Dance...?

I looked around at this giant school. The outside was completely taken care of. It was beautiful, especially with the sun reflecting on it. A flower and bush bed lined the front outside of the school, cherry blossoms trees and other sorts of trees were also scattered around the court yard. Some of them seemed stable enough to climb on. The cherry blossoms were in bloom, or at least trying to. They were growing pink and the flowers were trying to open. It was almost spring, so everything was trying to bloom. I grinned excitedly. I stared awedly.
Describing the outside of this school would have taken hours. The inside would have been even longer. Everything was so properly taken care of, it was pristine which was strange for a public school, especially a high school.
I had been dragged to school after a few days of "getting settled in." They picked a Friday to force me here, how considerate.
"Come on Tyler! I have dance practice and Dad said you have to come with me." Rainn instructed. My eyes rolled.
"I remember him saying I had a choice in the matter," I grumbled.
"Too bad," Rainn giggled. My arm was grabbed. I was dragged off toward the gym.
"Why do you have practice before school anyway? That just sounds like a lot of dumb work." I complained.
"We perform a lot. At assemblies and stuff. Dance is a lot of work, you know?" Rainn replied excitedly.
"Fancy meeting you here~" Rod hummed. He and Red were waiting outside of the gym, they were wearing lose black shorts and tight black tee shirts. A bunch of other people were with them. I glanced away quickly. Here comes those anxious feelings. Rainn giggled and walked up to him they were being all lovey-dovey. I tried not to scrunch my nose and to just let them have their fun. Red made a joking grossed out noise.
"How did you guys get in here before us?" Rainn grinned amusedly.
"The janitors are great," Red replied. He held up his hand and motioned it around to signify his approval. Rainn giggled and nodded in agreement.
"Morning team!" A female with a messed up bun greeted. She was smiling with excitement. I tried to hide against the wall. This was a very discomforting situation. I watched her hair, she had no thing seated in her hair and her hands were covered. I grew curious of her power. "Uh- who are you?" She asked me confusedly. I panickedly looked at her, my face flushed with an embarrassed shade of red. Her smile softened. "Are you Tyler? Rainn keeps telling the team so much about you!" She beamed excitedly. I nervously itched the back of my head and nodded.
"She is pretty!" The only other boy cheered. A girl grumbled. He was grinning.
"Yep, this is Tyler!" Rainn cheered. She leaned on me and slung her arm over my shoulder excitedly. I was dragged down slightly.
"Well, it's nice to meet you," the woman with the messy bun assured. Her hand extended, "everyone calls me 'Coach.'"
"It's um nice to meet you..." I mumbled wearily. Our hands shook. She chuckled then focused back on the other kids.
"Why are we still in this dark hallway?" She laughed.
"Because you haven't opened the door," The girl who grumbled replied. Coach laughed.
"I guess I haven't," she smiled amusedly and went to the door. She unlocked it with a key and let everyone in. I was dragged by Rainn. The kids were already all getting ready and completely set up for practice. "Care to join us? I have extra gear, if you'd like to try."
"Isn't that like, against the law?" I asked uncertainly.
"Have you turned in your sports packet and paid for ASB?" She asked amusedly.
"Yeah?" I shrugged.
"Then no!" Coach laughed. I was forced to join the group for the morning. There went my plans of sleeping...

"Alright team, go clean up before school starts!" Coach cheered, she sent everyone down to the locker rooms. We were forced to shower, needless to say; I really didn't like the showering part of that experience. The dancing was a lot of fun, though! I rushedly dressed when I was done. After dressing, I tried to shake out my damp sort hair. Thankfully, it was dry enough that I could still wear my beanie. I brushed my bangs to the side properly. That looked better.
"Um, h-hi, I'm Grey and um, yeah..." A very beautiful girl who was slightly shorter than I, approached me. She spoke quietly and with hesitance. I panickedly faced her. She had this faint smile.
"Grey's a cool name!" I smiled nervously. She smiled brighter back. "It's nice to meet you," I mumbled sheepishly. I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. I examined her and what she looked like, she seemed nervous, but confident. I stared at her hair, it was strawberry blonde. Her eyes were brown, they kind of had the colors of autumn trapped within them. Her skin was light, but tanned according to the sun. She was quite pretty. I couldn't tell her power currently, but I'd probably figure it out eventually.
