The story begins with the birth of Kayadhu, a serpant princess renowned for her beauty and virtue. Her life was filled with joy and privilege until her destiny met with an impending doom.

As Kayadhu grew into a beautiful young woman, she caught the eye of the powerful demon king, Hiranyakashipu. She was forced into marriage with him as he had attacked the serpant kingdom.

The transition to the demon kingdom was jarring, filled with darkness, cruelty, and the constant threat of violence. Kayadhu struggled to reconcile her own values with the demonic lifestyle.

Kayadhu's emotional turmoil deepened as she witnessed the atrocities committed by her husband and his followers. She longed for a life of peace and righteousness, but felt trapped in her circumstances and cruel fate.

Amidst her despair, she conceives a child, bringing a glimmer of hope and purpose to her life.

To protect her child from the evil influence of the demon kingdom, Kayadhu secretly seeked the wise sage Narada to convince the demon king to let his wife and his unborn child stay in the hermitage of sage Narada. The demon king agreed to her request and allowed them so that his unborn child gets a good atmosphere to be born.

There,at the sanctuary of serenity,  she gives birth to Prahlad, a boy destined to be a great devotee of Lord Vishnu and bring a drastic change in the demon race.
