Weekend Home

"I did not agree to this." I grumbled angrily. Rainn was sitting next to me in the train. Sin was in his cage in front of us. He was asleep. I glared out the window.
"Mom and Dad said I had to, don't worry, wasn't my idea of a good weekend either." She grumbled. My eyes rolled. How was this fair? I was just supposed to hang out with my friends. I yawned tiredly. It was like 2:30 in the morning. I hadn't even gotten an hour of sleep the night before.
"Scotty better let me sleep in his bed when we get there." I grumbled quietly. I glanced at Rainn, she was falling asleep. I decided to let her, so I could watch our stuff. I put on headphones. My eyes widened when I was leaned against, Rainn was asleep against me. Crap. I internally panicked and listened to music. This is fine.

My eyes tiredly opened. Rainn was impatiently shaking me. I glanced at her panickedly. She spoke, but I could not hear her. I fumbled with my headphones.
"Let's go!" She repeated annoyedly. I nodded rushdly. I grabbed all of my stuff and followed after her. My phone was going insane in my pocket. I grabbed it out. Scotty was calling me. I answered.
"Where are you?" He asked in a sleepy tone. I yawned along with him.
"We just got off," I mumbled tiredly.
"I see you." He hung up. We were approached by an annoyingly blonde tall teenage boy. He grinned down at me. It was Scotty. I grinned up at him. Sin got super excited. "Sup?" Scotty greeted sweetly. "Long time no see." My forehead was poked. One of my eyes partially closed. I pulled away slightly and giggled.
"It's been like a week and a half." I defended.
"Same thing," he shrugged. I smiled amusedly and hugged him. He hugged back. "Ah, you're Rainn, right?" Scotty asked as he paused the return hug. I looked at Rainn, she looked confused. I smiled sweetly to her. "I'm Scotty." He smiled proudly. I freed him lazily.
"It's nice to meet you," Rainn agreed with a nod. Scotty nodded.
"You too," he replied in a sweet tone.
"Where's Mix?" I asked while looking around. I pouted slightly. That little brat! I was hugged from behind. My eyes widened with confusion. I glanced up. Another blonde brat was hugging me. I squirmed. "Free me!" I whined.
"Wow, so you accept his hugs but not mine? I've known you longer. That hurts." Mix whined. I faced him. I stuck my tongue out. His eyes rolled and his arms crossed. "And I got up early to see you." He grumbled.
"You're not the one who got up at 1:30 in the morning." I hissed. He scoffed. We hugged. I smiled brightly. "Where's your mom?" I asked Scotty.
"She wanted to wait in the car." He explained. I nodded. He and Mix led Rainn and I.
"So those two are...?" Rainn asked quietly.
"Scotty and Mix, they're step brothers. I've known both of them technically for 10 years, but I didn't really know Scotty until sixth grade." I explained quietly. "I dated Scotty for a while too." I added.
"Really?" Rainn asked. Her voice was sly and curious. I simply nodded. We got to the car. I was stuck in the middle between Mix and Rainn. Sin sat on my lap in his kennel. We went to Scotty's mom's house. We all crashed in the living room. Sin was asleep with Scotty's dog. It was nice to get some sleep.

"Hah! Wrecked!" I cheered as I beat Scotty and Mix in a racing game. "Told you loser I could beat you!" I hummed proudly.
"How?!" Scotty whined back. Mix was grumbling as he complained. I danced around to the music in the background and to tease them. They had won in every other game, so I was very proud of myself for this. I grinned to them proudly.
"I'm going to win the next game!" Mix hissed. I giggled and sat back down at the end of the chair.
"Mmhmm, sure. Wanna play Rainn?" I asked with a sweet tone. She looked at me and nervously smiled. She nodded. Scotty gave her a remote. Rainn joined in, we went to a first-person-shooter game. Scotty and Mix were on a team, I was teamed with Rainn.

