Riley POV

I was on my run when vivix appeared out of nowhere. I started fighting them. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw 2 vivix grabbed rope. Thn I looked down at my wrist when I felt it tugged. There was rope around it. I tried to get it off but the vivix threw rope on my left wrist. The vivix walked behind me which cause my arms to go behind my back. One came up behind me and tied another piece of rope around my wrists. Then it kicked me in the bend of my leg which caused me to fall to my knees. Fury walked out of nowhere and I mumbled to myself.

"I thought you were supposed to be smart ranger", Fury said.

"Yeah, and I thought you were supposed to be a smart monster", I said.

"You aren't helping yourself ranger", Fury said.

"I know", I said.

"And you won't get away with this", I shouted and pulled on the ropes.

"I already have", Fury said and then the vivix put a cloth in my mouth.

Fury walked up to me and hit me over the head with his sword. I fell to the side and everything went black.

Shelby POV

It was 11:30 a.m. No one has seen or heard from Riley. Kendall walked up to me, Annabeth, Chase, and Tyler.

"Take the dino cycles and ride around and see if you can find Riley", Kendall said.

"Lets go", Tyler said.

We walked outside and called for the dino cycles.

"Unleash the power", we said and morphed.

"Dino cycle, Rev up", we said and 4 dino cycles appeared in front of us.

"Sweet", Annabeth said as we hopped on.

"If we split up we can cover more ground", Tyler said.

"Yeah", Chase said.

Me and Annabeth went together and Chase and Tyler went together.

"Annabeth, I am worried", I said.

"I am too. He is like an older brother to me. We'll find him. No matter what", Annabeth said as we went back to the museum. We got there and Tyler and Chase were demorphed near the loading dock. We demorphed.

"Did you guys find anything", I said.

"Nope. You", Chase said.

"Nothing", Annabeth said.

"Riley were are you", I said to myself.

Riley POV

My eyes opened and my head still hurts from when Fury hit me with his sword. I looked around and realized I was in the abandoned subway station. I looked up to see my hands were tied above my head and I was standing. I tried to yell but all that came out were muffled sounds.

"Great I still have that cloth in my mouth", I said to myself as Fury walked in.

A vivix walked over and took the cloth out of my mouth. I pulled on the ropes. When I did the rope got tighter around my wrists. I winced in pain.

"I wouldn't struggle or pull on the rope, if I was you ranger. Everytime you do that rope will get tighter", Fury said and I pulled on the ropes again and this time I felt something run down my right arm. It was blood.

"My friends will find me", I said a I felt angry build up inside.

"They probably aren't even looking for you", Fury said.

"Yes they are", I said.

Fury walked up to me and put the tip of his sword in my side. He pushed it in and then pulled it out.

"Ahh", I screamed as I pulled on the ropes so my arm started to bleed more.

He motioned for the vivix and it walked up to me and put the cloth back in my mouth.

Fury starting hitting me with attacks and his sword. It hurt. I screamed but only made muffled sounds. He attacked me for 2 and a half hours. I was not going to last 5 more minutes. Fury stopped attacking me and pulled the rope from the pole that stuck out of the wall. I fell to the ground as he grabbed my arm. We teleported to the woods. He undid the rope and tied my hands in front of me. Then he pushed me to the ground. The impact made me black out.

Chase POV

I took my break and decided to go for a run in the woods. I got to a fork in the path and when I looked to my right, I saw something darker than the grass color lying on the ground. I walked over to it to find out it was Riley. I found the pocket knife I had in my pocket and cut the rope on his wrists. I also took the cloth out of his mouth. He had a pulse which was good. Just he had a major cut on his side and his right wrist was sliced opened from the rope that was around his wrist.

"Dino Cycle, Rev Up", I said and the dino cycle appeared in front of me.

I sat Riley on it and got on myself. I raced to the museum and helped Riley off. I walked into the museum and to the cafe as I dragged Riley in. I walked in to the cafe quickly noticed by Shelby who put her hand over her mouth and ran over to me crying.

"Is he okay", Shelby said not taking her eyes off Riley.

"I think so. We will need to do an x-ray. Tell Tyler to go get Kendall to help out. You go get a cot because he is basically dead weight right now and my shoulder is starting to hurt", I said as she ran into the kitchen get Tyler and a cot. I stood there as Mack and Tyler walked out.

"I'll be right back", Tyler said.

Shelby walked out with Annabeth and Sapph and a cot. Sapph had a bowl with water and a cloth. Me and Mack put Riley on the cot. Annabeth grabbed a chair and placed it next to the cot.

Shelby POV

"Annabeth I don't need a chair", I said.

"Okay", Annabeth said and took the chair back to the table where she got it.

I grabbed the cloth and bowl from Sapph and smiled.

"Thanks", I said.

"You're welcome", Sapph said. Her, Mack, and Annabeth went back in the kitchen.

Tyler walked in with Kendall. Chase was sitting at a table when they walked in. Tyler walked in the kitchen and walked out with the team. Kendall put the x-ray scanner over Riley as I squeezed his hand.

"He has a sprained wrist, a concussion, and he is lucky Fury's sword didn't go any further in his side because he would have had three cracked ribs. Otherwise everything else is just bruises, sprains, and cuts", Kendall said and I just nodded and looked at Riley.

His head would move every so often. I grabbed the washcloth and put it on his forehead. I took it off and laid my head on the cot and held his hand as I fell asleep.

Riley POV

My eyes opened. I sat up a little and saw Shelby sleeping holding my hand. She was holding my hurt one though so I was in pain. I used my arm that was not in pain and rubbed her arm.

"Shelby, Shelby", I said and shook her arm.

Her eyes opened slowy.

"Hey sweetie", I said.

"Riley", Shelby screamed and jumped on me.

I winced and let out a small cry.

"Sorry", Shelby said.

"Its okay", I said.

I heard the door swing open behind me. Then I saw the team.

"Hey guys", I said and put Shelby in my lap.

"Hey Riley", Annabeth said and hugged me.

"Hey", I said.

"How you are feeling", Chase said.

"Still sore but getting better", I said.

Shelby leaned her head on my shoulder.

"I'm just glad Chase found you", Shelby said and I kissed her on the forehead.

"I'm glad Chase found me too. Fury left me there nearly dead", I said.

"I am probably speaking for the whole team when I say this but we are glad you back and okay", Annabeth said.

We talked for about 3 more hours then went home.
