Tyler's POV

We were out in the woods, an area where we could try and track energems or zords with the e-tracer. Shelby and Riley set up a small table and opened up the e-tracer, Chase was doing something with flowers while sitting on a log, Koda was up in a tree to keep watch and Bella had brought her camera to take pictures while we waited for results from the e-tracer. I leaned back against a tree, the same one which Koda was perched in, and pulled out my journal. I decided I should write a new entry, seeing that I haven't written an entry in a while. I flip open to a new page that was marked by a picture of my dad and I when I was younger. I looked at the picture longingly, only wanting to see my dad once more and find out what happened to him. I lower my pen to the page to start the entry.

I miss you so much Dad. I even still wear your bracelet, keeping it safe until I finally find you. Today is June 10th, being a ranger is not easy. But we've got a great team, even though Chase gets distracted by girls sometimes.

I glanced up while writing and saw Chase pulling petals off of flowers. "Monica loves me..." Chase started and pulled off the last petal. "Monica loves me not..." He shrugs and tosses the stem behind him. "Oh well, Monica's loss. Tina loves me..." He said and started on another flower. I look back down at the page and continue to write.

He definitely has our backs. Riley is always analyzing things and training, he makes me try harder, too.

I look up and see Riley and Shelby talking to each other as the e-tracer starts up. "I calibrated the e-tracer to search for energems left to right." He tells Shelby.

Shelby is really smart and is always pushing for all of us to do our best.

"No, not left to right. I already calibrated it to search right to left." Shelby says and pushes Riley aside towards Bella.

And she's kind of stubborn.

Bella turns around and helps Riley sit up. "Careful Shelby. Riley could've gotten hurt. Riley, Shelby is right about searching for the gold energem or the Ptera zord from right to left. It will work better to detect the energy signatures better." Bella explained to both the pink and green rangers.

Bella is back in Amber Beach, and it's made me realize how much I've missed Bella over the years. She's really smart too and caring. And hey... I think she's cute.

I glanced up at Koda, who was focused on keeping watch and using his instincts.

Koda... you won't believe how strong his animal instincts are.

I can't stop thinking that Fury had something to do with your disappearance, nothing is going to stop me from finding you Dad.

Bella's POV

I was struck by Tyler's thoughts and started blushing when Koda suddenly jumped down from the tree that he was sitting in and landed next to Tyler. "Koda... I asked you to stop doing that." Tyler whined, obviously being frightened when Koda jumped down from the tree. "Tyler... you smell?" Koda asked and Tyler looked at him confused as Tyler smelled himself, thinking that he was the one who smelled bad.

"I do?" Tyler asked.

"No, the air... Smell." Koda said and the two of them stood up. Suddenly, Tyler's dino com goes off and he picks it up.

"Alien bio signs in the area where you guys are." Kendall said and I instantly shove my camera back into its bag and sling it over my shoulder like a cross body bag and I pull out my dino morpher blaster. Chase and I got ready to shoot any monsters if we see them. We can't risk anything when it comes to keeping the e-tracer out of Sledge's hands.

"Hey... Shut down the e-tracer." Tyler commanded Shelby and Riley, going into ranger mode. "We need to get out of here, now." Tyler puts on his backpack and Riley hands him the e-tracer case once it shuts down.

"Careful, it's irreplaceable." Shelby told Tyler.

"Start the jeep. We're right behind you." Riley informed Tyler.

"Come on. Chase, Koda, the three of us can check if there is anyone further out. Shelby and Riley, you two clean up here and secure the area. We'll meet back up at the jeep in a few minutes." I said, and they all nodded and Tyler rushed to his jeep. Chase, Koda and I ran off in different directions, to look for anyone that could've closed in on us. Suddenly, my dino com went off and I saw that Chase was calling all of us in a group call.

"Found some vivix over here. There are too many for me to handle by myself. I could use some backup." Chase informed us.

"On our way." Shelby said for all of us and I headed towards Chase. Once I arrived, I saw the others blasting vivix. I joined in and shot my way through the vivix, until they all disintegrated. "Come on, we should get back to Tyler." Shelby said and we all ran to where Tyler had parked the jeep. Upon arriving, Tyler wasn't there and him or his jeep were nowhere in sight. "That's weird, Tyler wouldn't just leave us here."