"Ditto!" She giggled. Rainn walked up next to her.
"Good, you two have met!" She beamed, "we sit together at lunch," she motioned to Grey.
"Ah- uh- cool." I nodded hesitantly. Grey giggled.
"I sit with them too," another girl added with a nod. She walked over. Her finger pressed on my chest. She leaned toward me with an angered expression. "Let's get one thing straight, Red is mine." She hissed. Her dark purple hair swayed as she leaned away. She was smirking cockily.
"Kay...?" I mumbled panickedly. She smiled approvingly.
"Good!" She cheered, "then we won't have a problem! I'm Purity!"
"That's ironic," I grumbled quietly. Her eye twitched angrily. My expression fell and my face flushed. "S-sorry!" Rainn was laughing, so was Grey. Purity smiled angrily. I stared at her, she looked annoyed. Her hair kind of stood with her anger. The violet purple that was her hair seemed totally off against the bright make up she wore. She was pretty cute with the layered make up, I just didn't know what she looked like for real. Most of her body was covered by clothe, so her skin was hard to see, as well as her hands. I didn't chose to look while she showered either. I paused and thought, she's wearing makeup, but it wasn't smudged at all. She must be really fast, or extremely skilled. I looked over her again, she was maybe an inch taller than I was.
"I'm gonna head out, later cuties!" She giggled and walked out.
"She hates me," I whined and covered my face. I had this really off grin on my face. "I'm never going to survive this school year." I mumbled.
"Hey, just be glad the year is almost over!" Grey giggled. She turned towards the door. I watched her long strawberry red hair float around as she moved. She proudly walked off. I sighed frustratedly and followed Rainn. I felt a bit more comfortable with her after the time I was forced to be around her. Rainn led me to this slightly large group that was seated at an outside table. Rainn sat next to Rod and Red, Purity was on the other side of Red and that bench was full. Grey was seated by the other boy from the dance team, the other Gray. They danced together in one of the routines. Gray was quite the opposite of his name, he was excited and open. His eyes shined hazel brown. He was adorable in a sort of speak. His skin was also tanned, it seemed that everyone Rainn hung out with was Caucasian, but tan. His hair pretty much matched his eye color. He smiled quite often, I had noticed. He was smiling now. I could see why his name was "Gray," though, he wore quite a bit of Gray.
"Well, hello there~!" A boy cheered. He was smirking at me amusedly. "Are you the famous Tyler?"
"Yup! That's my foster sister!" Rainn cheered.
"Cool! They call me Chip," the same boy grinned widely. "This is Yale, he's my boyfriend." He announced proudly. He had black hair, like a chocolate chip. His eyes were a mixture of hazel and gold, pretty cool, but not easily describable. His skin was a much lighter tan than anyone else, except me. He had this really sly smile, which made him look "cool."
"You don't have to tell everyone!" The boy beside him whine. He covered his face as he laid his head down. His face was all red and he was embarrassed. He tried to hide it. I watched his pink hair shift around. He was Caucasian too, but once again; his skin was tanned. I couldn't see his eyes, since his face was covered. When I saw his eyes before I thought they were black, that would be cool. I wasn't sure, though.
"I feel like I do!" Chip whined. A girl I hadn't yet met sighed.
"I'm Fay," she smiled sweetly and offered her hand. Her hair seemed partially scattered, it was organized, but messy at the same time. Her hair color was shiny red, not strawberry, but darker. She was probably the tannest, maybe she actually did tan? She had a small mole on her left cheek. She wore makeup too, it seemed like all the girls I've met wear makeup. She was wearing black lipstick, which was cool in my mind. She was also wearing a dress. She looked proud, she should since she was so pretty.
"Tyler," I took her hand and shook. She pulled me down and sat me next to her. I blinked confusedly.
"You can sit by me!" She grinned slyly. She released my hand. I released hers.
"A'ight then," I mumbled. She grinned to me. I awkwardly returned the gesture. I felt pretty nervous and uncomfortable. My leg bounced. I focused on staring at the table. The group went on to talking to one another. They seemed pretty easy going and focused. They didn't focus on me, much. That was nice. I was able to get to class without having a total anxiety attack.
