Izuku knew he was different. Well everyone is different but he was a stranger kind of different. For one he was quirkless as diagnosed by multiple doctors who went through every test they could think of by his distraught mother. But the quirklessness didn't explain how he can smell things that weren't supposed to smell, especially at a distance. It didn't explain how he could hear every little thing around him at all times no matter what or how close it was. It didn't explain how he could feel things at a distance as if he were touching them. It didn't explain how he could taste the air like he can smell. And it certainly didn't explain how he could see at such a clarity it is hard to explain.

Though these things were normal for him, from birth in fact. His mother thinks it's a quirk from birth kinda thing, though no one believes her. With the toe joint and the non-existent quirk factor it's pretty obvious why. But Izuku didn't care much, his focus was mainly on cataloging his senses the best he could. He was quite oblivious to others as he wandered sniffing and tasting the air, examining everything to the greatest detail and avoiding anything he felt too close.

It was unfocused and listless, just going day by day pretty oblivious to the world. Until a certain Hero made his debut.

"... 1 thousand already saved! Who is this new hero!" Izuku was fully focused on the TV watching this new hero with fascination and bouncing on the soles of his feet. He had just started getting into Hero's recently but something about this specific Hero was special he could feel it.

He cheered as the Hero ran around grabbing civilians as the building toppled around them. When the Hero was done he posed in front of the camera and reporters and declared.

"My Hero name is All Might and anyone can be a Hero!" Izuku cheered before rushing over to his mother.

"Mama, can I be a Hero?" Izuku asked.

This is where things diverge in another universe, Izuku is as normal as any other Quirkless person Inko would've apologized. In this universe however...

"You'll be a wonderful Hero, baby." Inko said, hugging him tight and inwardly raging at the doctor's who clearly knew nothing about her baby's wonderful abilities.

"Mitsuki's coming over soon with Katsuki so get ready." Izuku wrinkled his nose at the mention, not liking the smell of the two but ran over to his room to get a mask.

As these two got ready for their guests they were largely unaware how much this moment changed things nor were they aware that Izuku's enhanced senses weren't as innocent as they seemed.

AN: Ohhoho I'm alive so this is likely going to be the only update your getting for awhile as I'm moving and it will be a long trip with little to no Internet. So unless I get a spontaneous idea like this one and manage to finish it this week it will likely be about 2 months before you hear from me, not that you hear from me much.