"I'm going to call him." I said and called Tyler. As soon as he picked up, I spoke up. "Hey, not cool." I started.

"Bella?" He asked, not paying much attention to the call.

"You just took off and left us." I stated.

"What? I'm looking right..." Tyler started but trailed off when he saw something else. "At you." How could he be with me if I'm here with the others? The call was cut off and I looked at my dino com confused. I tried calling Tyler again, but he didn't pick up the call.

"Let's head back to base. We can find him with the tracking equipment." Riley said and I nodded. We headed to base and I called Kendall along the way to inform her what happened and that we couldn't get into contact with Tyler. Along the way, I kept calling Tyler and I got more and more worried for him as he usually doesn't miss this many calls. I sighed and put my dino com into my pocket and we all headed down into the base. As our energems flew into their places, Koda spoke up.

"You find Tyler?" Koda asked Kendall and Keeper, who were busy trying to track him after we told them what happened. I pulled my camera bag off and set it down on the lab table, deciding that I'll take it to my room later. "No, he still isn't responding." Kendall said and I bit my bottom lip in worry.

"I'll scan the city for alien DNA." Riley said, walking up to the computer. "There has to be some type of connection."

"When I talked to him, Tyler thought that he was with us." I told the others, still confused from the conversation that we had earlier before he stopped picking up our calls.

"Well... Whoever he was with, they were fooling him." Shelby added. Suddenly, the siren went off and a red dot appeared on the holographic map in front us.

"Alien bio signs detected in the city complex." Riley informed us of the location as the map zoomed in on the city.

"Then we go there, yes?" Koda asked.

"Maybe we should split up. I could go back to the woods and retrace our steps to see if I can find Tyler." I said quickly.

"Yeah, I'll go with you." Chase said and he started to follow me out but Keeper stopped us.

"No, Kendall and I will continue to search for Tyler. You all must work together to find the e-tracer." Keeper told us. "Before Sledge can locate the gold energem." Keeper pointed out and I nodded, agreeing.

"Keeper is right. We need to work together as a team. We need to find the e-tracer." Shelby said. "Plus, like you always say Lex, Tyler is going to come back." She reassured me and I smiled at her, grateful for the pick-me-up.

"Let's get moving then." Chase said and we all headed out and grabbed our energems along the way to go to the city complex. We morphed once we reached the city complex and started looking for aliens that we had picked up. We regrouped by the park. "This was the location where Kendall detected alien bio signs."

"It's a big area, we need to keep looking." Chase said.

"Be careful." Koda told us and we nodded.

"Let's go." Riley said and we all split up again to find the aliens. We regrouped again after about 10 minutes, still not finding anything.

"I've got nothing." Chase informed us and I nodded in agreement.

"Koda, did you see anything from that tree?" Shelby asked Koda.

"No, just very angry squirrel." Koda said, motioning to this hand that was hurt from the squirrel he encountered earlier.

"Uh... Hey, isn't that us?" Riley asked. We turned around to see 5 rangers that looked exactly like us. "Whoa, I look pretty sweet." Chase commented on the duplicate black ranger. The group of clone rangers stopped running.

"Of course, clone rangers. That's why Tyler thought he was with us." I said, realizing why Tyler thought he was with us earlier. Along with the clone rangers, vivix surrounded them and they started fighting the vivix as well and they moved towards us. I started punching and kicking the vivix, completely unsure who was a real ranger and who was a fake ranger. I was about to accidentally punch Koda, but he had caught my fist to keep me from punching him. "Whops, sorry Koda." I apologized, but that suddenly backfired as Koda turned out to be a clone ranger as he punched me in the stomach. I stumbled back a couple feet, surprised from the attack.

"You might look like us, but you are not as smart!" Chase exclaimed and he started shooting around the crowd, hitting the vivix and some of the clone rangers. I shrieked when a laser got a little to close, blasting a ranger that was near me. Chase finally stopped. All of the vivix disintegrated and half of the rangers fell to the ground. I looked around in awe when I realized that the rangers on the ground were the clone rangers.

"Chase...?" Shelby started to ask, but was unable to finish her sentence, still in awe of what just happened.

"How did you know who was who?" Riley asked, voicing the question that was on all of our minds.

