Bella's POV

Digs were great, only if it wasn't a burning hot day like it is today. I pulled a hair tie off of my wrist and pulled my hair back into a messy high ponytail. I continued to carefully chip away dirt from some bones that I found. "Man it sure is hot out." Riley commented, bringing more supplies to us.

"How 'bout you lend a hand?" Chase shouted and we looked up and followed his gaze to see that he was talking to Shelby. She's always wanted to go on digs, and now that she's on one, she's doing something else at the tent.

"Follow me for a sec." Shelby started and walked out of the tent area with a cup in her hand. I stood up from my crouched position. "Keeper gave 11 energems to 11 different dinosaurs, right?" I nodded confirming her thoughts, but I have no idea where she is going with this.

"Of course!" Koda exclaimed. "Wait... I... uh... what?" Koda asked, confused as he scratched his head. Tyler chuckled a bit at Koda's random outburst. None of us had a clue where she was going with this.

"We found 6 energems but 5 are still lost. Those energems will only be found with the fossils of the pterodactyl, ankylosaurus, pachysaurus, plesiosaurus and titanosaurus. We shouldn't look here just because we've found bones here before." Shelby explained. I nodded, her plan actually made sense. But where would we start to look?

"Okay then, where should we look then?" Tyler asked, voicing my question.

"I don't know exactly where..." Shelby answered. She turns around and walks to the tent again, to look at what she's been working on for the past few hours. "But I have an idea." Shelby spoke up. "Check this out." We all walked towards the tent to see her plans that she's been thinking of. We all gather around the table. "If we combine the known areas with the remaining dinosaurs of where they lived with the energy signals of each dinosaur's energem then we can pinpoint places more accurately to find them." Shelby answered, showing us her plan.

"Energy signatures?" Koda asked and he turned to Chase. "What is Shelby saying?"

"She just doesn't like getting dirty." Chase commented.

"No, what I'm saying is that we need to work smarter. Not harder." Shelby started and I picked up my cup of water for a drink. I noticed right away that my cup was way lighter then they should be if it's supposed to be filled with water. I flipped my cup upside down and no water came out of it. Not even one drop.

"Yeah, actually she might be right about the energy signatures." Riley spoke up, while looking over Shelby's plan. "But how would you ever develop a tracker like that?" Riley asked Shelby. She sits down in her chair and takes a sip out of a different cup of water. Well, that solves the mystery of the missing water from our cups.

"Hey..." Tyler started.

"You finished all of our drinks?" Chase asked in disbelief.

"What? It's really hot out here." Shelby answered. I sighed and set my cup down on the table.

"Yeah, we noticed." I told her.

"Shelby drink like camel." Koda comments.

"Can we at least test my theory?" Shelby asked and I shifted the paper so I could look at it the right way and not upside down. There was silence from all of us, my silence was only because I don't even know how we'd be able to test her theory anyways, the silence from the boys was because they doubted her plan. "Fine then." Shelby starts and stands up. "I don't need anything from any of you." Shelby says and starts to walk away from us, but she stops mid-step. "Bella, I need you to drive me back. I forgot my license in my room." She said, completely contradicting what she said a few moments ago. I nodded.

"Keys?" I asked. Tyler tossed his car keys at me and I caught them easily.

"Don't scratch her." Tyler warned me. I grinned at him.

"I make no promises." I replied, messing with Tyler. I headed to his jeep and Shelby got in as well. As soon as we both put our seatbelts on, I started the car and headed back to the museum. "I don't get it. You all think that my plan won't work." Shelby ranted.

"We never said that. It's just that the boys think that you may not be able to actually find a way to locate other energems and zords." I replied as I continued to drive. "It's a great idea, but how are you going to develop a tracker like that?" I asked as I pulled up at the loading dock. Shelby sighed and climbed out of the jeep.

"Are you coming down?" Shelby asked before she opened the entrance to slide down.

