The Rangers need Dr. Akana's help to stop Void Knight's evil scheme. But Ollie disagrees with Zayto's plan, afraid it will put his mother in danger.

*My POV*

"So, Void Knight, must've had his minions snooping on us again." Ollie said as we were talking. "But why would he take your mom's device?" Izzy asked. "Maybe the Sporix weren't giving him the power he wanted." Zayto said.

"So, he wants to tap into the Grid's power instead?" Ollie asked. "But what for?" Amelia and I asked. "Summer's coming. Maybe he needs it to run his air conditioner? Those things need a lot of power." Javi said.

"Whatever it is, we know that Void Knight can't use Dr. Akana's device. It's missing its capacitor, and she's still got it." Tommy said. "Yeah. We can't let him get his hands on it." Ollie said and we nod. 

"Or could we? What if he got it but it didn't actually work?" Aiyon asked coming over to us. "So, we don't fix the capacitor?" Javi asked confused. "Or even better-- we sabotage it." Tommy and I said.

"That way, if he tries to use it, we can make it go ka-boom!" Amelia said. "That'd stop his plans cold." Izzy said as we all nod. "It might work. Like you said, he'll go looking for it." Jason said. "So, let's make sure that he finds Dr. Akana and gets it back." Zayto said.

"What?! Uh-uh. No. It's way too risky." Ollie said, not wanting his mother in danger. "I get it. No one wants to put the ones they love in danger." Zayto said softly. "We have to think about what's at stake." Solon said softly.

"But Void Knight's so unpredictable." Ollie said softly. "Maybe she'd want to help. It's your mom's decision to make, not yours, right?" Zayto asked softly, not to be rude about it. Ollie looked over at the rest of us, and we let him decide. He sighed. "Ok. Let's ask her." Ollie said. 

*3rd POV*

"I don't know what you see in him, but ok." Reaghoul said as he brought back...Boomtower. "Boomtower's back! All right! I knew I'd survive that black hole." Boomtower said happily. "You absolutely did not!" Slyther said.

"My magic resurrected you!" Reaghoul said walking to him. "What do you want, a thank you?" Boomtower asked. "Well, yes. Please." Reaghoul said as Mucus was doing something with Void Knight.

"What are you gonna do with it, master?" Mucus asked. "Nothing! Because there's a part missing! Some kind of capacitor!" Void Knight yelled angrily. "Oh, this totally ruins the plan. I'm furious. And I don't even know what the plan is!" Mucus said running around.

"This device needs to work. Find the Doctor and get me the missing part!" Void Knight yelled at them angrily. "It's Boomin' time!" Boomtower said as they all teleported away to find Dr. Akana and the capacitor.

Void Knight growls angrily. "Setback after setback! But think about what's on the line." Void Knight said as the door by the Sporix Machine opened for him, letting him walk into the room. He took his helmet off and turns out he's a man under the mask.

He walked to the tube that held a woman inside. "After all these years, my plans are finally coming together. I promise you, my darling Santaura, it won't be long." He said softly, putting his hand on the glass.

*My POV*

"Right this way, Dr. Akana." Izzy and I said as we led Dr. Akana into the base. "Look at this place.  Ollie will flip. So much tech!" Dr. Akana said as we followed her in. "You like technology, huh? Well, I just bought this thing online called a microwave. It makes popcorn in under three minutes. It's like we're living in the future." Solon said as Dr. Akana stared at her in amazement. 

"You're a...." Dr. Akana said looking at Solon curiously. "Just a Solonsaurus. Plus a few necessary upgrades, as you can see. Call me Solon. Pleasure to meet ya." Solon said as her and Dr. Akana shook hands. 

"The pleasure is all mine. I have so many questions. Like...how? And-and-and... how, and...how?!" Dr. Akana said chuckling and looking around. I smiled from under my helmet. "We are on the clock." Solon said.

"Ok. Down to business." Dr. Akana said as she calmed down. "So, this Void Knight, he's got a knack for stealing my stuff, yeah?" Dr. Akana asked making sure that's right. "Yeah, which is why he'll be after the missing capacitor." Amelia said.

