"Hey everyone, I want to ask for prayer for a friend from church. She's 14 years old and has a spinal condition that makes her unable to walk, and has been through multiple surgeries, and despite all this has a beautiful, Christlike attitude and is a blessing to everyone who knows her. Yesterday my dad emailed everyone that she was transferred to the hospital for vomiting blood. She has sepsis and is fighting for her life. They haven't figure out where the infection is stemming from.

UPDATE:

So... apparently neither the kidney infection nor the UTI is the source of the sepsis. So she's dealing with three things at once. Also having surgery to take out a shunt which ordinarily runs from brain to urinary tract to filter out brain fluids, but which could now transfer infection to her brain. Her dad says she is running out of time. I don't have words to express the anxiety in my heart, but she is very dear to all of us and if it's God's will to take her home, it will be a huge blow. Please pray."

9/16/19 UPDATE:

M was showing increasing signs of sepsis, including mental confusion. The doctors decided to put her in a medically induced coma. They were able to drain fluid off her abdomen and her heart rate and breathing improved. She has a low fever. Despite many tests they have not determined the cause of the sepsis. Please continue to pray!"

Abba! My heart breaks for this young girl! We ask that if it is Your will, heal her now in Jesus name! You know her purpose and what her story is and how it will impact the lives around her, and You alone can save her. We believe in Jesus name and ask for healing! We pray in Jesus name that Your will be done! We pray in Jesus name that to Your name be the glory!

You are sovereign oh God! You, who breathed out the stars in a single breath and crafted this world from nothing. You, oh God, who knit this young girl together in her mother's womb and who knew her before time began! It is You, and only You! We acknowledge who we are before You and call upon Your mighty name to save her! Amen!

To You be the glory and honor forever! Amen!
