Judy's P.O.V

I shot him with my tranquilizer dart just to incapacitate him long enough for back up to arrive. They got here and put the wolf into custody. They then sent an ambulance to pick up Nick. I wanted to stay with him, but they said it was too dangerous and drove off.

I ignored Chief Bogo's questioning me about the scratched up car and signs, and drove off to the hospital.

The moment I walked in, a lot of the predators there turned their head to Nick's scent on me. I ran up to the clerk and demanded to see Nick.
"Sorry, ma'am, but it's still unsafe. You'll need to wait."
"It's fine! I know what I'm doing!" I said angrily.
"Miss, he his still affected by the serum. He will hurt you."
I started to tear up. "I don't care! Let me see him!" I growled.
She looked a little frightened at my determination. "Forth floor up, eighth door to your right."
"Thank you!" I said as I took off running. I was determined to see my Nick.

When I reached the fourth floor, it looked like the cells in the Night Howlers' building. My ears perked up as I heard someone talking.
"We need to wake him up and put him through some tests."
"But what about Judy? The name he keeps mumbling to himself?" Said someone else.
"Judy Hopps? We'll call her and ask her to come down."
I stood and walked over to them.
"No need." I said.

They looked at me in surprise, but nodded. One of them, Dr. Bengal, a white tiger, brought me over to a larger room with Nick in the middle, asleep and strapped to the bed. He opened the door and we stepped through. Dr. Trudy, a rabbit, stuck a needle into Nick's arm, making him stir slightly.

They backed up, quickly releasing the straps on Nick. "I hope you know what you're doing" Docter Bengal stated. The door shut and I was alone with him. I heard him growl, as he slowly stood, eyeing me. He pounced on me, only, to my surprise, to not attack me. He looked at me curiously. He got closer, sniffing me, only to smell his mark. He looked really confused, because his prey was marked as his mate.

All the savagery went from his eyes as he started licking and lightly biting my neck, his tail wagging happily. My face turned a deep red as he kept up with his love bites, and I moaned quietly, but not quietly enough. The Dr. Bengal heard me and walked in, but his visit was cut short by Nick, who jumped in front of me, growling menacingly. He looked stupified, but he calmly said, "Miss Hopps? Visiting hours are over..."
I sighed, standing up, face and ears as red as a tomato. I started walking, but the pitter patter of paws made turn around to Nick. He sat, quietly, but whined every step I took away from him. I hopped back and hugged him, whispering, "I'll be back tomorrow" before pulling away.
"Boy, do I have a story for Nick." I thought, giggling.

Dr. Trudy pulled me aside the moment I walked out and started questioning what happened.
"W-well, me and Nick are... mates... and I believe the reason why he didn't at- attack me is because he... he marked me... this morning..." I said, stuttering.
"A fox and a bunny? How and why is this possible?"
I didn't answer, I just stood there, my face and ears red, and my neck still wet from Nick's slobber.
She sighed, "I really don't care right now, we just need to cure him." Dr. Trudy walked away, talking with Dr. Bengal.

I walked back out of the hospital only to be greeted by Chief Bogo. If you call being yelled at for insubordination being greeted by someone. I just looked at him with Nick's half lidded look. "Never let them see that they're getting to you" I purposely put my hand to my neck to cover Nick's love bites.

"Do you even know what you were doing?"
"Yes" I answered calmly.
"You realize that visit could've cost you your life?"
"Yes"
He sighed. "You and Nick have the week off." He walked away without saying another word.