"WHAT?!" Scotty screeched. Rainn and I highfived excitedly. We totally wrecked them!
"Hah!" I laughed. Rainn giggled."Wreck, wreck, wreckidy, wrecked! That's what you get for being too cocky!" I cheered as my arms bounced around.
"You cheated!" Mix pointed at us accusingly.
"Did not!" We whined back.
"Just because I know how to play does not mean I cheated!" Rainn hissed cockily. I smirked slyly at their pouting.
"Alright you gamers, it's time for lunch!" Scotty's mom cheered.
"Then Kristine's!" I cheered excitedly.
"Aww!" Scotty whined at the same time as Mix. I smiled childishly to them. I felt bad.
"Let's eat!" I hummed excitedly. Rainn followed as the three of us went to the table. Sin was laying on the hardwood. He lazily glanced up at me. I grinned to him. The other dog had tired him out, poor guy. We ate while talking. I was soooooo excited to see Kristine!!!
"Slow down, or you'll choke!" Scotty yelled at me. I gave him a really big grin. "Okay, no." He pointed at me with the warning. I laughed. Mix was laughing too. We went back to eating while grinning. I really liked it here. I really missed being around them so much, no matter how much I wouldn't admit it.

Mix was shoving me so I'd get out of his way. He needed to get out of the car first. I slid out so he could get out too. "You owe me a hug." I held up my arms defensively. He scoffed.
"Now you want one?" His arms crossed. I puffed my cheeks. His eyes rolled.
"Pweash?" I asked cutely. I grinned as cutely as I could. He contemplated silently.
"Nah, later." He called as he ran off.
"Screw you too!" I yelled angrily at him. He waved from the door and walked off. I huffed and climbed back into the car. I glared out the window and crossed my arms. Scotty was laughing. I kicked the back of his chair. He laughed more. I tried to act annoyed, I grinned instead. Crap!

I hugged Scotty forcefully. We had parked down the street from Kristine's, since this was a surprise. He pat my head awkwardly. I freed him and flicked his forehead. He glared at me. He flicked me back. We started play fighting. His mom quietly yelled at us. We were grinning childishly.
"Stop being such a loser, kay?" I told Scotty slyly. He scoffed.
"Take your own advise." He responded. I stuck my tongue out at him. He returned the gesture.
"Later," I waved to him as I stepped back. I picked Sin's cage up. Rainn was waiting somewhat impatiently. Scotty returned the wave as he got into his car. I sighed and turned. I sent Rainn a sad smile. She returned the gesture. His car drove off.

Rainn and I headed to Kristine's. I knocked on the door and set all my stuff to the side. Knowing Kristine, I'd need to do that. The door opened. Kristine's mom was standing there. She smiled amusedly.
"Kristine!" We called in unison. Her mom was louder. Kristine ran down the stairs.
"Yeah Mo-? TYLER!" She screeched. Her mom moved and opened the door completely. Bridget, Kristine's little sister, had to hold onto their dog, Topi, so she wouldn't get out. Kristine pretty much tackled me. I stumbled as I caught her tiny 4 foot 11 figure. I snickered as she squeaked. She was so small and skinny, but also a lot stronger than one would expect.
"Tyler's here?" Kristine's somewhat-clueless boyfriend asked as he walked down the stairs. "Hey, Ty!" He greeted. I waved while I squished Kris. She giggled.
"I missed you too," I pat her head. We freed one another.
"You should have told me you were coming over!" She whined jokingly.
"It was a great surprise and you know it." I responded with a cocky shrug. "I'm just hurt you had your boyfriend over first." I complained. She laughed. He waved again. Rainn was watching with confusion. Kristine noticed her. She looked confused as she slowly processed who she could be.
"Are you Rainn?" Kristine asked awedly. Rainn nodded. "OMGOMGOMG! Tyler has told me so much about you!" She giggled as she fangirled. I pat Kristine's head.
"Calm smol child," I warned. Rainn looked at me with surprise. "What?" I asked blankly. She grinned.
"You talk about me?" She asked in an amused and happy tone. I looked away ebarrssedly. I poutingly puffed my cheeks.
"No!" I fibbed. She laughed.
"Do so!" Rainn accused.
"I do not!" I hissed defensively. Kristine, who I remind you, is shorter than me, pat my head.
"There there tol child." She giggled mocking me. I sighed frustratedly.
"Why did you have to tell her?" I whined over dramatically. Kristine shrugged slyly.
"Let's go inside!" She ordered.
"Okay, okay." I laughed. I grabbed my stuff and we went inside. Sin bounced out of his cage as quickly as he could. He played with Topi happily. I watched and smiled amusedly. I carried the rest of my and Rainn's stuff to Kristine and Bridget's room. Rainn got situated with Kristine and Turtle, Krisitine's boyfriend's nickname.
"Tyler! Tyler! I missed you!" Matt cheered, running up to me.
"I missed you too, kid." I chuckled, rubbing his hair affectionately. He grinned.
"Matt!" His mom called.
"Yeah?" He responded.
"You left your stuff in the floor!" She hollered. Matt groaned and ran off. I sat with Kristine and Turtle, I tried ti steal Kristine away from cuddling him. It did not work. Rainn sat with me. We talked for a while, about anything and everything all at once. I avoided telling anyone how I was doing, we just had fun screwing around.

