Draco had fully recovered by breakfast the next day; something I wouldn't have expected by the way he looked, sprawled across the bathroom floor in a puddle of his own blood less than 24 hours ago.
While Wren decided to already head to the great hall to catch up with Luna, Draco and I decided that we should both probably take a shower and change our clothes first; for everyone's sake.
Even though I'm sure, the Gryffindors would appreciate our sudden interest in wearing the colour crimson red so openly. Now that the blood had dried; all it would've probably been considered was a bold fashion choice.
"My whole dorm should be at breakfast by now, you know. How about we shower—" Draco didn't get to finish his sentence, the interruption denying me of an invitation I'd accept in a heartbeat.
I was leaning against the door to the girl's dormitory's, a smug smirk on my lips when Blaise unknowingly kept me from what could've been an interesting morning work out.
"Draco, mate," He said, his head tilted as he looked at the boy with a hint of surprise on his face. "I didn't think you'd be out so soon after hearing what happened. Are you alright?"
Draco, clearly annoyed by the interruption, slowly dragged his eyes away from me to look at his friend, his nose scrunched up just the tiniest bit.
"Clearly, otherwise I wouldn't be out, would I?" He spat, and I honestly felt a bit bad for Blaise. His only crime was interrupting a conversation in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
Though, it was fun seeing Draco grow frustrated simply because, now that his friend was making his way to their dorm, he couldn't have me the way he wanted to.
"Well, you certainly didn't lose your charming way's in there, did you?" Blaise joked with an eye roll before they landed on me, lingering for a second before snapping back to his friend. "Sorry I didn't come by," He began. "I just imagined you were in good hands, is all."
With that, his eyes flickered back and forth between Draco and me once before clearing his throat. "Anyway, we should celebrate you surviving, or something. I'll let the usual crowd know, and we'll just get blackout drunk in our dorm," Blaise suggested, quirking an eyebrow as he looked at the blonde. "You still seem a bit out of it, that'll snap you back—"
"Sure," Draco sighed, clearly wanting nothing more than for the boy to go along his way. "You do that."
A pleased smile plastered across Blaise's lips, and he nodded. "Alright," He acknowledged, and then disappeared through the door and into the corridor to the boy's dorms with nothing but a forceful pat on Draco's back.
"Well, seems like someone is occupying your dorm now," I pouted playfully, picking our conversation up where it left off. "A shame. Your idea sounded—" I pretended to think for a second. "Intriguing."
A smirk formed on Draco's face at my words. "It did, didn't it?" He huffed, amusement and frustration alike lingering in his voice. "But we don't want to break Zabini's heart, do we? I'm sure we'll be able to catch up on whatever we missed out on some other time."
I quirked my brow at his words, an amused smile on my lips.
"Would you look at that, Draco Malfoy caring about someone else's feelings. Maybe you are a changed man," I joked, pleasantly surprised by his consideration.
"Well, he is planning a survival celebration," He chuckled, irritated but his ego clearly flattered by the idea. "Fucking the girl he fancies in the next room would be a low blow, even for me," He explained carelessly, a shrug accompanying his words.
I felt myself blush horribly bad at his bluntness and cursed silently when I couldn't think about a fast enough comeback, inevitably letting him win this conversation.
He let me know he did with the smirk spread across his lips, and I rolled my eyes at the sight.
"Well, you have fun at your survival celebration, then," I managed to break the silence that was awkward for me but victorious for him.
"Yeah, I'll see you there," He said, his words accompanied by a wink before disappearing into the corridor behind him without another word; leaving me dumbstruck standing in front of it.
Good to know I'll be going to that, then.
✧·゚: *✧·゚:*✧
I had a drink in my hand as soon as I stepped a foot into their dorm that evening. Wren and Luna right behind me experiencing the same fate.
"I didn't know Luna would come," Draco admitted in a whisper after closing the door behind them, his eyes on the pair as they immediately fell into a conversation with Blaise.
"Blaise said it would be fine," I shrugged, taking a seat on the floor, my back resting against the foot of one of the beds.
"Poor Pansy Parkinson," He snickered, amused as his eyes searched for the short-haired girl in the room, quickly spotting her on the other side of it talking to Theodore Nott.
