Diantha was only a few years shy of her time of coming of age in vampire years that is.

She also grew very lovely. Her hair was like a lavender waterfall in silky tresses, framing her heart-shaped face and lovely emerald eyes. What made her even more endearing was the fact she never asked for anything from anyone, and the servants even thought it was it was sweet of the sister to be there to comfort her brothers when they need it.

Then there was the brothers. The servants knew they all had different personalities and sadistic sides which made them shiver. Whenever a 'sacrificial bride' was brought to them, they would only prove a little entertainment only to end up being drained and died as a result. 

But when it came to the sister, well, to the servants' amazement, they would put up with one another for her. To be able to relax in her presence or her embrace. 

Was it because she would be the next queen of the clan or something else? They didn't know except for those who served the family the longest.

But things would turn on its head when Cordelia got involved. And not in a good way.

After Laito was free from his prison, his sister gave him a fedora he treasured and would wear all the time. 

Cordelia was silently fuming as she saw Beatrix's, Christa's and even her own sons interact without anything too bad happening, and knew they were doing it for their sister so she wouldn't be upset. 

But the final 'indignity' was when her husband sent an heirloom to his daughter. 

A beautiful choker that was passed in the family and would be worn by females of the family. Cordelia had never heard of this, and was furious that she never got to wear it.

She was the one who gave birth to the brat in the first place! she should be the one getting all the praise, attention and presents!

.....She'll have to get rid of the nuisance of her plight.