"This is really hard!" I whined, stumbling around as we danced to Kristine's Wii. We were dancing to Michael Jackson, trying to see who was better.
"Keep going, it's hilarious!" Rainn was recording me. I glared at her. She smirked. The song ended. I laid in the floor and whined.
"You win!" I whined. "Im tired, I'm gonna die here." I complained.
"Dance from the floor!" Bridgetcheered me on. I laughed and hit a few poses. Everyone laughed. I gave Bridget the remote. She danced against her sister. I bounced up and danced with them. Everyone laughed. It was a fun end to Turtle being over.

After that, we had dinner; we ate tacos all awkwardly. We sat at the table and ate awkwardly. Her dad wasn't home, since he was out on deployment. It was a pleasant and funny evening. We played Mortal Kombat and Super Smash Brothers. When we got up, we played Minecraft and then I got to go to Nas'.
"I'm so tired." I complained as I ate a muffin lazily. Kristine giggled.
"Me too." She agreed amusedly.
"Hi Rainn, want a muffin?" I yawned. She had just showered and was changed. She looked fully awake.
"Oh, sure. Thank you." She smiled sweetly. She ate and so did we. I laid on the couch and watched TV with Kristine as she played with my hair.

"Bye~" I cheered to everyone. Nas' dad had come to get us. "I love you guys!" I cheered. I  hugged Kristine tightly and then we had to leave. Sin was bouncing around in his kennel, he hated being moved around so much. "Hiiii!" I waved greetingly.
"Hey kiddo." Nas' dad greeted.
"Tyler!" Nas bounced out of his car.
"Be careful of Sin!" I laughed, hugging him back. Sin barked his greetings.
"Hi Sin." Nas grinned. He noticed Rainn and paused curiously. "You're Rainn? I didn't know you were coming over?" His head tilted.
"Neither did we." I laughed and grinned. Rainn shyly smiled and waved. We went to his house.

"So, how long are you staying?" Kei, Nas' little sister asked. She was the oldest of the twins.
"Only for about two hours. We have to get to the train station by three." I explained. The kids whined. I chuckled and rubbed her head. "Yeah, know." I chuckled. "Let's play some videogames while we wait, okay?" I offered. The kids and Nas nodded. We sat in the living room playing first person shooters. I had multiple cussing and screaming fits while I raged, that made everyone laugh. Sin was playing with their dog and cat.

"Fuuuuck!" I screamed into the couch. I had just died, again and was honestly so done.
"It's just a game, chill." Rainn told me. I made another yelling noise and pouted.
"This is such bullshit." I huffed wuth frustration. Everyone laughed at me while I pouted.
"Alright, girls." Nas' dad spoke up. I glanced to Nas and frowned. "We need ti take Tyler and Rainn to the station. Let's get to it!" He ordered, clapping his hands.
And so once again, we were on the move.

We said our goodbyes at the station and went to the train that'd take us back to Rainn's town. I pouted the entire ride and Sin whined. He wasn't feeling good after eating something off the ground. Rainn tried to engage me in conversation and when that didn't work, we didn't talk. It was a long train ride.

"How was it?" Rod asked, grinning when he saw us. He and Red had come to meet us at the station.
"Awesome!" Rainn grinned.
"It was cool." I shrugged and after that I didn't speak.
