I was sitting in the Treehouse, working on the mask that I had promised to make for Robin. I start thinking about the fact that I should probably tell Robin and Jemy, the truth about my powers, or lack thereof.

People without some sort of power is extremely rare. So I lie about being a Technophobe and my powers. I'm in fact the opposite I love technology and I'm just skilled at building machines, no one knows I'm on an engineering course in college, they stopped asking me what course I was doing after I kept avoiding the question. I hated lying to them, especially Jemy, I let out a sigh at the thought as I finish Robin's mask.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I hear the door to the Treehouse, I see Jemy walk in and I smile, but she wasn't alone, she was talking to a boy I never met before. He was short about the same height as Jemy, wearing a white shirt and a black zip-up hoodie and a brown leather jacket over top both open, with black jeans. He had brown hair.

They walked over to me and I say hello to both Robin and Jemy before asking who the boy was. Then Jemy introduced us.

"This Jack, is Finn," Jemy said to me, "and Finn this is Jack," she says to Finn, did she smile as she said that?

"Nice to meet you, Jack, this place is amazing", Finn says to me as he offers me his hand for me to shake presumably.

"..... Thanks", I say hesitantly shaking his hand.

"Oh Finn, tell Jack what your power is!!!", Jemy says excitedly, jumping up and down slightly. I could see Finn getting slightly nervous rubbing the back of his neck slightly.

Jemy also notices this, and quickly says almost yelling "That's if you want to that is, no pressure!!, Jemy says smiling. Robin on the other side of the room trying to hold back a laugh but failing miserably earning a glare from the geeky girl.

"No, Jem, it's fine," he says smiling at Jem before continuing, " I can sense what people powers are and what their afraid of, I can also enhance and strengthen people's abilities but that can take a lot of energy out of me" he says smiling at me awkwardly.

My heart starts to beat faster, as I receive this information. Holy crap, he knows I don't have any powers, no no no...

"Jack are you ok?", I hear Ro ask me, as I'm pulled out of my thoughts.

"I... uh... yea Ro, I'm fine," I say trying not to sound nervous and probably failing, "Finn, can I talk to you in private?".

"Yeah... sure...", Finn says confused.

"Robin, do you mind?" I say gesturing to Jemy.

Robin nods understanding what I meant and grabs Jemy flying her out of the Treehouse and down to the ground. I could hear the protests of Jemy get quieter as they leave, which causes me to chuckle slightly.

"What was it you wanted to talk to me about?" Finn asks me getting nervous.

"I'm guessing you can sense there's something wrong with me," I said looking at the ground a sad look on my face.

"You mean the fact I can't sense what powers and phobias, you have," Finn said putting his hand in my shoulder, "that's doesn't mean there's something wrong with you".

I look up at him, wondering to myself why I was telling this guy I met less than 10minutes ago my biggest secret. Oh, yea cause he can literally sense it.

"Of course it does, everyone else I know has had powers, granted not everyone wants to talk about them or tell people what they are, but me...", I slowly make my way over to the sofa and flop down and rest my head in the back and stare at the ceiling "... I got nothing".

Finn makes his way over to the sofa and plonked down next to me. "Jack, there's something you should know," he says looking at me with a slight smirk, so slight I barely saw it.

"What?" I say looking at him curiously.

"I never said you never had powers, I said I couldn't sense what they were", he says to me.

"What are you trying to say, Finn," I said staring at more I intensely than before.

"I'm saying I can sense that you have powers, and I can't sense what your fears are but something is blocking me from sensing what you powers actually are", he says with a concerned face, but also looking like he's trying to solve a puzzle in his head.

I stare at him and just rapidly blinking until I saw his hand waved in front of my face, and I heard a "You alright, mate" followed by a few yells of my name, not loud enough for the girls to hear but loud enough to startle me.

I just blankly look at him and ask "What do you mean you sense my powers" just loud enough for Finn to hear.

Before he could answer, Jemy and Robin burst in through the door.

"Are you two done, cause we got a situation down at the college," Robin says with a concerned look on her face.

YES , Jack lies about his powers, also now you know why Jacks seems ok with machines dispute being "afraid" of them...