"Oh, true. I've just fixed it. Do you wanna keep it safe or something?" Dr. Akana asked getting it out of her bag. "Not exactly." Jason said. "We want to foil whatever Void Knight's planning." Tommy said.

"And we need your help." I said as we all nod. "It'll mean you come face-to-face with his crew. It could be really dangerous, Doctor. And I'm sure your wonderful and smart son would protest." Ollie said in a slightly deeper voice.

I facepalmed a little, but I saw the gears turning in Dr. Akana's head like she knew. "Maybe. And that is exactly how Ollie would describe himself. But this isn't my first rodeo against these thieves. I'm in." Dr. Akana said, causing us to smile. 

| Later |

We were now in the city watching. We saw Dr. Akana walking as if she was having a normal walk, when we saw Slyther, Mucus, Reaghoul, Void Knight, and Boomtower appear. "Doctor, the monsters are here. You're safe. We've got our eyes on you. Just stick to the plan." Zayto said into the communicator. 

"Say something about the capacitor now." Tommy and I suggested. "Yeah, yeah, I've gotta head back to Dinohenge with my fixed capacitor. Sounds good. Bye, Beatrice!" Dr. Akana said when she stopped.

"Hey, Doc! We thought we'd come in for a check-up!" Boomtower said as him and Reaghoul were in front of her, while Void Knight was behind her. "Oh. Please. No. Leave me alone." Dr. Akana said, purposely backing towards Void Knight.

"Thank you!" Void Knight said taking her back. "No!" Dr. Akana said and I could sense Ollie's worry. "It looks perfect!" Void Knight said and we kept watching. "They took the bait." Aiyon said and Ollie took the binoculars from Zayto as people were screaming.

"Get outta there, Mom." Ollie said as they all were surrounding her. "Now that I've got what I need, you deal with the good doctor." Void Knight said, teleporting away with the capacitor. "Grab her! You like gadgets, Doctor?" Reaghoul asked as Mucus and Slyther grabbed her. 

"No!" Dr. Akana yelled. "Here's one--sleepy cuffs!" Reaghoul said throwing the cuffs on her. "Oh!" Dr. Akana said as we saw her slowly fall to the ground. Mucus laughed. "Goodnight and good luck...to all of you!" Reaghoul said as he casted something under the three of them.

"All of whom? Huh? Oh, dear." Slyther said as him, Dr. Akana and Mucus fell into a hole as Mucus screams. "Mom!" Ollie shouts worried. We were now worried. "Now she's lost in the dark dimension, along with those other two-- man, they're annoying!" Reaghoul said before jumping into the hole, causing it to close, leaving only Boomtower.

"Whatever. Boomy just wants to break stuff." Boomtower said and we looked away. "This is your fault." Ollie said glaring at Zayto. "Don't worry, Ollie. I will get her back, I swear." Zayto said. "How?" Ollie asked angrily.

"I can go after her." Zayto said before going to the corner to hide while he morphs. "Zayto..." I said worried. "Link to Morphin Grid!" He said as he morphed. "Solon, send in the T-Rex Zord and the Raptor Zords." Zayto said. 

"Deploying now." Solon said and I gave Zayto the key. "Battle Mode!" Zayto shouts throwing his keys. "Zords combine!" Zayto said as they began combining. "Linked! T-Rex Cosmic Megazord!" He said as he posed.

"I hope he's got this." Ollie said and I hugged him. He hugged me back. "Cosmic Gateway, activate!" Zayto said as he jumped into the portal. "Your mom's gonna be okay, Ollie." I said softly. 

"We can trust Zayto." Amelia said. "But right now, we've gotta take care of Boomtower." Javi said. "Come on." Tommy said as we jumped over the railing, we landed on the ground. "Ah, here come the Sour Rangers to ruin my day. But you won't be enough!" Boomtower said.

