A Horrid Thing Called School
I know I haven't updated in a really long time, but I have an excuse.
I just finished another book called 'Sparks and Ashes'. It's a Hamilton fanfic.
Anyway, heres the next chapter.
----------
After first hour, me and Peter realized we had more than just first hour together. We had first, third, fifth, and seventh hours together. After that we became good friends and decided to walk to classes together. His apartment was also on the way to mine, so we would walk home together.
One day after school Flash, the kid that always bullied me, came up and pushed over Peter.
"Look, I don't wanna fight." I told him, putting my hands up.
"To bad I do, freak. " he said, fisting his hands.
"Please don't do this." I pleaded. I had had enough of his shit this week.
"Flash, get away from her." Peter yelled .
"Aww, are the two freak nerds in love?"
"Don't call him a freak. " I yelled trying to get his attention back on me.
"You're just begging for a beat down, aren't you?"
"Maybe, just stay away from Peter. "
Just then Peter jumped up and attacked Flash. He did it with such ease and grace, if I hadn't seen it begin, I wouldn't have known it was Peter at all.
Flash fell to the ground, and Peter looked around to make sure nobody saw then grabbed my hand and ran.
-----------
"Peter, what was that?"
" Um, what? " I could tell he was trying to make it seem like he didn't just kick Flash's ass.
"That. Kicking his ass. Dragging me to an abandoned alleyway."
"Oh, that. It's a long story. "
"I've got time." I could cancel my 'weekend plans' to hear this story.
"It's really long."
"I've got lots of time."
"Fine, I'm Spider-Man."
"That didn't take very long at all. "
"I was hoping that saying it was a long story may deter you from wanting to hear it."
"Well I have to go, and before you say anything, I won't tell anyone. Promise. "
I walked out of the alleyway and made my way home to convince my mom to let me move out. What did you think I meant by 'weekend plans'? Robbing a bank? No, I needed to stay beneath the radar for a while. I was graduating tomorrow because I had done so well, even though I was just a sophomore.
O could already tell, this was going to be a long weekend, and I hadn't even gotten home yet.