"Nope. I'm gonna take drinks back to the dig site. We don't need our friends to die of dehydration." I joked to her. She stuck her tongue out at me and I smiled. I drove to the back of the museum, where the cafe's back entrance was. I hopped out of the car, with Tyler's keys in hand. I let myself in and the other employees smiled at me.

"Need more drinks?" One of them asked. I nodded.

"Yup. It's such a hot day for a dig." I answered, and grabbed more drinks. Before any one could bring up the fact that I need to pay for them, I spoke up. "Can someone take out 5 drinks from my paycheck?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'll write it down." Someone called from the cash register.

"Awesome, thanks." I thanked them. I headed back out with the drinks in hand. I drove back to the dig site. I turned the jeep off as soon as I got to the dig site. I climbed out and set the drinks down on the table under the tent. "Guys! I brought back some drinks." I shouted to the boys. They looked up and rushed to me, probably very thirsty from the heat and work. Each one grabbed a cup of ice cold water that was theirs, indicated by the straw color. They gulped down the water quickly. "Slow down guys. You're gonna get hiccups." I advised and the 4 of them nodded. I tossed Tyler his keys and he caught them. The boys set their cups down and I walked to the bones that were dug out by the boys. I sipped my water as I instructed the boys how the bones should be laid out so I could figure out what dinosaur we just found. As it came together, I suddenly choked on my drink and started coughing to try and get my breathing back to normal. Tyler was rubbing my back.

"You okay?" Tyler asked. Once I got my breathing back to normal, I nodded.

"I'm fine. Here hold this." I said and shoved my cup into Tyler's hand. He grabbed it and looked at me confused. "Where did you guys find the neck bones?" I asked.

"Over here." Riley said, and motioning to the area. I walked over there and started examining the area.

"You want to tell us why you suddenly started choking on your drink?" Chase asked.

"Oh, yeah. The bones we found this time around are actually ankylosaurus bones." I replied and sat down where the head of the fossil should be.

"You mean, dinosaur bonded to aqua energem?" Koda asked.

"Yeah." I replied and the boys gathered around me as I dug out the head carefully. I brushed the dirt away and carefully pulled the head out of the dirt. I brushed away the rest of the dust and saw no sign of the aqua energem. I sighed and sat down on my bottom with the head of the ankylosaurus in my hands. "Darn it." I mumbled.

"Well, that's a let down." Tyler added. We all grumbled in agreement.

"Does anyone have their Dino com with them?" I asked, cause I don't have mine with me. Tyler pulled his out and passed it to me. I called Kendall, to tell her about our discoveries.

"Go for Kendall." She said after she picked up. "How's the dig going?" She asked me.

"Well, for energems... it sucks cause we haven't found any. But on a museum perspective, great cause we just found an entire ankylosaurus." I answered.

"Really? Well, transfer the bones over here because we can add to the collection of dinosaurs we have in the interactive part of the museum." Kendall ordered. "Got it." I said and mock saluted her. She laughed a little and hung up. I passed back the Dino com back to Tyler. We all got to work and loaded up the bones carefully to take them over to the museum. Once that was finished, we all packed up to head back to the museum. Chase, Koda and Riley drove off in the truck with the bones and bigger supplies. Tyler and I finished loading up his jeep with the smaller supplies and headed back as well. After we pulled up to the loading dock, we unloaded the bones and labeled them as the ankylosaurus bones. We all slid into base.

"Hey, we're back." Riley greeted as the rest of us landed in base. We all let our energems fly into their place in the wall.

"Welcome gentleman and Bella." Shelby greeted us. "Find anything?"

"I think I found poison ivy." Poor Koda says while scratching his back.

"We did find something." Tyler said.

"We found an entire ankylosaurs." Chase said, a bit smug. I noticed that Shelby had a new charger in her hand. Kendall also had some kind of machine in her hands.

"We also had a very successful day." Kendall said.