"Why not? We put you down twice before. We can do it again." Izzy said. "Exactly. It's Morphin' Time!" Ollie said causing all of us to slam our hands on our communicators, making our morphers appear.

"Dino Fury Key-- activate!" We said as we flipped our keys open and slammed them into our morphers. We raised our hands up and spun the morphers. "Link to Morphin Grid!" We said as we began to morph.

"Tyrannosuarus!" Jason said.

"Dragon Zord!" Tommy said. 

"Dino Fury Power!" We said as we grabbed our sabers. "Hengemen! Attack!" Boomtower said as Hengemen appeared. We charge at them and begin fighting them. I flipped over Tommy and striked a Hengemen.

*3rd POV*

"She's in this vortex somewhere." Zayto said before looking around and saw Reaghoul. "Looking for something?" Reaghoul asked. "Yeah, but not you." Zayto said before he began fighting with Reaghoul. He fought as hard as he could

*My POV*

I grunt as me, Ollie, Amelia and Tommy pushed Boomtower into a wall and blocked his attacks. We worked together, but he still got us. Aiyon took over, and blocked his attack. "Hey, new guy, we got off on the wrong foot. So, here's a gift!" Boomtower said before he got Aiyon.

"Aiyon!" Jason yelled worried. "It's my award-winning boom blast!" Boomtower said before we all yell as Boomtower blasted us. 

*3rd POV*

"Light Blast!" Zayto said hitting Reaghoul causing him to yell as he was sent flying. "Shadow Blast!" Zayto said sending another one at Reaghoul. "I'll never surrender!" Reaghoul yelled as he was hit. "Your call." Zayto said.

*My POV*

We groan as we kept fighting with Boomtower. "All this winning is making me hungry." Boomtower said as we pant. "Eat this!" Amelia said as we charged at him. We got him one at a time, but Ollie and Izzy were thrown away first, then me, before Amelia lost the boost. 

"Back me up, team." Amelia said looking at us. "Ok. Then let's combine our fury attacks." Ollie said and we got our keys. We began spinning our sabers quickly as we put the keys in. "Dino Fury Force!" We said as we shot our attacks to Amelia.

"Here goes!" Amelia said as she grabbed it and swung it at Boomtower. Boomtower charged and tried to get her, but he could. "Yah!" Amelia said as she destroyed his sword. "My sword!" Boomtower said before Amelia got him in the abdomen. 

"Ow! Ow! Wait, wait, wait! Not a third time. Come on!" Boomtower said before he exploded. We all yelled out as we were thrown back and we landed on the ground. Hengemen and Void Knight appeared. "Right where I want you. Night-night, kids." Void Knight yelled before he threw sleepy cuffs on Amelia and Izzy.

Aiyon, Javi and Jason were next. Ollie, me and Tommy jumped out of the way. We rolled on the ground as the others yawned. "Four Rangers should be enough." Void Knight said as the Hengemen and him began getting the others.

"Ahh! Not this again." I said worried. "Try and fight it. Stay awake! I'm coming." Ollie said as he got up, along with me and Tommy. But as we ran towards them, Void Knight teleported them away. "No!" The three of us yelled.

*3rd POV*

"Megafury Saber!" Zayto said holding his hand up. He grabbed the saber and faced Reaghoul. "No more resurrections for you! Cosmic Gateway Strike!" Zayto said and he slashed Reaghoul causing him to explode.

He saw Dr. Akana. "Dr. Akana! She's okay." Zayto said as he teleported out of the Zords and teleported to Dr. Akana. "Easy does it. I've got you." Zayto said as he grabbed her. "Hey! We need help!" Slyther and Mucus yelled.

"I can see that." Zayto said before turning away. "Uh, okay...Rude!" Mucus shouted as Zayto teleported away with Dr. Akana. "And they call him a hero." Slyther said before Zayto teleported back inside the Zord.