"I slipped these into your belt." Chase said and pointed out the white daisies that were perched into all of our belts that we didn't even notice were there.

"You're so clever." Shelby commented.

"Now we show what real rangers do." Koda said and we all nodded.

"Right, let's finish these imposters." I said and we all stood back to back, facing a clone ranger. I was facing the clone green ranger and we all loaded up our dino morpher blasters with our dino steel chargers.

"Dino steel, armor on!" We called for our armor and rolled the barrels of our dino morpher blasters on our arm and waited a few seconds for our armor and designated weapon to form. We all took off at the clone rangers.

"You can fake the look..." Chase started and I blasted the clone green ranger with my bow.

"But..." Shelby added.

"You can't..." Riley added onto Shelby's add on. I kicked the clone green ranger in the back, causing him to stumble.

"Fake..." Koda said.

"The skills..." I said and we all pushed the clone rangers in the middle, all of them next to each other.

"Of real rangers." We all finished our thoughts together. The clone Rangers changed to vivix and the vivix disintegrated.

"Hey guys." Kendall started, popping up on a small screen in all of our helmets to give us a video message. "Tyler made contact with us, and he's on his way." Before any of us could respond to the good news, a voice cut us off.

"No! All of my clone rangers are gone!" A monster shouted in agony and we all pulled the daisies out of our belts and tossed them behind us.

"Nothing but the originals." Chase commented.

"So I'll destroy you all with the wrath of Duplicon!" Duplicon shouted at us in third person. He aimed his attack at us. Koda acted quickly and shielded us with his Stego shield.

"Stego shield!" He summoned. The waves of the attack were blocked with Koda's shield. "I think, I can break through!" Koda grunted and broke through the waves of attack from Duplicon. The rest of us acted quickly, not giving Dupilcon any reaction time to attack us again.

"Tricera drill!" Shelby shouted and jumped into action.

"Raptor claw!" Riley exclaimed his attack as well, joining Shelby. The two of them attacked Duplicon, combining their dino spirits. Duplicon stumbled back a bit, but it showed us that it's going to take something stronger to take him down.

"That's all you got?" Duplicon asked mockingly. Chase took a leisurely stance and leaned casually against Koda and I took my proper stance. "Try a Para chopper blast." Chase suggested mockingly.

"And a Brachi bow blast." I added and the two of us combined our powers and blasted Duplicon together. Duplicon flew back and rolled a few feet.

"I need more clone rangers!" Duplicon said. He struggled back to his feet and vivix surrounded him. "Meet your match!" He said and was about to make the vivix clone rangers again.

"Not so fast!" Chase exclaimed and he and I blasted him with our weapons and the others blasted him with their Dino morpher blasters to prevent Duplicon from making more clone rangers. They all flew away from each other.

"We need to destroy him now, or he'll keep making clones." Shelby pointed out our issue.

"We need to use the dino spike." Chase agreed with Shelby.

"But it takes all 6 of us, remember." Riley pointed out.

"We need Tyler." Koda added.

"No time for that!" Duplicon shouted once he recollected himself. We all looked up at him, and took our stances to fight him again. The others covered me so I could give Tyler a call. Knowing that Tyler should've been here by now, considering the time that Kendall called us was a little while ago, I pulled out my dino com to call Tyler. Just as Tyler picked up, he didn't even get a word out before I started talking.

"Tyler, we need you right now. We can't beat this monster without you. We need to use the dino spike!" I said, and ducked an attack from Duplicon. I hung up the call and I kicked Duplicon's knee, causing him to fall. He recovered quickly and we all charged at Duplicon again, trying to land a good attack on him. When Tyler didn't show, I called him up again. "Tyler, we need you." I said and Duplicon hit me with his stamp staff unexpectedly and I fell back a few feet and landed on my bottom. "Now would be a good time." I groaned into the dino com.

"We can't take much more of this." Shelby said, after trying to attack Duplicon. Chase and Riley landed next to me as well. Koda and Shelby also were attacked and knocked back to us. We all took quite a beating from the monster. We all pulled ourselves back to our feet to be ready for his next attack.

"Back off Red!" Duplicon shouted and we all turned around to see Tyler, already morphed, running towards us.

