shivering, Karan removes his jacket and covers Preeta. She sleeps soundly after that. Karan in his sleep turns and keeps his arm on Preeta, but Preeta too turns at the same time and lands on Karan's chest. Karan hugs Preeta and hold her tightly. He gets awake due to some unknown feelings and seeing Preeta so close to him he let go off Preeta and mubles a quick sorry.

Karan could see sadness in Preeta's eyes. He gets confused thinking. "Did she didn't like when I moved away. Why she looked sad on parting?" Karan tries to gauge her thoughts and removes the hair falling on Preeta's face which was disturbing his view. They have an eyelock both can feel each other's breathing. Karan reduces the gap between them and starts leaning towards Preeta and keeps his palm on her cheeks. Preeta turns beetroot and lowers her eyes, her heart is racing due to this sudden closeness. Karan caress Preeta's lips and Preeta closes her eyes. Taking that as a signal Karan kisses Preeta, they have a gentle and soft kiss closing their eyes and enjoying the feel of their first kiss. Karan pulls Preeta more into him and deepening the kiss. Preeta starts feeling butterflies in her stomach and snaps out of the moment saying "this is wrong I'm engaged..We shouldn't do this" Karan too comes out of trance and says sorry and moves little away from Preeta.

I know I'm leaving at cliff hanger. but I wish to know if this is something worth continuing.
I was kind of frustrated after seeing same storyline after lockdown so thought of new dimension.