"I'm sure she'll survive," I scoffed, shaking my head with an amused smile on my lips before diverting my eyes off of her again.
I played with the cup in my hands, taking a sip from it every now and then while following the conversation happening around me.
The burning sensation of the fire whiskey making its way down my throat almost felt like life itself pouring into me, and had me giddier than usual after just the first cup.
Gradually, more and more people sat down on the floor, unintentionally forming a wonky circle in the middle of the room.
"Never have I ever—" Wren announced loudly out of nowhere, all the little conversations between everyone dying out as their attention diverted onto her.
Wren's eyes flickered through the room, a lazy smirk playing on her lips. "—kissed someone." Her question was still rather harmless, and I sighed in relief when she didn't resort to any of the things I had in mind that would've been much, much worse.
I took a sip from the liquor in my cup. Perhaps one too big. My mind was drowsy; I had enough to drink to be tipsy already, and my body was longing to get properly drunk for the first time in a long time.
With everything going on recently, I didn't blame myself. A night free from any responsibility and worry that was instead filled with alcohol and laughter seemed to be the one thing that might have me forget everything wrong right now.
Draco seemed to be thinking the same thing, taking a sip even bigger than mine.
Blaise was next, his opening question: "Never have I ever been rejected by Harry Potter." His eyes were locked with Draco's who, at first, didn't move.
Blaise raised his eyebrows, head tilted. "Go on, Draco. We all know you wanted to be friends with him first year," He prompted.
The blonde next to me rolled his eyes, grumbling something under his breath I couldn't quite understand. "That was before I realised he was an obnoxious idiot," He huffed after taking a sip.
I didn't feel the need to defend my brother against Draco's words. Honestly, he probably deserved even harsher ones, in my opinion.
By the time it was my turn, I was a considerable amount drunker. My whole body was leaned against Draco, a content smile on my lips that probably made me look completely out of it as I scanned the rest of the group.
They all seemed to be at least tipsy. Though, most of them probably felt the same way I did.
Luna was sitting in between Wren's legs, head resting against her chest with her eyes closed. Though, whenever she deemed it necessary, she took a sip out of her cup. It's a good thing we didn't have to get up to refill our alcohol.
"Never have I ever—" I began, an eyebrow quirked while I looked around the room and wondered who I'd know enough about to embarrass them.
Sure, that might not have been the way you're supposed to play, but it was the way I played. In my opinion, you had the most fun that way.
I giggled slightly when I locked eyes with Pansy. "Never have I ever given someone food laced with love potion," I finished my sentence, a victorious smirk on my lips as her cheeks took on a slightly pink colour.
Wren groaned quietly next to me, reminded of the memory she so deeply wanted to lock away and never think of again. Her arms wrapped around Luna instinctively, her own head resting on Luna's in annoyance.
All boundaries were left behind after my second cup of pure fire whisky. Otherwise, the words would've probably never left my mouth.
I felt Draco laugh lowly, his head shaking in amusement as he watched Pansy take a sip.
Simultaneously, his free hand moved to rest on my thigh. A motion I wasn't quite sure was intended, as he didn't seem to notice it in the slightest. I know Blaise did notice. And while he seemed hardly pleased, he didn't say anything, either.
Nott seemed to notice Blaise's scowl, followed his gaze and ended up locking eyes with me just for a second. A smirk formed on his lips as his eyes flickered back and forth between Draco and me before snapping back onto Blaise, his smirk deepening.
Draco was too busy teasing Wren about the incident to notice. And I was a little too drunk to make the connection of what was going through his head right now.
I had never spoken to him much before tonight, so it's not like I had a lot of insight about his character, anyway.
He cleared his throat loudly, smirk still in place before he began speaking, even though it wasn't even his turn. "Never have I ever had a crush on Y/n Potter," He said slowly, an innocent smile on his lips.
"Oh, you'll get a lot of them with this one," Pansy snarled, eyeing me just for a moment before a small giggle escaped her lips and she looked back at Nott.
Draco took a sip without much fuss, lifting his cup casually and shuddering just slightly when the liquor burned down his throat. So casual, indeed, that the only person really noticing was Luna, who just looked at me with a smile on her lips.