"Uh... before you guys explain the genius plan that you two came up with, I need to get changed out of these clothes." I spoke up and there were noises of agreements that went around. I headed back to my room to get changed. Once satisfied with how I looked, I headed back to the lab area. Once everyone gathered back in the lab, I motioned Kendall and Shelby to start. "Okay... what's your guys' plan?" I asked, interested how they put Shelby's idea into effect.

"This is the ankylo charger. The brain that charges our new invention." Shelby explained, showing us the aqua charger. "The e-tracer." Shelby finished and showed us their new invention. I rushed over to the lab table and I pushed Riley aside gently to get a better look at it when Shelby plugged in the charger to turn the machine on.

"Let me see that." I said and watched the e-tracer. It booted up and a small satellite looking thing popped up and started scanning areas to look for the aqua energem or the ankylo zord. It booted up and it switched on to connect to the satellite. "You did it." I said, impressed.

"Awesome job." Riley complimented.

"It's connecting to the satellite to try and find an energem signature." Shelby explained to us what the machine was doing. We all crowded around Kendall and Shelby and watched the e-tracer do it's thing.

"It's locking on to something." Kendall pointed out what the e-tracer was finding. "It's definitely the right energy signature, but it can't say if it's an energem." Kendall said and looked away from the e-tracer to look at us. "It might be a zord." Riley leaned down to get a better look at the location of the thing that was found.

"It's not too far away." Riley pointed out.

"Come on guys. This time, we're going to dig in the right place." Shelby said cockily and I smiled and followed her out quickly. I joined her at Tyler's jeep.

"See, I knew that you could do it." I told Shelby. Shelby smiled at me.

"Thanks for not giving up on me." Shelby told me and I smiled at her.

"Never would dream of it." I said. Shelby got in the back of Tyler's jeep and I got into the passenger's seat. The boys loaded up with us and we headed off in the direction of the location that we found. Tyler brought his jeep to a stop at a small woodsy place outside of the city and we all climbed out. Since the location was synched into Shelby's dino com, we all followed her lead as we followed her through the woods to find the location of the thing that they found. "It should be somewhere around here." Shelby stated as the woods started thinning down and opened up to a field area. We got to the field and saw a big hole in the ground. We all looked at it confused, there shouldn't be a hole here if we were theoretically the first ones at this location.

"Holey moley." Chase commented.

"It looks like someone beat us to it." Tyler pointed out. Suddenly there was evil laughing and out jumped monsters from Sledge's ship.

"Surprise!" It growled at us and our defensive instincts turned on quickly. "Posandria sent her regards through me, Stingrage!" The monster shouted at us. Thinking quickly, we all charged towards Stingrage. I punched and kicked my way through the vivix to try and get to Stingrage. Each one of them fell one by one as I fought them. Chase fell down near me, after receiving a blow from Stingrage.

"Don't let him get away! He might have the energem. We still don't know what we found." Chase pointed out. I kicked the last vivix that was left near me and it hit a tree and disintegrated. Taking in Chase's words, Tyler and I sprinted towards Stingrage.

"On it!" I shouted, indicating that we can handle this. I flipped over Tyler and kicked Stingrage in the face, in hopes to see that if he had an energem that he would drop it. Stingrage stumbled back a little, but continued fighting us.

"No sign of an energem!" Riley shouted back at us, indicating that Stringrage didn't get an energem. Tyler and I commenced in the battle between us and him, knowing he did something in that hole. Stingrage cackled evilly as he grabbed both Tyler and I and twisted our arms behind our back to prevent us from attacking him again.

"There might not be an energem but I left something for all of you anyways." Stringrage said and threw the both of us back. We flipped through the air and Riley helped me back up to my feet as I recollected myself after I hit the ground. Tyler was helped back up to his feet with Chase's help and Koda sprang into a fight with Stingrage. Koda flipped back towards us and I pushed Riley out of the way as I saw a vivix trying to attack him from behind. I saw Stingrage attack Koda with a red beam and I kicked the vivix down to the ground. The boys rushed towards Koda while Shelby and I finished off the remaining vivix.

"Koda, are you okay?" Riley asked the blue ranger but he growled at us and kicked them away from him.

