Nick's P.O.V

I woke up in a hospital, with a weird taste in my mouth. "Strange, I remember going savage, but this taste seems... familiar... in a... nice way" I looked around, only to be greeted by nothing except for the bed and a bowl of oatmeal in the corner of the room.

After stretching and standing, a white tiger entered the room, who I assumed to be a doctor.
"Nick Wilde?"
"Yep. You are..." I glanced at his name tag,"...Dr. Bengal?"
"Yes sir"
"Woah, why so formal?" I chuckled.
"Anyways," he said, ignoring my question, "a bunny came in earlier and-"
My ears perked up at the word 'bunny' "Wait, what was her name?"
"Judy Hopps"
My tail wagged slightly at the mention of my mate.
"When? Is she okay?" I asked frantically.
"Umm, she came in about 7 hours ago, when you still savage..." "That dumb bunny" "...and she is fine."
I sighed in relief. "Why did you let her in?"
"We tried saying it was too dangerous, but she was adamant. It was strange, when I walked back in, you were protecting her..." he trailed off.
"What time is it?"
He looked at his watch. "It's almost one o'clock at night. Would you like for me to call Ms. Hopps... when?"
"Jeez, one o'clock at night?" I thought.
"As soon as possible. And, could you move me to a normal room? Being here is kinda uncomfortable."
"Of course Mr Wilde."
I waved my paw. "Just call me Nick"

After walking through the hospital with a shock collar around my neck, after refusing to put on the muzzle, I was at my new room on the 2nd floor. The nurses recommended for me to keep the collar on, but I tore it off the moment they left.

When I sat down on the bed, yet another doctor came in, except this time, a rabbit.
"What do you need?" I asked, annoyed.
"You can go in the morning, we just need you to relax."
I laid back on the bed, getting comfortable. The doctor stood there, looking uncomfortable.
"Yes?" I ask, yawning.
"I... have a, personal question, Mister Wilde."
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Are you mates with Judy Hopps?"
I froze. "I can't lie to him..."
"Y-yes... I am."
He nodded his head, looking confused but left.
"Finally. Time for some rest"
I decided to ignore it and fall asleep.

The Next Day

The very next morning I awoke with Judy laying next to me. I looked down at her, smiling, until I noticed bite marks on her neck.
I decided to try something. I looked at the door, making sure nobody would walk in and quickly licked Judy's neck. "This taste... did I do this?"

She stirred and her ears landed on my face. I grinned and let one of her ears land in my mouth and lightly nibbled it. Big mistake.
She immediatly jumped up, on top of me. I wouldn't have hurt so much if it was just a little hop. No, she jumped a good foot into the air and landed on top of me with a thud.

"Oof" I grunted.
"Oh my gosh Nick! I'm so sorry!"
I smirked, "it's fine Carrots, I deserved it."

I stood up beckoning her to follow me through the hospital. Afterwards, we walked down the street, paw in paw, earning disgusted and confused looks from prey and predator alike.

Judy's P.O.V

One goat was unlucky enough to have the courage to walk up to us and say, "Can you please stop... this?" He motioned to us.
I just looked at him, annoyed, but I heard, no, felt Nick growl in frustration as he gripped my paw tighter.
"What's wrong with us?" Nick said, scowling.
"It's unnatural. If you are to make us believe that you aren't making this poor bunny be with you, a fox. Then you must be stupid"
I spoke up, "He's not making me do anything, for your information. We are mates."
He just looked at us disgusted again and pointed an accusing hoof at Nick.
"You're an untrustworthy, stupid, fox. Why would a bunny want to be with you?"
"Leave us alone! We haven't done anything wrong!" I said.
"Stay out of this, bunny."
"Don't talk to her like that!" Nick was furious.
"Why? What are you gonna do?" He shoved Nick back and punched him in the stomach.
"Don't do anything stupid Nick."
Nick bared his teeth and threw a punch. It connected, a satisfying grunt coming from the goat as he fell to the ground.
I smiled, pulling out my badge.
"You are under arrest for assaulting a police officer..."
I read him his rights and called in a cruiser.

Now me and Nick continued to my apartment, since his is a little smaller only God knows how messy it is there.
When we reached my apartment, I unlocked the door, pulling Nick inside, closing the door with my foot, and grinned as I pulled him over to my bedroom.

"I love you Nicholas" I said as I pulled him onto the bed.
"I love you too Judith" he grinned as they started kissing passionately.

No need to say what happened next, just know it was heaven for both Nick and Judy.
