The members were gathered around in their living room watching old home videos. Videos they'd taken before their debut that ARMY had never seen. Some things they enjoyed keeping for themselves to look back on. The video they were currently cuddled up watching was one where they went on a trip to the zoo together. They were all really young and expressed a lot of energy in the video.

Their favorite part was when they got to an exhibit with a boa constrictor and Jungkook started crying. They felt terrible when it happened, but looking back now they thought it was pretty funny.

"Oh everyone shhh the snake part is coming up!" Yoongi chuckled.

"Hyyyungggg can't we just skip that part?" Jungkook pouted.

"No way," Yoongi laughed. In the video the members were approaching the exhibit and Jungkook told them he didn't want to see it and that he hated snakes. Jin grabbed him and started dragging him along anyway and the closer they got the maknae started having a full out panic attack and Jin let him go, then he ran away.

All the members started laughing while they watched the old video and Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"That was so mean of you," Taehyung gestured to Jin.

"I didn't know he was actually that scared of snakes! I thought he was being dramatic!" Jin said in defense.

"How old was Kookie in this one?" Jimin asked.

"Thirteen," Jungkook and Namjoon said in unison.

"You were so cute," Jimin said to Jungkook.

"He still is cute!" Hobi laughed. The members sat and continued talking about Jungkook's fear of snakes and how it never went away. He was still to this day completely terrified of the creature. ARMY's knew he had a fear of snakes but they were never informed of how bad the fear actually was. Jungkook wanted to keep that part private as he was a little embarrassed by it. He'd only been confronted by snakes a few more times after the zoo incident as his members did their best to make sure he didn't see one if they were out, like while out hiking or something.

While they continued watching their home videos one of their managers called and asked them if they could do an episode of a reality show called KNetMedia. They were reluctant at first. They didn't like being on reality shows because they all felt like they'd been treated badly right from the start when it came to other hosts which was why they had created Run BTS, their own reality show. Namjoon asked his manager some questions about what the show would entail and his manager informed him that the show had very nice and respectful hosts and that it was mainly a request from ARMY for them to be on an episode. The members did some talking and decided that one episode won't hurt. Plus it would be a pre-recording so if they decided they didn't like how things were going they could simply ask to not have it aired.

"Who knows maybe it will be fun?" Jungkook told his hyungs. The others agreed that they should go on the show with a positive mindset.

The day of the show, the members were backstage in a dressing room getting ready. They were told the episode would consist of an interview and having the members play a few games. While Jungkook was in the bathroom, the host of the show, named Pum, quickly gathered the rest of the members together and said that during part of the episode he wanted to play a prank on Jungkook. When asked what the prank was, Pum wouldn't tell them. Namjoon didn't know how he felt about that. He felt like as the leader he had the right to know what was happening to the rest of his members, especially on a show they were reluctant to attend to begin with. The members kept asking to know what the prank was but Pum said he also wanted to record their genuine reactions to it from another room.

"Are you going to throw slime at him or something? Or have someone jump out of a box and scare him?" Hobi asked.

It wouldn't be the first time a host had someone jump out of a box to scare them. They all rolled their eyes when they thought back to that prank.

"I told you it's a surprise! I promise it will be great!" Pum said, "But I need him alone in a room for it."

The members and Pum discussed telling Jungkook that they were all going to be placed in separate rooms as part of a game they would be playing. Just then Jungkook came back from the bathroom and asked what was going on and they told him about the 'game' and how they'd be separated into rooms.

"What is the game?" Jungkook asked. He felt excited, he loved playing games.

"It's a surprise. You will find out the rules once you are all separated," Pum told the maknae. Jungkook nodded.

They headed out and began recording together. Like they were told, they started with a small interview and then played a few games together. One of the games was a small quiz game about how well the members all knew eachother. Taehyung was the only one to get the answers correct but only because he kept walking around and cheating, he wasn't even trying to be discreet about it.

Once the games were done Pum told the group it was time for the next game which involved them being separated. Some of the shows staff came out to 'escort' the members to separate rooms. Jungkook was dropped off in a room first and was told the others would be separated next. However they weren't, they all gathered back on the main stage to be able to watch the live video feed coming through one of the screens.