"You know what to do!" Tyler told us and we all nodded firmly. We got ready as Tyler pulled out the Dino Spike charger. "Dino charger ready, weapons combine!" He shouted and threw the activated charger into the air. While our weapons combined, the 5 of us made a basket with our arms. Tyler jumped up and into our basket.

"Red ranger launch!" We said and launched Tyler up into the air to grab the dino spike.

"Dino spike, final strike!" Tyler said and aimed that attack directly on Duplicon. Duplicon shouted in agony and exploded on the spot. I turned to Tyler.

"Thank god you're okay!" I told the red ranger and gave him a tight hug. Tyler wrapped his free arm around my waist, pulling me close.

"Great timing." Chase said, once I pulled away. Tyler kept an arm wrapped around my waist, preventing me from pulling away completely. Shelby nudged me teasingly when our hug lasted a little too long and with his arm still wrapped around me. I swatted her hand away.

"We worried." Koda said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"You got that right." Shelby commented.

"No one splits us up!" Riley said, clearly happy of our accomplishment today.

"We've got to stop Poisandra from tracking down the gold energem or the Ptera zord." Tyler pointed out our next goal.

"There she is!" Riley pointed out and we saw Poisandra with Wrench and Curio. They were with the e-tracer and it looked like they've been working hard to figure out how to work it. Before we could make any moves and get the e-tracer back from Poisandra, a magna-beam came down from the sky and to the place where Duplicon exploded.

"I can clone giants now! Vivix!" Duplicon commanded after he grew bigger than before. Vivix pushed past us and they combined into a vivazord. "You rangers want me, you have to get through a giant Fury first!" Duplicon said and cloned a giant Fury. The Fury clone launched his sword down at us and we all ran out of the way just in time before the sword hit the ground. Rexy made his appearance, wanting to protect the person with the same bond.

"Nice entrance Rexy!" Tyler told his zord. "Dino charger, ready!" Tyler said and activated the dino charger. He threw it to Rexy, who was now powered up. "Tri-Stego formation." He suggested, looking at Koda and Shelby. They nodded and activated their chargers to summon their zords. Zords Combine

We all transported to the cockpit once the megazord formed. Suddenly, Duplicon and clone Fury attacked us. We were all shaken around, trying to maintain our footing. "They're attacking from both sides." Tyler said.

"We won't be able to take much more of this if it keeps up." I pointed out. Our stands rang and we picked up the call from Kendall.

"Go ahead Kendall." Tyler told her.

"Bella, give Tyler dino charger number 17 to activate for Rexy." Kendall informed me, since I was the one who carried that charger because we both worked on creating that charger. "It will release the toxic gases of the dinos."

"Did she just say what I think she just said?" Shelby asked, kind of not believing what she just heard.

"Toxic gases?" Riley asked.

"You mean fart gas?" Koda asked Kendall.

"You can call it that." Kendall clarified.

"Man... You and Bella think of everything." Chase complimented Kendall.

"Let's give it a shot. Bella, charger please." Tyler asked me.

"Sure thing, here." I said and tossed the charger to Tyler. He caught it easily and activated the charger.

"Dino gas charger, ready!" He said and threw it out so it would load into Rexy. The charger activated and the gases were launched on Duplicon and clone Fury.

"My eyes! It's stinging my eyes!" Duplicon complained from the attack. Chase chuckled.

"That's one nasty move." He commented and I made a noise of agreement, the smell of the charger seeping its way into the cockpit.

"Aww... Smell very bad." Koda complained.

"Alright, let's finish this." Tyler said and we all took our stances again.

"We need the Ankylo zord to crush these fakes." Shelby said and pulled out an aqua charger. "Dino charger, ready! Summon Ankylo zord!" She summoned the zord and Ankylo zord took the place of the Stego zord on our megazord.

"Ankylo zord, hammer punch!" We summoned the attack and punched clone Fury. He turned back into a vivizord.

"Tricera drill!" Shelby said and drilled the vivazord and it disintegrated.

"Ankylo zord, final hammer punch!" We summoned the final attack and Duplicon exploded from our attacks.

"Monster extinct." Tyler claimed our partial victory. We still need to stop Poisandra. We all let the zords go back and we rushed back towards the place where we spotted Poisandra, Wrench and Curio. There it looked like Fury was arguing with Poisandra and he took the e-tracer from her. He started to walk away from a furious Poisandra.

