Chapter One: Missing Gems

Colby Brock had been doing extensive research on anything that could possibly help him and the rangers defeat Morgana and Azazel, staying in the bunker alone was boring enough but at least he would be able to help them. Colby's pale blue eyes focused on the computer screen when a strange pinging noise appeared on his computer.

Pushing his chair away from the research computer he rolled over to the map on the computer and pressed his mouse. Colby zoomed into the pinned location surprised that the computer even picked up on a possible jewel. Moving the picture closer he saw that the jewel was in an abandoned neighborhood long forgotten by the public.

"It's now or never," Colby said to himself.

Colby walked over to the closet and took out his old backpack with the logo XPLR on it. He pulled out all the items he needed such as a flashlight and a map. With everything in hand, Colby walked out of the bunker and began his journey.

Mark and Amy were enjoying themselves after a year as a ranger, Mark Fischbach was relieved that Lucifer was done for. Mark glanced down at the red lightning ring wishing he could morph and join his friends, but he hadn't spent time with Amy since he became a ranger. About a month after Lucifer's downfall, he had to go back to his normal life. Mark wished there was a way for him to keep Amy from remembering. But until then at least he could spend time with her. However, he wondered what his friends were doing now that things quieted down.

In hell, Morgana watched from her crystal ball the sight of the rangers coming and going back to their personal lives. She laughed considering the rangers believed that they were defeated.

"Fools, I have only just begun," Morgana smirked.

She sent Azazel back to earth with a handful of dark angels, although she did not trust him as far as she could throw him. Morgana waved her hand over the Crystal ball until she found Colby Brock. Annoyed she called Azazel and told him about the sudden occurrence of the computer nerd.

*~*~*

Sean missed being a ranger more than anything, in fact he wanted to stay in the states. As Sean was getting ready to board the American Airlines flight, a bad feeling came over him. He hadn't heard anything from Colby or the Winchester brothers. A scream was heard from somewhere in the airport.

The Green Ranger raced to the scene of the chaos and saw a group of rogue Dark Angels were on the attack. Groups of people screamed and spread out. Not willing to sit back and watch, Sean raced into the crowd guiding people to safety, suddenly, he heard the screams of a young girl. Instinct kicked in and he looked over to see a young five-year-old fearing for her life. Dark Angels were circling her.

Sean ran to the girl's aid and kicked the dark angels sending them flying into the others. He reached over and picked the girl up taking her to safety.

"Thank you!" The mother with long locks of black hair and deep green eyes said.

"No problem, now get to safety, I'll take care of this," Sean ordered.

The mother nodded and ran to join the others. Now with the civilians safely out of the way he turned toward the Dark Angels.

"You assholes really can't take a hint!"

Sean took off his leather glove so the ring would be present. He called on his powers.

"Lightning strike! Ranger up!"

A flash of green lightning hit his ring; his green super suit appeared over his body as he pulled on his helmet. Transforming himself into the Green Lightning Strike ranger.

The Dark angels made a strange noise as on by on they attacked Sean. "Blitz Daggers! Golden blade mode!"

Sean's weapons joined together forming a double ended sword. Swinging it, he struck the Dark angels sending them flying and disintegrating into dirt.

"Golden blade! Final strike!" Sean exclaimed.

Sean slashed down and across defeating the rest of the Dark Angels. With the monsters destroyed, Sean dimorphed and raced into the bathroom. Getting into one of the stalls, Sean called his friends through his ring as a holographic image of them appeared. The only ones that hadn't answered was Sammy Winchester and Dean. Probably because they were busy fighting the supernatural and hunting them down to save civilians.

Mark and Amy appeared first, followed by Sam and Kat as well as Tara.

"Sorry to bother you guys," Sean said. "But we have a problem, Dark angels were just here at the airport, but no monster, I don't know what Morgana and Azazel are planning, but we need to do something,"

"Let's meet back at the bunker and figure out what to do," Mark said.

"Has anyone heard from Colby and the Winchesters?" Sam Golbach asked.

"Yeah, I hadn't seen or heard from them in a while," Katrina agreed.

"Maybe Colby is busy with something?" Tara suggested. "As for the Winchesters they're probably off hunting, remember they hadn't seen each other in years?"

"Right, I'll meet you guys at the bunker,"

Sean Hung up and teleported to the bunker without a second thought.

*~*~*

Colby searched up and down for the sapphire gem, but to no avail, he hadn't found it. Pulling out his map, he marked off another building on the map. The last one was none other than an old run-down house.

"That gem better be there," he said to himself.

Colby started his trek through the forest again, However, his hair stood on end like someone was watching him. Pretending that nothing was wrong, he walked through the forest until he came across the run-down house with a boarded-up door. Setting his bag down, Colby pulled out a crowbar and started pulling out the wood.

Colby remained cautious in case Azazel and the dark angels were around. With all the wood taken out, Colby stuffed the crowbar back in the bag, and walked inside. He whipped out his flashlight as the whole house was dark and it looked like a warzone. Old items from previous owners left abandoned, water dripping from the ceiling, everything just fell apart. Flashing his flashlight around, Colby walked through the house until he came across a room that he assumed was the master bedroom. Sitting on a desk he saw a sapphire-colored box, the box sparkled against the flashlight.

"Found you," Colby said.

He raced over to the container and opened it. Inside he saw a beautiful sapphire necklace which would help the next chosen ranger. Closing it, Colby stuffed it in his backpack and stepped out of the house only to come face to face with Azazel and Dark angels.

"Hello, kid, thank you so much for leading us straight to the sapphire gem," Azazel laughed.
