On a skype video call....
2 friends meet after almost 2 -3 years , after they completed their studies....& are also married now with a kid each.

Sis 1: Assalaamu alaikum sis...how are you ? Where are you?? Long time ....not in contact..

Sis 2: Alhamdulillah... doing good....hmmm...quite busy nowadays. At present at my moms.....place. & You???

Sis1: At my in-laws. (looking at her pic carefully..) you havent changed a bit yaar!! 😓 & I have grown ssooo..fat!

Sis 2: (smiles )... I too had been like that 5-6 months back..but now I have come to my normal form. Hey !!! XYZ .... My hubby will be here any minute... I have to check if the dinners ready..

Sis1: ( looks at the plain clothes she is wearing) but .. you are still in your ordinary clothes...Are you not going to dress up???😮

Sis2: ( shyly) ...ummm...its fine I think...

Sis1: But ...your hubby's gonna come yaar!!!

Sis2: (hesitatingly) I feel it awkward...especially when I am at my 'Maiqa '(mother's place ).

Sis1: why?? When at Maiqa...we are relaxed being ' at home' ...so I think there's nothing to feel awkward about. One might feel so when in her in-laws place......but...

And the fact is that....'it is not your actual home anymore. Your husband's home (with the in-laws )is yours... 'YOU' are the PRINCESS & THE FUTURE QUEEN of that house!! There's no point in feeling awkward there you see!