"Fury is gonna leave with the e-tracer." I said.

"We can't let him take it." Riley said. "Chase, you're the only one capable to hit it from here." Tyler told the black ranger.

"Got it." He said and pulled out his dino morpher blaster and combined it with his dino saber after he loaded it with a charger.

"But my e-tracer..." Shelby pointed out.

"Sorry Shelby. If Sledge gets it, he'll find all of the lost energems." Tyler pointed out.

"It okay Shelby." Koda tried to reassure Shelby. Chase took his stance with is dino morpher blaster. It powered up and he took the shot and destroyed the e-tracer. Fury yelled in defeat when the e-tracer fell to the ground in pieces.

"Nice job, hot shot." Tyler complimented Chase. Fury looked at the remains of the e-tracer and pulled something out of it. "What is he doing?" Tyler asked.

"You didn't destroy it all Rangers." Fury said and turned to face us. "I'll be able to control the Ptera zord with this!" Fury said and held up the Ptera charger.

"Oh no!" We all said in defeat. Fury turned away from us and took off. Poisandra, Wrench and Curio went off in another direction, complaining about Fury. Shelby walked up the railing and jumped over to get the remains of e-tracer. The boys headed back to base and I started to go up to where Shelby now was. I climbed up the railing and jumped over it to land on the platform where Shelby was. We bent down to the e-tracer's level and demorphed.

"Well, I guess we're going to have to look for energems the old fashioned way." Shelby said and she picked up the pieces of the e-tracer.

"Yeah. Let's head back to base, okay? We can decide what we want to do about Fury knowing where the Ptera zord's location together." I told Shelby and she nodded. We headed back towards base. Along the way, I saw something glimmering in the sunlight. "What's that?" I asked and bent down to pick up a leather bracelet with a single charm on it.

"A bracelet?" Shelby asked. I stood up with the bracelet in hand.

"It's Tyler's dad's bracelet." I answered once I realized who it belonged to. I stuffed it into my pocket. Shelby didn't question it and we headed back towards base. Once we got there, I twisted the tooth of the T-Rex head, and went down the slide. Shelby followed and we joined everyone else at the base. I stood by the table with Chase, Koda and Riley. Tyler was standing near it and Shelby walked to the lab table.

"The e-tracer may have given Fury the location of the Ptera zord." Shelby informed Kendall, while putting the remains of the e-tracer on the lab table. "And he got the Ptera charger."

"Even if he manages to find the zord, that charger doesn't have enough power to put the zord into battle mode." Kendall says, trying to reassure the rest of us that Fury can't really do anything when he finds the zord. "And they don't have the technology to charge it." Kendall and Shelby joined us at the table with Keeper.

"I should've known those clone Rangers were fakes. There's nobody like you guys." Tyler said, a bit frustrated at himself for believing the trap. We all smiled at him.

"The e-tracer was destroyed, but you all worked as a team. If you had not, then it would now be in Sledge's hands." Keeper told us, proud of what we accomplished today.

"Keeper's right. We're united, Sledge, Fury, Poisandra, they're all divided." Chase added.

"That's why we'll win, because of our teamwork." Riley also added. I dig into my pocket and pull out the bracelet.

"Tyler, I have something for you." I brought his attention to me. I show him his dad's bracelet that I found a little while ago.

"You found my Dad's bracelet." Tyler said, relieved that a part of his dad is still with him. Tyler offers his wrist to me and I wrap and tie the bracelet securely around his wrist, so he doesn't lose it ever again. "Thanks." Tyler tells me, looking up from the bracelet and up at me. I smiled at him, my cheeks burning when I realized that the team was smirking at us.

"No problem." I reply and drop his wrist.

"When I was fighting Fury today, he suddenly froze up as if he lost control. I swear, something was inside of him trying to break free." Tyler explained to us the events that he experienced today.

"Maybe it's his fun side trying to get out." Chase joked, successfully lighting up the mood in the room.

"Whatever it is, we take on. Together." Koda said and offered his hand. We all smiled.

"That's right Koda." Shelby voiced our thoughts and we all stacked our hands on top one another.

"Together." We all said in unison.
