Nick's P.O.V

I woke up to something moving beside me. I opened one of my eyes and squinted as the morning sun light crept onto my face, effectively blinding me.

I moved my muzzle so the sun wouldn't blind me, but I was stopped by a pair of small fuzzy paws on my cheeks and a set soft lips on mine. I didn't even have to know who's they were.

When she pulled away, I smiled, my tail slightly wagging. "Morning, Carrots."
Judy giggled. "You know, you look so cute when you sleep."
"Not as cute as you." I countered, smirking.
I could practically feel her rolling her eyes, "Whatever, just, get up, foxy. We've got a doctor's appointment today."

I sat up, rubbing my eyes.
"What about work? You think Bogo wouldn't mind if I didn't come in today?"
She shook her head. "No... just remember to call it in. Remember what happened last time."

I shivered, recalling what happened.
It was a particularly lazy morning, and I woke up, deciding to use a vacation day, completely forgetting to call it in. The next day, I was greeted by a very angry Bogo and no real excuse to defend myself. I had parking duty for two weeks straight.

I never made that mistake again.

I stood, getting dressed and calling Bogo, telling him I'd be at the department by noon.

~ Time Skip ~

Judy's P.O.V

We arrived at the hospital, just a few minutes before my appointment. Nick and I walked in, and sat in the waiting room.
"Hey, Nick?"
He looked over, "Yes, Fluff?"
"Y-you don't think it's anything serious, do you... like a disease?"
He took my paw in his. "No, no, no, not at all. Trust me, Judy, I've been tested for stuff like that." He kissed my forehead. It made me feel better.
I smiled weakly, "Okay."

"Judy Hopps?" A female deer called.

I looked up and hopped out of my chair. Nick started to follow me before he was stopped by the nurse.
"Sorry, sir, but only she can come."
"O-okay..." He looked at me and rubbed my ear. "I'll be right here fluff, okay?"
"Okay"

"Will you please follow me, now, miss?" The doe said, tapping my shoulder.
I turned my quickly and nodded, following her.

Nick's P.O.V

When Judy walked into the adjacent hall for the check up, I slumped back into the chair I was previously waiting in, hoping the best for Judy's health and safety.

A few minutes passed and I was incredibly bored and incredibly worried. All the while thinking something horrible happened to Judy. My fears were justified when she walked back in the waiting room with tears in her eyes.

My eyes widened and I ran over to her, getting down on my knees. She hugged me, smiling, which really confused me for a second, until she told me why.

She whispered, barely making a sound, "I'm pregnant."

Aaaannd that's it for the chapter!
Yeah, I know, short chapter, but oh well! I promise for the next one to be a lot longer, and not take so much time to get out.