Jungkook looked around the room while he patiently waited for someone to come give him directions about this game he was told they'd be playing. Everything seemed normal, it was a simple dressing room with some couches, a small coffee table, and some decor. He decided to sit down on the couch while he waited.

The members were eagerly watching the live feed from his room and could see him sitting on the couch.

"So what's the prank? Can you tell us now? He's in that room what is going to happen?" Jin asked a bit impatiently.

"You will see," Pum smiled. As they continued to watch, suddenly something changed in Jungkook. They saw him jump to his feet standing on the couch and his face looked frozen.

"Oh! What's going on? The prank started? What is it, what is he looking at?" Taehyung asked while chuckling a little bit.

Jungkook was sitting on the couch when he looked into the corner and suddenly saw the biggest snake he'd ever seen in his entire life start slithering towards him. He felt his blood run ice cold and he instinctively jumped up onto the couch.

"Wait! No no no no!" Jungkook screamed out loud. He looked around the room for any cameras but couldn't tell if there even were any. He started to hyperventilate with panic and shake uncontrollably. "Help! No no no no! Help! Help!" Jungkook cried. He tried to swallow the lump in his throat but it only got bigger. He felt like he couldn't breathe.

The members were watching confused.

"What's wrong with him? What's going on? He needs help?" Jimin asked concerned. Pum told them to wait a minute, it was all part of the prank. The members felt a bit angry. They didn't know what the prank was because from their point of view they couldn't see the giant snake yet. All they could see was Jungkook panicking and they didn't know why.

"Oh my God no no no this isn't happening!" Jungkook cried. The snake was beginning to slither closer to him on the floor and he felt like he was going to throw up. He frantically searched for any other exit but the only one there was being blocked by the snake that seemed to have no end to it's length. "Someone help! I have to get out! I have to get out!" Jungkook felt the tears fall down his cheeks and he could tell his face was turning red. He was getting dizzy. The oxygen he tried to suck into his lungs didn't seem to work. He felt like he was suffocating.

"Oh my God!" Namjoon screamed and shot up from his seat. He was the first person to see the snake come into view on the screen they were watching . Suddenly all the members saw it and they all jumped up.

"Get him out of there! What the hell?!" Yoongi screamed.

"He can't take that he's terrified of snakes! And what the hell kind of giant ass snake is that?!" Taehyung cried. Namjoon instantly knew it was a reticulated python. "Are you trying to kill him?!" Namjoon screamed. Reticulated pythons prey on humans, Namjoon knew that.

"Kill him? It's just a snake!" Pum yelled in defense.

"That snake could kill him!" Namjoon screamed at Pum. All of the members ignored anything anyone else had to say and started running to the room that Jungkook was trapped in.

Jungkook didn't know where the hell the snake came from all he knew was that he wished he could drop dead instead of having to be in this situation. He couldn't get a proper breath in as he was crying. He wondered who had set this up because he knew it had to be someone. There was no way a giant snake like this just came out of nowhere and ended up in his room. He realized it had to be some kind of prank the show was trying to pull and he wondered if his hyungs were going through the same thing. He knew they couldn't have been in on it because they'd always been cautious about snakes around him. He really wanted his hyungs. The snake started getting closer and he completely froze in shock. He suddenly couldn't even think straight and didn't quite understand what was going on anymore.

"No...no.." he whimpered as the giant creature kept getting closer. The only safety he had was standing on the couch but he realized the snake was so big it could easily slither right up it. His final thought was that he was doomed. Then he panicked so badly his body physically couldn't handle it anymore and he fainted as his body dropped onto the couch.

Thankfully the members were there in a heartbeat and barged the door open. They started yelling at staff to help them and the man in charge of the snake came in and started wrangling the snake up. Yoongi gave the man a hard push, "What the hell is wrong with you?! You know what this snake is capable of and you do this to him?!" Yoongi screamed. The members all ran to Jungkook who was a passed out sweaty mess on the couch.