"Have fun fighting your friend!" Stingrage shouted and left quickly. We all turned to Koda and tried to figure what's wrong with Koda.

"Not cool man!" Riley shouted at Koda and tried tackling him, but Koda only flipped him over his shoulders. Riley fell to the ground roughly and Tyler tried to knock some sense into Koda while I helped Riley up to his feet. Koda threw Tyler up into the air and Chase jumped underneath Tyler and broke his fall. Shelby helped the pair up.

"What the heck has gotten into him?" I asked. "Koda?" I asked and almost landed a punch on him except he pushed me away. Shelby tried to talk to Koda, but he only punched at her and caused Shelby to flip backwards in defense.

"Get him on the ground!" Tyler decided and he and Chase tried tackling him down to the ground but it didn't work as he flipped back up and kicked Shelby and I away from him.

"There's something on his back!" Chase pointed out. "That's what's causing you to act like this, mate!" He told Koda. Chase and Tyler went at it again to attempt to tackle him but Koda pushed them off of him. Riley and Chase teamed up this time and grabbed Koda's arms.

"It's some kind of stinger!" Riley informed us. "Pull it out!" He shouted to me as Tyler and Shelby got a hold of Koda as well and tried to get him from moving a whole lot. I sprinted towards the struggling group to pull the stinger out.

"Hold still!" I shouted at them and I grabbed the stinger and pulled it out of Koda's back quickly. Koda's actions started to get less aggressive.

"Guys..." Koda started and everyone let go of Koda.

"Koda are you okay now?" Chase asked Koda. He nodded.

"Yes. I okay. Why you hugging..." Koda started but trailed off as he saw the red and yellow stinger in my hand. The ground shook wildly and the ankylo zord came out of the hole in the ground. We looked at it in awe.

"It's the ankylo zord..." Shelby breathed out. It roared into the sky.

"That's one angry zord." Tyler pointed out. The ankylo zord turned towards us and roared again. It spun around and slammed it's tail down on the ground. We all jumped out of the way just in time to avoid the hammer that could easily flatten us. "That was a close one..."

"Why would the ankylo zord attack us?" I asked, wondering why it attacked us. We all reached base, defeated and confused. We all sat around the table, wondering what to do. Kendall was trying to figure out why the ankylo zord attacked us. From what Keeper has told us, bonded energems and zords all react friendly with the other ones. "Well we know that the ankylo zord is awake, so that means that the aqua energem bonded to someone." Riley brought up and I nodded, agreeing with his point.

"You mean that there is an aqua power ranger out there?" Shelby asked, still depressed from the fact that the zord was no longer in our control.

"That is correct, but they might not know that we exist. Or may have chosen for some reason not to join us yet." Keeper explained to us. "What is important now is the ankylo zord. It shares the power of the aqua energem's power and would not normally attack us."

"Maybe monster sting zord." Koda spoke up, getting up from his seat and pointing to the stinger that I had placed in a glass casing to keep it from stinging anyone else and for future reference, if needed. "Like it sting me."

"That would explain it." Tyler said, agreeing with Koda.

"If so, then we would need to remove it." Riley said.

"Good luck." Chase muttered. "Did you see the size of that thing?" Shelby suddenly got up from her seat.

"I'll do it." Shelby stated.

"No way, it's too dangerous." I pointed out, clearly not happy that one of my best friend is going to go do something stupid to put her life at risk.

"Someone has to do it. Besides, it's my stupid e-tracer that somehow messed up and gave away the zord's location to Sledge." Shelby said and was about to walk away before Kendall spoke up.

"Actually, your device worked brilliantly. Sledge got the zord's location because I didn't encrypt the e-tracer's code. It's my fault that we lost control of the ankylo zord." Kendall explained. "Somehow, I'll find a solution." Kendall finished and walked out of base, with Shelby following her. Everyone looked at me, to see what they should do.

