Annabeth POV

Me and Chase got home and I headed up to bed. I got changed and hopped in bed. When my head hit my pillow I was out.

Nightmare:

Chase POV

"Where's the monster", I said while we were looking around.

An evil laugh came from behind me. I turned around to see Tyler standing there with his blaster pointed at me and his eyes were completely black.

"Tyler, what are you doing", I said as he crept closer with his finger almost on the trigger.

"Doing what I was told", Tyler said as he was about to pull the trigger. Luckily, Annabeth kicked it out of his hand before he did. With that Tyler disappeared.

"This can't be happening", I said.

"Chase, it's ok", Annabeth said hugging me. Her hugs always make me feel better.

"Luckily, we don't have to free him alone", Riley said. That statement was directed to the 6 people standing there in astonishment.

"What just happened", Troy said.

"Tyler is evil", I said picking up his blaster.

"Well what do we do", Troy said.

"We have to fight him", Annabeth said turning towards us. She was tearing up because her and Tyler always trained and fought with each other. They also care for each other. They teamed up with each other ever since Annabeth found her energem. Now we have to fight him to free him from a spell.

Skipped the Flashback

Annabeth POV

"Chase, we need to save him", I said as he pulled me into a hug.

"We will, don't worry", Chase said looking at the others for advice on what to do.

"Lets get back and we will figure out a way to save him", Shelby said walking with Chase and me.

"Ahhh", I screamed and sat up.

Chase and my aunt ran into my room. Chase told my aunt he could handle it. She went back to bed, Chase walked over and sat on my bed.

"Whats wrong", Chase said as I sat next to him and put my head in his lap as he stroked my hair.

"I had a nightmare about when Tyler was evil", I said.

"Whats that on your neck", Chase said putting his hand on the spot where that thing hit me.

"I don't know", I said.

"It looks like a device that are making your dreams turn to nightmares", Chase said.

"How am I going to sleep", I said looking at my clock. Its was 4 am. I usually get up at 6.

"Lay back down and I will lay with you", Chase said. He got up and walked to the other side of my bed and laid down. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close.

We were out in seconds.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I slammed my hand on my alarm clock and sat up.

"Chase", I said loudly and he woke up.

"It worked. I didn't have that nightmare", I said as he sat up.

"Just to be safe, we should have Kendall look at the thing on your neck and see if there is a way to get it out before you can't sleep anymore", Chase said and ran to his room to get changed while I got changed.

I headed downstairs and went into the kitchen to get some food. I grabbed 2 apples, one for me and one for Riley. I heard a knock on the door. I went to go answer. I saw a green shirt and I knew it was Riley. I opened it.

"Hey", I said.

"Hey", Riley said as I threw him the apple.

"Chase, me and Riley are heading out for our run meet you at the museum", I yelled.

"Ok", Chase yelled back.

"Lets go", I said after I locked the door.

"How did you sleep", Riley said.

"I had a nightmare of when Tyler was evil and then Chase found a weird device on my neck", I said.

"Oh, so it was not so good", Riley said.

We stopped for a second.

"You always brighten the mood", I said.

"I guess I do", Riley said and we started laughing.

I looked down at my watch.

"Its 6:45, we better get going", I said as we ran to the museum.

"I won", Riley said.

"Whatever", I said catching my breath.

I took out my water and poured it on him.

"Hey", Riley said and flicked the water at me.

I walked away and headed to the base. Just as I was about to head up to the T-rex head something grabbed me and put a cloth over my mouth and nose with something on it. I struggled for a few minutes then I saw a black sleeve before I blacked out.

Chase POV

I had to knock Annabeth out, so Kendall could do some tests on her because knowing Annabeth, she wouldn't want me to stick a needle in her arm to make her sleep and plus this was easier. But I think she saw my sleeve before she blacked out because I had to adjust my arm to keep the cloth over her mouth and nose. I carried her up to the T-Rex head and pushed the back tooth and the slid her down. Tyler and the others knew I had to do that so they knew I was sending her down. I slid down after her. Tyler had put her on the cot so Kendall could start the tests. Halfway though a test Annabeth woke up.

"What's going on", Annabeth said freaking out. Tyler looked at me and motioned me to make her black out again.

"Annabeth, I am sorry I am doing this again", I said and put the cloth over her mouth and nose. Tyler held her hand and she struggled for a few minutes and then black out again.

Kendall finished with the tests. She found out that Fury and Sledge were controlling Annabeth's dreams with the device on the back of her neck. I was still upset with what I did to her. I probably have a lot of explaining to do later. Tyler was sitting with her when she woke up.

