Evan cracks his knuckles and glances at the large abandoned bus before us. "Piece of cake," he declares.

Evan's fingertips melt into the side of the bus, listening to the creaks and groans of the metal before it lifts effortlessly off the ground.

"Ha," my brother laughs. "The son of a bitch managed to lift it."

Evan drops the bus, the wheels slamming to the ground. With enough force, the bus collapses.

"Your turn, Nick," He declares.

"Muh-my turn?" I stutter, lost in thought as I stare into the open fields. Torre stands silently in the opposite end of the field, camera focused on us.

"Yeah," Harry answers. "You going to wuss out of this too, or—"

I roll my eyes, trudging over to the back of the bus and lift until it hovers just above the floor.

Tada!

"Hell yeah, my brother has super-strength!" Oliver declares.

"Throw it!" Harry shouts. I'll run and catch it.

"This isn't a football," I say, but Evan and Harry look unamused.

"Just throw it..." Harry snaps, suddenly appearing on the opposite end of the field, away from Torre. I had no idea we had superhuman speed until that moment, but it's so awesome! Like, Flash Gordon awesome! Like, Superman awesome—I practically had Superman's powers at this point, plus a few stragglers. This was freaking insane! I panic for a second, holding the bus steady.

"Any day now, superstar," Torre yells.

He claps his hands together as the camera zooms in on me, and I chuck the bus high in the sky, listening to Meghan and Torre squeal and run for cover, the camera tumbling out of the air before Evan zooms over and catches it before it hits the brush and dirt.

It goes up, up and down-down-down, before it halts in the sky, hovering in one place before falling straight into Harry's arms. It's like a magic trick, but better—telekinesis and super strength.

"Sick catch!" Evan says, the camera still in his hand as he zooms in on Harry.

"Throw it back!" Evan hollers in excitement. I shake my head no, just as the bus flings back into the sky, straight into my arms. Crushed under the weight of the bus, I flatten out, trying to calm my winded breathing as I push the bus to the side.

"You okay?" Meghan asks, nearly rushing to my side. She tugs on the base of the bus, but it doesn't budge for her—not one single bit.

"Never..." I stand up, dusting myself off, wheezing and coughing on dust particles floating around us, "...Trust me, never do that again." My feet dance around for a moment, trying to find a steady balance, before I stop spinning.

Torre grabs the camera from Evan and inches closer to me, checking me for bumps, bruises, scrapes or anything else in particular, but there's nothing but a bruised ego bearing pain on me at the moment.

"That should just about wrap up today's vlog," I mutter, scratching the back of my neck.

"Not without a flight test. Last time, we could barely float. Now, it's our chance to learn how to fly!" Evan adds.

I huff, watching Harry and Evan lift into the sky, hovering just above the girls. "You going to wuss out, or join us like a man?" Harry asks.

"You have to try at some point," Oliver says. "Besides, I'll buy you all lunch if you can fly?"

My eyes flicker his direction. "With what money?"

"Remember when I won that film festival like two weeks ago?" His left eyebrow arches and a smirk bubbles up on his lips.

"Please?" Torre joins in now. The only one who silently seems against it is my girlfriend, but the majority vote wins as I close my eyes, counting down, 1-2-3... and weightlessly lift into the sky. It's easier than I thought it would be, and before I know it, I'm soaring through the sky with Evan and Harry, Oliver and the girls watching and videotaping from down below.

Even my brother has his phone out, a huge smile plastered on his face as he watches with awe. I float back down, and before I can land, I lose my balance and tumble to the ground about two feet into an outdated railroad track.

Everyone joins me, rushing over as I stand up again and beat the dust off my hoodie. "Meant to do that," I mutter out loud.

"Sure you did," Evan claps back with laughter.

"Okay, what does everyone want for lunch?" Oliver asks proudly glancing at me with amused expression.

"Islands sounds good right about now. Don't they have one near the mall in Glendale?" Evan asks.

"Here in Los Angeles?" Harry scratches his inner thigh.

"Yeah, I heard that place is good," Oliver puts in.

"Since when did you hear about this?" Meghan says, her eyes bugging out.

"I did a bit of driving the other day," He replies with confidence.

"I suggest Cheesecake Factory," I add in, my stomach rumbling in response. "According to my phone, there's one around there too."

"You have reception here?" Harry laughs, checking his phone just to make sure.

"Four bars," I reply. "And probably a decent signal."

"Dang, I gotta get me one of those plans," Evan tells me.

"So, cheesecake or island burgers?" Oliver asks the group.

"Why don't we ask Torre..." I suggest. Torre blinks behind the camera and pauses the video she replays of us messing with a couple dozen ton bus.

"I think we should go to Cheesecake Factory," She says. "Haven't been in a while since before we moved here."

"Okay, well, wasn't expecting that," Oliver says in complete shock. "Buuuut, I'm willing to splurge on you guys, as long as you don't go overboard."

"A forty dollar margarita on Ollie sounds good," Harry licks his lips. Oliver stares him down before he adds, "Kidding."

"Let's go before it gets major crowded and we get stuck dealing with a mob of fans," I wave them off, leading them back to the car, parked just off the side of the grassy area, and we head to the restaurant.