Blaise, on the other hand, was glaring at Nott, practically shooting daggers at him in his mind before sighing loudly. Draco watched him closely; an eyebrow raised even though he knew the answer, anyway. "Go on, Blaise. We all know you—" The blonde boy next to me laughed, imitating what Blaise had said to him not long ago.
Wren was arguing with Luna, though it seemed like Wren was the one upset. "I'm not going to—" She said in a low voice, her eyes narrowed and brows furrowed as she looked down on her girlfriend, the latter still sitting in between her legs, though her head was resting on Wren's stomach by now.
"Well, you'd be lying, then," Luna stated with a shrug, and Wren rolled her eyes.
"I'm okay with lying if it means it won't make you uncomfortable. It's a stupid—" Luna interrupted her by simultaneously pulling Wren down and herself up to give her a short, but, by the looks of it, passionate kiss to shut her up.
"I'm not uncomfortable, silly," She said with a smile, letting go of Wren. My best friend mumbled something to herself rather annoyed, but then reached for her cup and took a quick sip.
She looked at me right after, rolling her eyes with a small smile. But before I could tease her about the action just the tiniest bit, Draco interrupted my train of thought.
"I seem to be a lucky man, huh?" He joked in a low whisper, his lips close enough to my ear to graze them.
If I were sober, I'd probably tell him he should count himself lucky, though, intoxicated, thinking straight was much harder. So hard, indeed, instead of saying anything, at all, I just leaned further into his touch, my eyes closing at the sensation of his warm breath hitting my ear.
"Mhm," I mumbled, nodding slightly and making him chuckle lowly at the realisation of how drunk I really was.
"Okay, let's move on, please," Wren then said, drawing me back into reality before letting us know it was Luna's turn.
The blonde girl thought for a second, her brows slightly furrowed. She visibly relaxed when she thought of a question just a few moments later.
"Never have I ever practised dark magic," She said casually, watching the room with anticipation of who might raise their cup; Not to judge them, but probably because she was genuinely interested.
The room grew quiet quickly, an odd tension filling it, that was only broken once Nott took a sip with a shrug. "I'm not telling the story, so don't ask," He cleared up quickly before anyone had the chance to ask.
Nobody was even looking at me. Nobody was suspecting a thing. Harry Potter's sister involved in dark magic? Nothing seemed further fetched than that.
It would've been easy to simply not drink, this was only a game, after all. But for some reason, in my drunken state, I thought it would be a laugh to do it, anyway.
So, when I took a sip, and suddenly all eyes were on me, I couldn't help but laugh.
"What?" I scoffed, a grin on my face. "Now, don't be disappointed in me, guys," I pouted, slurring my words a little; the realisation of which made me giggle again before I emptied my cup just for the sake of it.
Wren leaned over to look at me, her brows furrowed. She looked like she was about to say something but then changed her mind as her eyes snapped over to exchange a concerned glance with Draco.
I know he should've taken a sip, too. But he seemed to be smarter than me, and therefore, kept quiet.
The boy seemed just as confused as Wren, brows furrowed and trying to figure out whether I was being serious or not.
"Wha—" He began, though I quickly interrupted him.
"If Nott doesn't have to talk about it, neither will I," I stated proudly, crossing my arms in front of my chest.
He sighed, leaning back against the bed frame. "You're too drunk to have this conversation, anyway," He mumbled before turning towards the group again.
The following questions were much lighter ones that were answered quickly and forgotten about minutes later as we got drunker and drunker.
"Never have I ever been rejected," Draco shrugged, and both Pansy and Wren drank.
Luna caressed Wren's leg as she did so, whispering something in her ear that made my best friend grin widely.
My cup was already by my lips for a casual sip when Blaise asked the next question. "Never have I ever had an— how do I put this nicely?" He grinned to himself. "—an inappropriate dream about someone in this room."
I coughed loudly, the question catching me quite off guard. Luna drank without much shame, and Draco followed her lead just seconds later. Both of them were probably drunk enough to not really care anymore.
I raised my eyebrows at Draco, a sly smirk on his face as he watched me raise the cup to my lips, too.