Hobi started shaking him, "Hey, hey bunny wake up. It's okay, it's okay," Hobi cooed. Jimin took his shirt sleeve and started wiping the sweat off Jungkook's forehead. Taehyung was also trying to help wake his maknae up, "Hey Jungkook-ah? Can you hear us? It's okay it's gone! The sna-- uh..the thing is gone. You're alright just wake up!" Taehyung was nervous. He hated seeing Jungkook like this, they all did. This was worse then their damn zoo trip all those years ago.

Jimin was crying seeing Jungkook passed out. He started running his fingers through Jungkook's hair, "It's okay Kookie please wake up..." he whispered. Yoongi was busy screaming at the staff and Pum who had entered after them about how they were all extremely inconsiderate and jerks for not thinking about how dangerous this was. Even if Jungkook wasn't afraid of snakes, trapping him in a room with a snake that could kill him should have been considered a crime. Pum claimed to have no idea what kind of snake they'd be using and Jin told him he was full of shit.

"This is exactly why we don't do these damn reality shows!" Jin screamed.

Hobi was still gently shaking Jungkook when he started to stir awake. "Hey..hey...." Hobi whispered. Jungkook's eyes suddenly shot open and he started panicking again. He didn't know what was going on or where the snake went. He instantly sat up on the couch again and looked around frightened, "No! Get it away from me!" Jungkook cried. The members pulled him into a hug, "It's gone. Shh. It's okay it's gone it's just us now. We're here." Taehyung was rocking him in his arms to try and calm him down more.

"Someone get him some water," Namjoon demanded to the staff of the show.

Jungkook buried his head into Taehyung's chest and started crying. The snake was gone but the embarrassment of passing out was eating away at him. Nobody ever knew how scared he was of snakes except his hyungs. He felt like his secret was out.

"I want to go home," Jungkook cried into Taehyung's chest.

"We are," Yoongi said, "We're done here." He turned to the staff, "You're not airing this episode. Don't even think about it. And if you do, I'll make damn sure our company sues you for this." There was no question about it. Yoongi demanded all the footage from the episode be deleted and they weren't going to be on the show anymore. Jin said they would let their company release a statement about how they won't be featured on an episode of the show, leaving out the details of what happened to Jungkook. Although they'd love to call out the broadcasting company for what they'd done, they also already knew Jungkook didn't want that. And anything for their maknae.

A staff member handed Jungkook a water bottle for him to drink and he took small sips. He was still shaking from how terrified he'd been and he wanted to simply disappear. Taehyung rubbed his back and a few minutes later Jimin let them know their ride had shown up. The members all held on to Jungkook as they walked with him out of the station and got him into the car. He still really wasn't feeling well so he curled up against Namjoon.

"We're so sorry," Hobi started as they were being driven home. "We had no idea they were going to do that. If we had known we would have never let them do that."

"I figured that much," Jungkook pouted.

"They told us they were pranking you but they refused to tell us what it was. That should have been the first red flag. I'm sorry," Namjoon told Jungkook.

"It's okay hyung." Jungkook didn't blame anyone except the people from the show.

The rest of the ride home was quiet as everyone continued to feel really bad. When they got home Jungkook ran to his room and curled up in his bed. He simply wanted to rest and try to calm down. Jin started making some tea that would relax him. Yoongi, Hobi, and Jimin started dinner while Namjoon and Taehyung went into Jungkook's room to comfort him a bit more. Not much was said but the three cuddled up and enjoyed eachothers presence.

Namjoon knew that Jungkook wasn't aware of what kind of snake he had just encountered and he was hoping, if he was really lucky, that Jungkook wouldn't find out. At least not yet. He feared the maknae would pass out again or something if he knew. He already told everyone else to act like they also didn't know what kind of snake it'd been.

Jin came in with the tea and offered some to everyone. Jungkook sat up as he sipped it, it really did help calm him down. He loved when Jin made his special tea.

"You feeling a bit better, bunny?" Jin asked softly. Jungkook nodded. Finally, he was.

"Good, because I was wondering if you all wanted to watch some more home videos!" Jin chuckled. They looked at Jungkook. He just shrugged, "I don't mind. But hyungs?" Jungkook looked to them.

"Yes?" Jin asked.

Jungkook started chuckling a bit, "Please not the one with the snake in it."