"What happened, I remember being knocked out twice and the first time it happened I saw a black sleeve and then I couldn't really see what happened the second time because the first time someone did it and I woke up, my vision was blurry", Annabeth said.

"Kendall wanted to run some tests. So I made you pass out twice with a cloth with something on it to put someone to sleep. I also did it that way because I know you don't like needles", I said and she looked at me.

"Its okay, I am not mad at you. Just what is this thing on my neck", Annabeth said.

"Its a device that Fury and Sledge are controlling your dreams with", I said.

"The only way to stop the device is to destroy the machine that controls it", Tyler said.

"If you guys don't mind, I am going to take a nap", Annabeth said and laid back down.

Annabeth POV

I fell asleep with Tyler holding my hand.

Nightmare:

Chase POV

I was standing over Annabeth and saw that she had woken up. I was so happy that she was okay, I hugged her so tight that she screamed.

"Chase, you are hurting me", Annabeth said.

"Sorry", I said as I let her go.

"Thats okay", Annabeth said as I helped her stand up.

Annabeth and I headed up to the museum when I saw Fury standing in front of the museum. "Annabeth, go get some help, I can take care of this", I shouted at her as I ran up to Fury.

"Well look who it is, the mighty Black Ranger", Fury said as I morphed.

"Thats me", I said as I charged at him with my blaster out. I hit him a few times and he hit me a few times. It went back and forth til he shot something at me and next thing I knew there was chains around me.

"I have you know black ranger", Fury said as he grabbed ahold of the chains. Next thing, I knew we teleported to an abandoned warehouse and everything went black.

Tyler POV

When Annabeth ran in to the cafe, I knew something was up. She said Chase told her to get help because he was fighting Fury. When we got outside of the museum, there was no one there.

"What's that", Riley said pointing to something. We ran over. "It's Chase's blaster."

I heard a faint cry coming from behind me. It was Annabeth, she must have know what happen.

"Fury captured him while I went to get help", she said nearly sobbing.

"Don't worry, we will find him", I said as I heard my communicator go off.

"Get to the base, now there is something that you have to see", I heard Kendall say.

"We are on our way", I said as we ran to the base.

Tyler POV

Annabeth's head started moving and her face look like something was torturing her. Her eyes flung opened and she was breathing heavy.

"Chase, where's Chase? Tyler, where's Chase", Annabeth said looking at me as Chase walked next to her.

"I am right here", Chase said smoothing her hair down. She turned her head to face him.

"You were captured by Fury", Annabeth said.

"It was a nightmare", I said and Chase nodded.

The alarm indicating a monster attack went off.

"Alien bio signs in the northwest quadrant", Kendall said.

"On it", I said as I helped Annabeth up and we ran to where the monster was.

"Thats far enough, Fury", I said.

"The rangers", Fury said. "Ah, aqua ranger how have you been sleeping lately", Fury said laughing.

Annabeth got mad.

"Tyler, there's the machine", Annabeth said pointing to a nearby tree.

"Its morphin time, Dino Charger, Ready", we shouted. "Energize, Unleash the power", we morphed.

Me and Annabeth ran over to the machine but Sledge appeared in front of us.

"You two aren't going to go any further", Sledge said.

"Yes, we're", I said and shot at him and he moved.

We started fighting then he disappeared.

"Dino Morpher blast", I said destroying the machine.

Annabeth demorphed and fell to the ground and was out cold. Fury disappeared, the others walked over to us and we demorphed. I picked Annabeth up and the thing on her neck fell to the ground.

"Lets go", I said and we headed back to the base.

"Is Annabeth going to be okay", Sapphire asked holding Chase's hand.

"Yeah", I said.

"After the nightmares she has have she won't have a problem sleeping", Chase said.

We got back to the base and Kendall had a cot set up for Annabeth. I laid her down and smoothed her hair and held her hand. She has been out for 3 hours now.

Annabeth POV

My eyes flickered open and I felt a hand on my head. I saw Tyler and put my hand on his face and rubbed my thumb on his check.

"Hey", Tyler said.

"Hey", I said and touch the back of my neck. "The device is gone", I said excitedly.

"Yeah", Tyler said

He extended his hand and I took it. We headed up to the cafe where everyone else was. Chase walked out of the kitchen and saw me and Tyler. He walked over to us and hugged me. Sapphire, Shelby, and Riley hugged me too.