"That's not really a revelation, is it?" He whispered, and I was able to hear the smirk in his voice as he spoke.
"Shut it," I mumbled, nudging his side with my elbow.
Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, the alcohol really kicked in. And if I felt out of it before, I didn't know how to describe my current state, really.
It was to be expected. We've been drinking and playing for what felt like hours now, and the Fire whisky bottle that was as good as new when we arrived, was almost empty now.
"I'm bored," Nott intervened my thoughts, a scowl on his face. "Let's make this a little more interesting." He scanned the room once, and I had trouble following what exactly was going on. "Blaise, I dare you to make out with whoever you find most— well, in that case, with Potter," He nodded in my direction with a laugh.
While I heard what he said, I didn't really comprehend it. So, when Blaise got up and started walking over to me, I was rather confused. And I felt like I lost the plot completely when Draco went to get up, too.
I watched the two boys just look at each other for a second, in awe by how tall they both looked from down here.
I went to take another sip out of my cup, just as Blaise went to walk around Draco. But, before I had the chance to drink the liquor, the cup magically flew out of my hand, landing right in Luna's.
"I think you've had enough, Y/n," She smiled, not seeming drunk at all, even though she had a considerable amount as well. I pouted, though my attention was quickly on the two boys again.
"I don't think so, Zabini," Draco muttered, stepping in front of him, and therefore stopping him in his tracks.
Blaise snickered. "It's just a game, Malfoy. Don't be such a bore." His voice was laced with amusement as he tried to walk around the blonde once more.
"I'm being fucking serious," Draco repeated dangerously calm as his hand grabbed the dark-skinned boy by the arm to get him to stop.
I watched them, a little clueless as to what was going on before I moved closer to Wren and Luna in hopes maybe they could fill in the blanks.
"It reeks of testosterone in here," Wren murmured, scrunching up her nose in disgust at the two boys. Luna giggled at the comment. I watched them both closely, Nott's words suddenly sinking in.
"Blaise wants to kiss me?" I asked the girl's to my right with a sheepish grin, too drunk to have my facial features under control, or take the situation seriously, at all.
"You caught on quick," My best friend noted, all of our eyes on Draco and Blaise during the course of our conversation.
"Well, that's nice of him. I should probably thank hi—" I interrupted myself before raising my voice. "Thanks, Blaise, I'm flattered, really!" I giggled, and both of their eyes snapped in my direction.
Draco with a furious glare on his face that had previously been directed at Blaise, while the latter's lips curled up into a smirk at my words.
The blonde furrowed his brows at me, watching me silently smile to myself about nothing in particular.
"Merlin," He muttered, irritated, just as he turned around completely and walked the few steps over to where I was sitting. He grabbed my arm gently, yet forceful enough to yank me to my feet before dragging me into the bathroom with a scowl on his face. "You need some serious sobering up." His voice was loud enough for the rest of the room to hear, letting them know he wasn't taking me to the bathroom to take me.
Not that I'd mind.
A smirk formed on my lips at my thoughts, and I couldn't help myself but look behind me to be met with all of their eyes on me. All of them but Blaise looked rather amused by the sight, and I gave the group a suggestive wink before Draco closed the door to the bathroom with a loud thump.
I still heard their muffled laughter and giggles with the door in between us.
Draco left me standing by the door just for a moment, and I was about to grab the doorknob to get back to my friends because respectfully, it seemed more fun out there judging by their laughter.
"Drink this," Draco sighed, handing me a glass filled with a clear liquid that perked my interest and therefore had me let go of the knob.
"Vodka?" I inquired, sniffing it to realise there was no specific smell to it. "I heard you're not supposed to mix—"
"—Water, Y/n."
My face fell at his words, though, I took a big sip of it, anyway. The way it refreshed my throat instead of burning it was, well, refreshing.
"Why are you so grumpy, Draco?" I asked with a pout, reaching for his cheeks to squeeze them playfully. Though, his hand caught my wrist before I got to his face. I scoffed at the motion, but lowered my arm.