He placed Dr. Akana down. "That was a close call. Hey, time to wake up." Zayto said before taking the cuffs off of her. She woke up. "Don't freak out. You're in a Megazord." Zayto said and Dr. Akana looked at him. "Whoa! You saved me." Dr. Akana said causing Zayto to nod. 

| Meanwhile |

Void Knight walked back to Dinohenge. "I've been patient long enough." Void Knight said as he walked behind the cart that had Dr. Akana's machine on it. He pressed a button, and a machine teleported into the middle.

It had the Rangers hooked up to it who was asleep, but in the middle, was Santaura who was still asleep in the tube. Things appeared on the statues and suddenly the other three rangers teleported to Dinohenge but a few feet away.

*My POV*

Tommy, Ollie and I teleported a few feet away. "Uh, what?" Tommy asked confused as we hid behind a tree. "What?!" Ollie and I said confused. "I was wrong, Rangers. You are good for something." Void Knight said putting the capacitor into place.

"Ah! What would Zayto do?" Ollie asked as we watched. "Think, Ollie. Think!" Ollie said when suddenly, Zayto and Dr. Akana appeared next to us. "Huh?" We asked before facing them. "Ah! Mom-" Ollie said but cut himself off. 

"Huh?" Dr. Akana asked confused as she was suddenly hugged but Ollie caught himself. "Doctor! You're okay!" Ollie said happily. "Yes, I am. But are you?" Dr. Akana asked him. "Um, yeah. He's just a hugger." Zayto said before joining mine and Tommy's side by the tree.

"Is that your machine, Doctor?" Tommy asked as we looked at the machine. "Some of it. But that Void creep has made a lot of changes." Dr. Akana said before we suddenly heard the machine powering up. 

"At long last..." Void Knight said as suddenly the Morphing Grid was seen in the sky again. "Oh, no." I said as we watched. "The power of the Grid is mine!" Void Knight said before pressing another button.

Suddenly Izzy, Aiyon, Javi, Jason and Amelia's statue's glowed as their morphing energy was taken from them. "The energy flowing through them--that amount, it's just too much." Zayto said looking at Ollie, Tommy and me.

"What are you saying?" We asked confused. "They won't survive." Dr. Akana said softly. "I'm not losing anyone else." Zayto said and we nod. Suddenly the woman in the middle began moving. "Yes! It's going to work. Come back to me, my love!" Void Knight yelled.

"We can't blow up the sabotaged capacitor. It'd destroy everyone!" Ollie said looking over at us. "So, break the circuit. Remove the capacitor." Zayto said as we looked back at the situation. "That...that would work. The machine would shut down." Ollie said.

"Ok. We've got a plan. You pull the plug. I'll keep Void Knight busy." Zayto said before walking forward. "Oh, I hope this works." I mumbled and Tommy nodded. "Stay safe, okay? I love yo-your scientific mind. Yeah." Ollie said and I saw her staring at him. 

"Keep it together, man." Tommy whispered to Ollie who nodded. We watched with worry. Zayto ran around the corner. "Void Knight!" Zayto yelled. "Hmph! Come to join the fun?" Void Knight asked mockingly.

"Sorry. I'm here to ruin it. Dino Dagger!" Zayto said as he summoned his dagger. He threw it at Void Knight, but he teleported away. "Huh?" Zayto asked confused. "Nothing personal, Red." Void Knight said before throwing sleepy cuffs on Zayto. 

Zayto yawned. "Bedtime." Zayto said falling to the ground asleep. "But I guess you will be joining our little play date after all. Don't drool on anything." Void Knight said as he picked Zayto up and walked him over. 

"No..." I said worried as we watched. "It's all on us now." Ollie said softly. "Hey, I can help." Dr. Akana said and we faced her. "You can't. It's too dangerous." Ollie said to her out of worry for his mother.

I turned back to what was happening as Tommy and Ollie talked to her. "Follow your dreams, Red. Sometimes they do come true." Void Knight said as he hooked up Zayto next to Jason. "What is up with you?" Dr. Akana asked Ollie.

