After college, we all went to Jack's house since he had been working on a project for us, had I mentioned that, sorry it was a very exciting time. With him being a technophobe and afraid that machines will take over and rule the world, annnyway I do feel really guilty that he's constantly being confronted with his fears for me. However, whenever I voice my concerns to him, he constantly reassures me that if he didn't want to do it he wouldn't and that he needs and wants to get over his fear. Me and Jem have been helping him with it. We are even thinking of getting him a phone for his birthday next month and apparently he has been using a computer more and more in his classes.

Me and Jem were sitting on the light grey carpet covering the floor of Jack's room, talking about college and superhero stuff. Surrounded by the black and white walls of his bedroom that were covered by posters for various bands.

"Ro, no I am not coming with you on your adventure to get yourself killed, I keep telling you that" she said after I asked her once again to come into the field with me someday.

"Fiiiine, stay and be the guy in the chair with the computers and stuff but if you ever get bored of that....." I was interrupted by a resounding "No Ro".  Yet another unsuccessful attempt I think as I sigh.

We were waiting for Jack to finish setting up final touches on the project before we could see it. He entered his room and took off the black hoodie he had worn to college and thrown it over a chair next to his desk, showing underneath his navy t-shirt with the name of a band I have never heard of on the front. He also wore black jeans, he really likes the colour black, if you hadn't been able to tell already.

"Ok, Ro, Jemy. You ready?" he says with a smile.

We both stand up and follow him outside to his back garden. In his garden was a huge tree with big branches, and a lot of leaves, that's perfect for a treehouse. In shock we could see he had built one, which we were not expecting, to be honest, I didn't know what to expect when he said he was going to set up a base for us.

"Soooo, this is what you meant by I have the perfect place for us to have a superhero hideout," Jem says, smirking at Jack.

I stood in silence staring at the treehouse and how high up it was, as the memory of that day came back to me.

Flashback time yay!:

"Robin!! Please" said a young boy, yelling for his best friend.

"I'm coming, hang on" she yelled back at him.

The boy had attempted to climb a tree to look at a birds nest that held a few eggs in it, but he had gotten stuck and was hanging and swinging from a branch that was very close to snapping.

"What made you think climbing the tree was a good idea!" She yells at the boy as she gets to the bottom of the tree.

"Stop yelling at me and judging me for a min, just fly up here and get me already" the boy yelled down at his friend.

The girl paced around the bottom of the tree contemplating what to do. She was too scared to fly up there, she rarely used her powers she was always too afraid too.

"Robin!! Please, I'm scared!! I'm scared I'm going to.... " the boy was cut off by the snapping of the branch as he fell quickly to the ground beneath him.

End of flashback as I was pulled out of my thoughts by my friend Jack.

"Robin, you ok you look lost in thought," he says with concern in his voice.

"Just thinking... about how I can't wait to see what this looks like inside," I say trying not to worry my friends.

Jem quickly starts running over to the treehouse and climbs up, shortly followed by Jack. I walk over to the base of the tree, look up at the house to see my friends who have already gone inside, I stop myself from climbing up the ladder, instead, I decide to use my powers and fly to the door of the treehouse and knock.

"Flying that's cheating," Jem says to me as I enter the treehouse.

"Yeah well you could have just as easily teleported yourself in here," I say laughing.

I looked around the treehouse and it was filled with everything a superhero could possibly need. A monitor and a set of comms so that they can talk to me while I'm out, a case to hold a superheroes costume for when I get one and a few comfy chairs with a TV and DVD player so we can just relax up here if we wanted to.

"Wow, Jack, how did you get all this in here it almost seems like its....".

I get cut off by my geeky friend "like it's bigger on the inside! " she says jumping up and down.

"Jem!" me and Jack look at her with a face that says really.

"Can we go one day without you making a geek reference?" Jack said smirking as the girl stopped jumping.

"Never Captain," she said with a smirk.

Both me and Jack look at each other and mouth captain at each other in confusion at our friends' strange reference.

"So what do you guys think?" He said nervously, waiting for our reaction.

Jem was the first to say something "Jack I love it!!", he sighs in relief and they both look at me.

"Robin?" Jacks says to me as I just look around in wonder at the base he has created.

All I could think to say was "Wow" as I ran over to them and wrapped them in a group hug.

"I'm guessing you like it, now all we need is a superhero name for you, Ro".

So the group had a base as a Treehouse... which later will officially be dubbed "The Treehouse" so yea anyway