He still held onto it. "I'm not— grumpy," He spat the last word, almost confused by my choice of words. "I'm—"
"—You're jealous?" I giggled, tutting ironically at my own exclaim. "Personally, I think the fact Blaise would consider kissing me is quite nice. I mean, that's, like, a very heartfelt compliment, not that I'd—" I rambled on, interrupting myself with a giggle every now and then before he interrupted me with a harsh shove against the counter.
"You're mine. You understand that, don't you?" He growled, his face dangerously close to my own.
I tilted my head at his exclaim. And if I were sober, I would've probably reacted completely different. Though now, his words made me fall into a monologue that would've been entirely too long if he hadn't interrupted me once more.
"Well, I'd say I'm nobody's property, you know. I mean—"
He didn't seem to want to hear my thoughts on self-liberation and respect, instead wrapping his hand around my throat while he pushed me further into the counter, my back arching further back than my hips would go— Draco hovering over me.
"I asked, do you understand that?" He repeated, his voice no more than a low whisper in my ear that had the knots in my stomach tighten. The sudden tension between us seemed to sober me up much quicker than the water would've, and I found my head slowly clearing.
"What if I didn't?" I mocked, the sweetest, most innocent smile on my lips I could fake. I watched his eyes darken, the grip on my neck loosening, his hands instead moving to my waist to promptly pick me up and set me on top of the counter.
"I swear to Merlin, Y/n, You don't want to find out," He seethed, moving closer as my legs immediately opened for him to stand in between them. "Not here— not now." His eyes flickered towards the door, and the insinuation of what he might do to me send shivers down my spine.
I swallowed thickly before the words left my mouth. "I do."
- smut warning yall -
His eyes snapped back to mine, not daring to look away as recognition struck through them. And then he moved quickly, his wand in his hand before I even really noticed he moved.
"Colloportus," He muttered towards the door, followed by a "Muffliato," before placing his wand on the counter next to me.
He didn't waste any time, his hand moving to my thigh and squeezing it, while his mouth moved over my neck to pepper kisses all over it.
"You don't want to understand, huh?" He mocked, purposely biting down on a particularly sensitive area on my neck. I muffled a moan, my cheeks red at the way I was completely smitten by him before he even started. "Trust me, by the end of this you'll want nothing more but to be mine."
His words mixed with the way he gradually moved his hand up and under my skirt had my breath hitch, the sound making him smirk against my skin.
Unlike last time, as soon as his fingers arrived at my panties, he pulled them off. Not teasing me, not moving his fingers against the fabric first.
I heard myself gasp at the sudden, unexpected motion, earning me a single snicker from him. "You can't wait, can you?" He mused, his trail of kisses and love bites leading further and further down my stomach that had been exposed when he pulled my shirt up. "Just as needy as you were last time."
I scowled at his words, remembering our conversation the other day. Though, my sounds were quickly replaced by a sharp inhale of my breath as he pressed his fingers against my core.
His eyelids bat open to look up at me, an eyebrow cheekily quirked to subtly ask if I was truly okay with this. "How much did that water do?" He asked, inquiring how drunk I still was.
A smirk formed on my lips, knowing the alcohol pumping through my veins was replaced by the excitement of what was about to happen a long time ago. "Enough to know I don't want to wait another second—"
And then his finger slid inside at the same time as he began kissing the inside of my thigh, and I let out a shaky moan at the sensation that wasn't entirely new, though, just as good, if not better than the last time I felt it.
His pumps quickly picked up their pace before he, very unexpectedly, added a second finger, earning him a loud, unapologetic moan as I threw my head back in pleasure.
He enjoyed the way I squirmed underneath his touch, I could tell; using the sounds escaping my lips as encouragement before I felt an entirely new sensation between my legs.
My breathy whimpers filled the room when his tongue suddenly flicked against my clit, his fingers holding onto their pace. He chuckled at the series of noises and curse words coming from me, the vibration against my core only making them louder.
The rest alcohol still in my system had the room spinning in no time. The pleasure I felt mixing with the alcohol I drank, making this a million times better than last time.
"Draco, please don't stop—" I whimpered, feeling him do just that as he got up from his knees to look at me, his eyes hungry. "I want to come," I begged for relief, making him tut disapprovingly.