"If we don't shut that thing down, the power of the Morphin' Grid is gonna burn its way through all our teammates." I said facing them worried. "Hey, the Grid is connected to the dino statues. So, if I destroy them, the whole thing shuts down?" Ollie asked his mother facing her.

"In theory, yes." Dr. Akana said smiling. "Okay. New plan." Ollie said as him, Tommy and I got our sabers as Dr. Akana got a large stick. "I'll distract purple suit over there, buy you a bit of time." Dr. Akana said walking towards us and we faced her.

"You saw how well that worked just now." Tommy said sarcastically. "I can't let you." Ollie said, just wanting to protect his mother. "I appreciate your concern, but this is my decision, not yours." Dr. Akana said and Ollie looked down.

"People do keep telling me that. Okay. Maybe you're right. But that's Void Knight." Ollie said and I saw Dr. Akana smile. "I have a plan. Wait here, and you'll know when to make your move." Dr. Akana said before walking forward as we watched. 

"Excellent! Another Ranger, another conduit to the Morphin' Grid." Void Knight said as he tapped the button, and it began sucking out Zayto's ranger energy. The woman in the middle was now squirming. "At last, it's happening!" Void Knight said happily.

Dr. Akana appeared. "Not if I can help it!" Dr. Akana said before hitting him with the stick. Void Knight hit her, and it sent her flying. "Oh!" She said as she landed on the ground in pain. "Now is not the time!" Void Knight said grabbing his sword and running towards her. 

She backed away and looked towards Zayto's fallen dagger that was stabbed into the ground. "Any last words, Doctor?" Void Knight asked walking towards her. "Yeah. Catch!" Dr. Akana shouted, before grabbing the dagger and throwing it at the machine.

It landed in the machine, and it began letting out steam. "No!" Void Knight yelled running towards it. He jumped and began climbing up it to get the dagger out. "It's okay. just a small leak." Void Knight said as he stayed up there.

Dr. Akana whistles and we appeared. "Sprint Streak!" Ollie and I said as we had the boots on our shoulders. "Oh!" Dr. Akana said as she lost her hat. Tommy rushed to her side to make sure she was okay. 

We attacked each statue, and the stuff fell off the statues. We stopped in front of Dr. Akana and Tommy. "Did it work?" Ollie asked as we faced it. The statues began to explode. "No!" Void Knight yelled.

"Yes!" Dr. Akana yelled. "Yeah!" Tommy, Ollie and I yelled. The power going to the woman stopped, causing Void Knight to jump down. "Come back to me! Come back!" Void Knight yelled, and I kind of...felt bad. 

The others demorphed. "What? They're de-morphing?!" Tommy asked confused. They all got up from the machine. "That means..." Ollie said. "Ollie's friends?" Dr. Akana asked confused. "We lost our link to the Grid!" I shouted before we demorphed. 

"No!" Tommy and I shouted. "Ollie." Dr. Akana said causing Ollie to face his mother. "Mom, I..." Ollie said but he was cut off. "What have you done?!" Void Knight yelled, and the others ran to us. 

"If you dare hurt my son, I will hunt you down and obliterate you and everything you've ever loved!" Dr. Akana yelled as she stormed forward, causing Ollie to follow. Void Knight growls angrily.

"Thanks, Mom. But get to cover. Go!" Ollie yelled pushing her back. "I mean it, buster!" Dr. Akana yelled turning back to Void Knight but Ollie pushing her caused her to run. We stood together. Zayto held his dagger up which turned back into his saber.

We made our weapons appear. "You've interfered for the last time! Hengemen! Destroy them all!" Void Knight yelled as Hengemen appeared. We charged forward and began fighting with them.

We fought as best as we could. Amelia and I were against Void Knight. "Not so much fun now you can't morph?" Void Knight taunts us. "You think we enjoy fighting you?" Amelia and I asked before kicking him away and chasing after him.

"He's got a point, though. We can't keep this up." Javi said as we kept fighting. "He must be stopped!" Zayto and Jason said as we all kept fighting. "I'll take care of it." Izzy said before running towards us. 

