Why pray for the gift of immortality.

When no human has ever achieved this abnormality.

For try as they must, to stay young and rife with youth.

No one has been able to uncover this ungodly truth.

For it is not about the amount of time spent here on this Earth.

And more so about the quality of life and the cycle of rebirth.

Life is precious and you must embrace every fleeting moment

As the world will toss opportunities upon you to result in your utter enjoyment

Your life has meaning and as do you

So be true to yourself through and through

Do all that you can to make life pleasant and free of pain and hurt

Because the gift of life was bestowed upon us kindly from the heart

Many factors from our life have shaped us into how we are today

So, do not be quick to think yourself worthless, and give your life away

Don't be so quick to judge yourself and your supposed cracks and flaws

For everyone has them and it is one of our most sacred laws

Small as we may be, in comparison to the large expanse of universe

We all have left our mark on the world for better or for worse

You matter because you being you has such a consequential impact on the Earth

Without you, our home would be forever changed and lose some of its treasured worth
