"Well, things in my life are getting.....what's the right word here....hectic. Stressful, most definitely.

My father's going through a rough time right now with his back, and I feel like I have absolute no contact over my life anymore.Apparently, as I have recently found out, I've got some concerning medical problems arising, and I can't stop worrying and stressing over it.I'm fine as of now, don't worry!But between my father's physical pain, my medical stuff, and just plain disaster in my family, I feel more alone and lost than ever.Do you suppose you could help me pray over it?

Also,  my father's having trouble with his workplace. Concerning his pay and possible, in the future, firing due to him being absent from work from his injuries.

We're fine financially right now, but if anything were to happen in that situation, we could be in trouble.But I'm more of concerned on how stressful this is for my parents, and how much weight they've taken onto their shoulders lately."

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.  ~Psalm 34:17-19

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  ~Isaiah 41:10

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"  ~Matthew 6:25-27

Abba,

I lift up this friend of ours and ask you that you would strengthen them, mind, body, and soul. It is no easy thing to bear the weight that they bear now, and to have medical issues on top of it all only adds to that weight. Father, lift their burden and ease the load which they carry. I pray, Father, that You would send Your Holy Spirit to bring about a miraculous healing in their body, and the body of their father. Mend what is broken, Father, and let the doctors scratching their heads in wonder!

Would You also comfort them in their time of trouble; let them know that they are not alone, Father. For there is no place they can go and you are not right there with them. Let your peace that passes all understand flow through them like a balm, Father.

We ask these things in Jesus's mighty name, amen.

"Hello!Just thought I'd drop by and say that my dad's doing better!Sure, he's still in considerable pain, and he's not back to normal yet, but he's progressing!!We FINALLY found a doctor who was willing to work with us on getting my dad help!!Unfortunately, he'll still (most likely) have to have surgery."

Abba, thank you for this answer to prayer! We continue want to lift up our friend's dad and ask for Your healing to take place in his body. Father, thank you for providing a doctor willing to work with them during this time, and we pray for guidance and wisdom for this doctor to help him treat their dad to the best of his abilities.