Amelia and I were kicked, and we fell to the ground. "Ouch..." I said grunting. Izzy ran and used a Hengemen to jump in the air and cut one of the things on the machine, causing more steam to come out. She did it a few times.

"Yo, Voidy! Your chemistry experiment's falling apart here. I got an A-minus in lab if you need any tips." Izzy said glaring at him. "Stay away from that!" Void Knight yelled before teleporting to her and knocking her off. 

He began trying to fix it. "Aiyon. The capacitor, now!" Izzy yelled causing Aiyon to turn around. "Run, Izzy!" Javi shouted for his sister. "Mosa Blast!" Aiyon said as Izzy ran away along with the rest of us. 

"No! No!" Void Knight yelled before it exploded, causing all of us to go flying. We hit the ground with a few grunts. "That was intense." Izzy said before we saw Void Knight's sword hit the ground. 

Nothing was in the center of Dinohenge anymore. Zayto got up and Void Knight's sword. We all got up slowly. "It's done." Zayto said before throwing Void Knight's sword. "Yes!" Jason said and we all began cheering.

"Oh, man!" Javi said as we all cheered. "I'm so proud of us." I said as we all group hugged. Ollie turned around. "Mom!" Ollie said running to his mother, who looked like she was about to cry as she ran to him. 

"I'm so proud of you, son. Are you okay?" Dr. Akana said as they hugged. "Barely a scratch." Ollie said before Dr. Akana faced us. "So, this whole time, it was you kids and adults." Dr. Akana said causing us to smile.

"We couldn't have done it without you, Doctor." Zayto said walking forward. "You're the best, Dr. Akana." Javi said. "Thank you so much. You're amazing." Amelia said as we all smiled at her. Solon appeared. 

"Well done, Rangers! You fought valiantly." Solon said and we smiled at her. "Oh. You and I still need to have a little chat about...everything!" Dr. Akana said walking towards her. Solon laughed.

Ollie faced Zayto. "Hey. You were right about Mom helping. She really saved us. I'm sorry I questioned your judgment. I'm sorry we've lost our connection to the Morphin' Grid." Ollie said as we looked back at the statues. 

"You did what you had to do." Zayto said softly, putting his hand on Ollie's shoulder. "So,...are we still Rangers?" Izzy asked confused. "There are still Sporix out there, waiting to hatch." Javi said as Dr. Akana and Solon were talking.

"You know, there was a saying on Rafkon--'Once a knight...'" Aiyon said. "'...Always a knight.'." Zayto finished. "If there are still Beasts, I'm not giving up." Zayto and I said. "None of us are." Amelia said smiling. 

We looked over at Dinohenge hearing lightning blasts. We saw the Morphin Grid doing something to the statues, causing us to walk over to it. Suddenly the Green Morphin master appeared. 

"Who is that?" Dr. Akana asked confused. "A Morphin Master!" Zayto said happily as we stared. "Your mission is not over." She said and suddenly the heads on the statues appeared. We watched amazed.

"Whoa!" Jason said. "There is more for you to do." She said as she faced us. "Of course. We'll stop the Sporix. But I have questions. What about Rafkon? What happened to my people?" Zayto asked, but she didn't answer and she disappeared.

We watched in disbelief. Suddenly our sabers started glowing. "What's happening?" Amelia asked confused. Suddenly, our morphers appeared. "No way!" Ollie said happily as we stood in a circle smiling.

"Once a Ranger..." Zayto started. "Always a Ranger!" We all said happily as we laughed. Suddenly, Solon's communicator went off, causing us to face her. "It's the hotline! A Sporix just hatched in town." Solon said.

We nod and stand together. "Duty calls." Zayto said and we prepared. "Link to Morphin' Grid!" We shout as we morphed and stood together. "Dino Fury Power!" We shouted as our sabers glow.

*3rd POV*

Back with Void Knight, he was in the back room as Santaura's glass was cracked. Void Knight's helmet was destroyed on the ground, but...he was nowhere to be found.