"Now, now," He smirked, his hands moving to unbuckle his belt before unbuttoning and unzipping his pants. "Let's see if you... learned." He leaned in closer, his lips grazing my ear to tease me.
Once again, he knew exactly what he was doing. Knew exactly what buttons he had to push to make me melt under his touch.
In between breaths that had also become shallow by now, he muttered a contraceptive charm; making me tingle at the thought of what was about to follow.
"Have you, Y/n?" He muttered, eyes dark as he aligned himself with my entrance. I bit my lip in anticipation, looking up at him with wide eyes as I waited for him to move, nodding to give him permission to do just that. "Learned?" He asked, followed by a groan as he pushed himself into me.
A loud moan escaped my lips as I tried my best to adjust to his size. He only gave me a couple of moments to do so this time, beginning to move not half as gently as he did last time.
His pace quickly picked up as he pounded into me, moans and groans alike filling the relatively small room.
His lips were hungrily moving against mine, biting my lower lip every now and then just to get a reaction out of me. My hands were buried deep inside his blond hair, and he groaned a little louder every time I tugged on it playfully.
"You're mine," He growled against my lips again, the following stroke deeper than the rest of them were, making me crumble underneath him.
I simply nodded. I wanted to be. I wanted to be if this is what being his would feel like. I wanted nothing more than that.
"Say it," He breathed heavily, his lips moving onto my neck to suck on the skin there. His strokes became deeper, more purposeful just at the thought of the words coming from my mouth in between a series of whimpers, and the realisation made me smirk slightly.
"I am," I moaned loudly, throwing my head back as he hit that spot within me. "I'm yours, Draco, I— fuck." Once he realised he found the spot I needed him to find, he made sure he didn't lose it again; hitting it with every stroke and making me a moaning mess underneath him, quickly growing closer to the sweet, sweet relief we both needed. "I love you, oh my—"
And right as the words left my mouth, I felt his body shake while his groans grew louder; the sound and the feeling of him letting go, making me reach my high, too.
We were both panting, a thin layer of sweat covering our bodies where they touched most. A smirk formed on his lips after he cleaned himself up, just as he pulled his pants back up.
- back to wholesome starting here -
"Told you," He hummed contently, holding out his hand to assist me in getting off the countertop. I winced when my feet hit the floor underneath me, only making the smirk on his face grow.
"Your means of achieving are, well, questionable," I huffed, looking around the bathroom to find my panties. He nodded towards the floor behind me, and I picked them up as quickly as I could.
Pulling them back up, I cringed slightly at the wet patch in them, and wondered whether it would've been acceptable to simply not wear them. Though, I ended up overcoming my discomfort in fear of flashing any of the others behind that door.
The others.
I froze at the thought of them, knowing that going back out there would one hundred percent be torture. Well, it's not like we had much of a choice.
I tried my best to look presentable, making Draco hide the marks he left on my body with a spell. He protested, at first, but gave in soon after. He unlocked the door afterwards and opened it with a loud sigh.
"There they are!" Wren cheered as soon as the door opened, all eyes snapping in our direction. "All sobered up, are you? Took you quite a while," She added, clearly amused.
My eyes scanned the room quickly, finding everything to be just like it was when we left—the only thing missing Blaise, who was nowhere to be seen.
"I mean, she was pretty fucked— well, fucked up," Draco shrugged, sitting down on his previous spot, though, this time, he pulled me onto his lap instead.
"Oh, I'm sure she was," Wren snickered, shaking her head in amusement as the rest of them let go of the laughter they were trying to hold in.
"Anyway, where were we?" Draco inquired, his eyes flickering in-between Pansy and Wren with a devious smirk on his lips. "Oh yeah— Wren, I dare you to kiss Pansy," He deadpanned, then. The only reason clearly to annoy my best friend.
While Pansy's face went scarlet, Wren just rolled her eyes.
"Piss off, Malfoy," She sneered, shaking her head in disbelieve now. Luna snickered humorously both at Draco's dare and Wren's reaction.
At this moment; the one where Draco snuck his arms around my waist carelessly, his and Wren's loud bickering in the background as I exchanged an amused smile with Luna, I probably felt content with everything for the first time in a very long time.
And I savoured every moment of it, knowing it might be the last time I did.