"I'm going to talk to them and try and keep them from making any rash decisions." I said and I walked out of base as well. I got up to the loading dock and saw Kendall loading things to a truck and I hurried to Shelby's side, where she stood behind the truck, when Kendall wasn't looking. "We're going to go help her, aren't we?" I asked.

"You bet we are." Shelby said and we both climbed into the back of the truck before Kendall got back. We hid ourselves underneath the tarp that was draped over the back. We felt the truck roar to life and Kendall drove to the location of ankylo zord's habitat. The truck slowed to a stop and the tarp above Shelby and I was pulled off of us. Kendall jumped slightly at the fact that we were in the back of the truck.

"Good grief. Stowing away on a truck again is really a bad idea." Kendall told Shelby and we both sat up.

"Yeah... But going after the ankylo zord alone is also a very bad idea." I told her and we hopped down to our feet while Kendall unloaded some things.

"I rarely make mistakes. So when I do, I correct them." Kendall said. "No excuses."

"Look, we created this problem together so let's solve it together." Shelby told Kendall. "With help from Bella." Kendall tied the rope to the tree and walked over to the hole. Shelby and I followed the stubborn scientist. She tossed the rope down into the hole.

"I simply cannot be responsible for sending either of you down this hole." Kendall said. "It's just too dangerous." Before either of us could say a word, evil cackling interrupted us. We turned around and saw Stingrage with Poisandra and vivixs.

"Maybe you can't, but I can." Stingrage said and he attacked us with orange laser beams. Thinking quickly, Shelby and I pushed Kendall out of the way.

"Watch out!" Shelby shouted as Kendall rolled away from us. The laser beams interrupted mine and Shelby's footing and we fell into the hole.

"Energize!" Shelby and I shouted in unison as we managed to activate our dino chargers and put them into our dino morpher blasters. Just in time that we morphed, we landed at the bottom of the hole. We both stood up and brushed the dust off of us.

"That hurt." Shelby commented, her voice echoing in the hole.

"Yeah, no kidding." I said. "It was a good thing that we could morph." I added. Shelby made a noise of agreement and our attention was brought back by angry growling. We turned towards the noise and saw the glowing red eyes of the ankylo zord. "The ankylo zord..." He approached us, making his way towards us. "Hello ankylo zord." I started, as he got closer to us. I swallowed hard and continued, trying to make my voice as steady as possible. "You're a vegetarian, remember?" "Bella, there's the stinger." Shelby pointed out the red stinger that was attached to the side of ankylo zord's neck. The ankylo zord growled at us and started charging towards us.

"I'll distract, you get the stinger!" I said and we both jumped out of the way of the ankylo zord after he charged at us.

"Got it!" Shelby shouted back, as we continued to try and get the aqua power back on our side.

Meanwhile On Ground Floor

Third Person's POV

Kendall looked at the hole where Shelby and Bella were previously standing. "Hole in one Stingrage." Posindra said, while clapping her hands in excitement.

"Vivix, attack the near sighted scientist!" Stingrage commanded the vivix. The vivix followed the monster's command and charged at Kendall. Thinking quickly, Kendall ran to the shovel and pulled it out of the ground. She began attacking the vivix to protect herself.

"Get away from me!" She said angrily and smacked another vivix in the stomach before another kicked her back. She continued to work her way through the vivix and she ducked and rolled away from a group of them. "Gotta run." She said and ran away quickly. Kendall sprinted through the woods area.

"Get that weakling!" Posinadra shouted at the vivix and they started chasing Kendall towards the street. Kendall continued to fight her way through the vivix, until Stingrage attacked her suddenly. Kendall was thrown to the street.

"Sit right there and it will all be over." Stingrage told Kendall.

"Destroy her." Posinadra commanded.

"Gladly." Stingrage says, a bit smug. He goes to attack Kendall, but Tyler gets there just in time.

"Not so fast" Tyler says and he deflects the attack with the shovel that Kendall used minutes before to defend herself. "Nice job Miss Morgan." Tyler complimented the scientist as he remembered his first fight with one of Sledge's monsters and how he used a shovel to defend himself and Shelby. The others rushed towards the two, catching up to Tyler.

