Ever since Bubbles met Y/N & the little incident in the library, she couldn't stop thinking about him & wondered if he's usually like that or he only acts like a brute around strangers. She immediately told her friends what had happened to her & needless to say, they were both shocked.

"You got the chance to get close to that hottie? Oh my gosh, you're so lucky!", Blossom said.

"Um...I'm sure you wouldn't call it being lucky if you got pinned down & received a cold glare & an even colder statement from him."

"Wait, he pinned you down?! Bubbles, what were you two doing in there?!", Buttercup exclaimed.

Bubbles blushed, "B-Buttercup, it's not what you think! Stop being so dirty minded!"

"But..."

Buttercup turned to Blossom, "Hmm? What is it, Bloss?"

"I STILL THINK YOU'RE LUCKY BECAUSE YOU GOT CLOSE TO HIM~"

Bubbles sighed & facepalmed. She loves her friends but sometimes, they can be a bit hard to handle & maybe a little helpless.

"Bubbles, I have a question.", Blossom said.

"Huh? Oh...OK. What is it?"

"Did you get his name?", the ginger haired female asked.

"Mhm, his name is Y/N."

Her friends gasped.

"What? Something wrong?"

"I can't believe you managed to get his name!", Blossom squealed.

"Why? What's so surprising about it?"

"Well, the truth is, his friend's cousin is in my soccer team.", Buttercup answered.

"Wait, really?"

"Yeah. They told me all about him before but I never really paid attention."

"Also, I heard he hates people & rarely introduces himself to strangers.", Blossom butted in.

"Where did you even get that information?", Bubbles asked.

"Oh, I know I few people who stalk him for me.", Blossom grinned.

Bubbles & Buttercup could only facepalm.

Bubbles entered the cafe & was greeted by her coworkers. She greeted them back before going to the female's restroom to change into her uniform. Her shift doessyart until later & she can still wait for Blossom & Buttercup but she prefers to be early & do her job as soon as she arrives.

She walked out of the restroom & went to the back of the counter, greeting her coworker, Tiffany, who is also a cashier like her.

"Hey, early as always.", Tiffany smiled.

"Yep."

"Well, we won't be doing much today since the cafe is not that packed."

Bubbles looked around & realized that there were only about six or seven customers. She only nodded as a response to what Tiffany said before sitting on the chair behind her.

~Timeskip~

After three hours, it was finally time for Bubbles' shift to start. Blossom & Buttercup already arrived & were now doing their jobs as waitresses, serving the customers their drinks & baked goods.

"See you tomorrow, Bubbles.", Tiffany said before walking out of the cafe.

As soon as she stepped out of the door, a certain intimidating male walked in, who immediately caught Bubbles' eye. She watched him sit down on the table where he sat the other day & pull out the hentai manga he found in the library from his bag. Blossom & Buttercup seemed to notice something was up with Bubbles because of the way she stared at him. It was sort of filled with concern or worry.

Blossom approached the shorter female & snapped her fingers to snap her out of it. Bubbles blinked a few times before facing Blossom.

"Yeah, Bloss?"

"What's wrong with you, Bubbles? You seem out of it."

"Oh, nothing. I just got distracted."

Blossom grinned, "Distracted by what or who? Mr. Hottie over there?"

A blush spread across Bubbles' face & she covered Blossom's mouth with her hand, "Shh!"

"So it was him who distracted you!", Blossom said yet it was hard to understand.

Bubbles rolled her eyes before moving her hand away from her friend's mouth, "Just get back to work, Bloss."

Blossom walked away, snickering.

Bubbles shook her head & took a glance at Y/N, seeing him looking at her before returning to his dirty manga.

~Timeskip~

"OK, why the heck are you in the club at 10:00 pm?", Bubbles grumbled into the phone.

"Hey, guys need to have fun, you know!", Butch said on the other line.

"Just give me that.", she heard Brick.

"Look, get your ass over here & take Boomer home, OK? We already have our hands full because of Ben & Blitz."

Bubbles sighed, "Fiiiine."

She hung up before taking her jacket from the coat rack & stepping out of the house. Having a brother is such a pain sometimes. She took a cab & went to the club the RRB were currently at.

When she got there, she immediately spotted the drunk brother on one of the tables, seemingly passed out with a bottle of beer in his hand. She quickly approached him & shook him, earning a groan from him.

"Hey, Boomer. Come on, we're going home."

"Nggh...five more minutes."

"Dang it."

She pulled out her phone & went to the back of the club, dialing Beam's number to help her take Boomer home. While she was busy tapping her foot on the ground, she heard the back door open & close. She turned around & saw a very familiar male. She realized that it was Y/N, standing in a dark corner while leaning on the wall. They met eyes for a few seconds before Y/N scoffed & began to walk away.

"Wait!"

Y/N grumbled a few curses under his breath before turning around to reply with a cold, "What?"

"Um..."

"Spit it out, I don't have time for this."

"Uh...what are you...doing here?"

Y/N stared at her, he could clearly tell that Bubbles was screaming internally for asking such a stupid question. He wanted to laugh but he couldn't, especially in front of a girl like Bubbles.

"Looking for monkeys, what did you think?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ask that."

"It was pretty stupid."

"I know, I know! No need to tell me.", Bubbles blushed.

A ghost of a smirk appeared on Y/N lips before he quickly wiped it off. He turned around to walk away again but Bubbles called out to him once more.

"Wait a minute!"

He groaned in annoyance, "What?"

"I just...I just want to know if..."

"If?"

"If...you come here often?"

"..."

'Ah! Why am being so stupid today?!', Bubbles covered her face with both of her hands in embarrassment.

Y/N gave her a side glance, his eyes dark & cold as ice, "Yeah."

Bubbles removed her hands from her face & looked at him in the eye, "Every night?"

"Yeah."

"Then...", Bubbles gave him a small smile, "I hope I can see you again."

Y/N pursed his lips while eyeing her down before turning his head to look at her with confusion.

Bubbles' small smile turned into a brighter & bigger smile, "You're an interesting person, Y/N."

Y/N turned his head to look away from her, his lips curling up into a small smile, "Heh, I think you're the interesting one."