"There they are." Riley pointed out.

"Kendall, you okay?" Koda asked Kendall and bent down to her level. He pulled Kendall up to her feet.

"I'm fine, thank you. But Shelby and Bella fell down the hole." Kendall informed the Rangers.

"They're down there with the ankylo zord?" Tyler asks, worried about his friends. "Oh no! Bella!" He shouts and starts to run in the direction of the ankylo zord habitat, but he gets cut off by Stingrage, preventing Tyler from reaching the Ankylo zord.

Back in the Ankylo Zord Habitat

Bella's POV

I jumped out of the way again, to avoid an attack from the Ankylo Zord again. I saw Shelby trying to jump onto the neck of the zord so she could pull the stinger out, but the Ankylo zord moved away quickly. "Shelby, try the rope!" I suggested, noticing the rope that Kendall had thrown down earlier.

"Good idea! Try getting him there!" She shouted back and climbed up on the rope. I run towards the rope and slide to hide behind a rock and the ankylo zord follows me. As soon as he's close enough to Shelby, she jumps down from the rope and lands on the Ankylo zord's neck. She pulls the stinger out before the Ankylo zord could attack me again. The burning red eyes fade to their normal color and Shelby joins me on the ground. The Ankylo zord nudges both of us with his nose and we both laugh. "It's good to have you back on our side again." Shelby told the zord.

"Agreed, now let's go help our friends." I state and we both climb on to the Ankylo zord's back to ride out of the hole. Once we got to the top, all the attention was turned to us.

"You're done Stingrage, you've stung your last victim!" Shelby claims while patting the Ankylo zord's head.

"Dino morpher blast!" Both of us say together and we jumped off of the Ankylo zord and aimed our blasters at the group of monsters. They all fell back and Shelby and I landed in front of the others, who picked themselves up to their feet.

"I hope that stings." Shelby commented, making a bit of a pun.

"Shelby! Bella, you're both okay." Tyler said with relief in his voice.

"Yup. Shelby got the stinger out." I informed everyone. "Really! That's great!" Chase commented.

"Guess that I'm just working too hard." Shelby said and we all laughed.

"This time we work smarter." Koda said, agreeing with what Shelby had asked this morning while we were on our dig.

"That's right." Shelby said, glad that they were listening now.

"I was worried about you." Tyler said to me, and I felt my cheeks heat a bit underneath the helmet.

"Yeah, you should've been." I started, trying to stay cool about it. "This looked like it was a close call till the both of us showed up."

"Now let's finish this." Shelby exclaimed.

"Let's do this!" Riley added.

"Tyrannosaurus Rex, Power Ranger Red!" Tyler introduced himself.

"Parasaur, Power Ranger Black!" Chase introduced himself after Tyler.

"Stegosaurus, Power Ranger Blue!" Koda continued.

"Brachiosaurus, Power Ranger Yellow!" I said after Koda.

"Velociraptor, Power Ranger Green!" Riley said.

"Triceratops, Power Ranger Pink!" Shelby finished.

"Power Rangers Dino Charge!" We said in unison and took our final stances.

"I'll take down Stingrage." Shelby said, claiming she wants to teach this monster a lesson.

"Vivix attack!" Poisonadra said, commanding the vivix behind them. We all charge into battle. A small group surrounded me and I skillfully kicked and punched the vivix one by one. The vivix are all soon taken down by the rest of us and I see just in time that Stingrage was defeated by Shelby. We all rush to her side. Before I could even compliment Shelby, a bright blue magna beam fell onto the place where Stingrage exploded.

"They seriously don't give up, do they?" I ask, slightly annoyed at the mega monster process.

"Time to call in some zords." Tyler said, as he summoned his zords. Rexy joins us and starts to fight Stingrage, but isn't managing to get an effective hit on Stingrage.

"We need to smash him." Koda said and an idea perked in my head.

"Good idea. Shelby call the Ankylo zord." I suggested to the pink ranger.

"You think he'll respond to her?" Riley asked me. I nodded my head.

"Sure, he owes me a favor." Shelby replied. "Summon Ankylo zord, Tri-Ankylo formation!" She summoned the new formation of our megazord. Once the megazord formed, we all transported to the cockpit of the zord. "That's what you're going to fight me with? This is going to be easy!" Stingrage says cockily. We charge at Stingrage, while blocking his laser attacks. Once we get close enough, Shelby uses Tricera to attack Stingrage.

"Tricera zord, power drill." Shelby says, and drilled at Stingrage. We find an opening and get ready to attack.

"Ankylo zord, hammer punch!" We all summoned the attack and followed through with the motion and Ankylo zord hit Stingrage, causing him to stumble back.

"Ankylo Zord, very strong." Koda said as we realized that this zord packs quite a punch.

"We got this guy on the ropes." Chase adds, confidently.

"Let's squash this insect!" Tyler says and we all get into position again.

"Ankylo zord, final..." We all started, while the megazord followed our actions to spin around and repeatedly and kept hitting Stingrage with the Ankylo zord. "Hammer punch!" We summoned the final attack. That destroyed Stingrage once and for all.

"Welcome to the family Ankylo zord." I welcomed the new zord.

"Monster extinct." Tyler said, claiming our victory. We all demorphed and let the zords go back to their homes. We headed back to the cafe, Riley and Shelby went down to base to assist Kendall to fix the e-tracer. The rest of us covered a short shift at the cafe and ultimately decided to take a break. We were sitting at a table when Riley joined us.

"So... Kendall fixed the e-tracer." Riley informed us. "Sledge can't steal our data anymore."

"Once we find the other energems..." Chase started but Tyler and I cleared our throats, noticing when another cafe member approached us. Chase trailed off, when the waitress came over to us and she served us drinks.

"Thanks, Danica!" I thanked the waitress. She smiled at me and headed back to the kitchen. Chase didn't continue what he was saying as he was checking Danica out. I rolled my eyes at his actions. Tyler and I shared a slightly annoyed look and cleared our throats again, gaining Chase's attention.

"Once we find the other energems, I'm gonna head home. See my mom and sister in New Zealand." Chase continued his thought.

"Man, it is so hot out..." Shelby whined and sat down at the end of the table. We all move our drinks away from Shelby in a joking manner. "Very funny." Shelby said, in a monotone voice.

"Really, your invention is going to help our search a lot. I mean, it's genius." Riley complimented Shelby. She smiled.

"My grandfather, famous caveman." Koda starts and grabs a piece of menu paper and pencil. "He invented very complicated machine." Koda explains while drawing something on the piece of paper.

"Really?" Shelby asked, her interest peaking.

"It called wheel." Koda finishes and holds up the drawing. We all laugh just as Kendall walks into the cafe and towards us.

"We crushed it Kendall." Shelby tells Kendall and she nods, in acknowledgement.

"Yes, we did crush it. Because of your recent invention, the museum wants to give you a fossil from your favorite dinosaur." Kendall tells Shelby and motions to the baby pink box in her hands.

"A triceratops fossil!" Shelby exclaimed and snatched the box from Kendall's hands. She rips the lid off and pulls out a feces fossil of the triceratops. I bite my bottom lip in an attempt to hide my smile. "I uh... don't recognize this bone." Shelby says, looking at the fossil.

"That's not bone. That is poop." Koda corrects Shelby and the rest of us try to contain our giggles.

"Yes Koda, it is a very rare specimen." Kendall says, a tiny bit annoyed at the description.

"Dino dung! Ew..." Shelby exclaims and drops the fossil to the ground. It shatters into a lot of pieces.

"Now lots of rare specimen." Koda joked and we all burst into laughter, all expect Shelby and Kendall. Shelby rubs her hands against Koda's arm and he looks shocked and the rest of us laugh even harder.
