"Ye ready?" Jack asked his daughter once he was dressed and sober enough to. Helping her button the last button on her dress.

Nara shook her head, hands trembling like a leaf as they tucked in hair. "To be honest? Not completely, no."

Jack chuckled. "Yer Mum was nervous too, don't tell anyone else- but so was I ."

She raised her eyebrow at that , a slight smile playing on her lips. "You, the great Captain Jack Sparrow. Was, nervous?"

He gave a sheepish nod. "Aye. I can face squid, Davey Jones, his locker, even ghosts. But there was one thing that I'd rather not."

"An' what was that?"

"Disappointment from yer mum- there were so many times that she believed in me. Even when I didn't always hold up to my word. An' yet, she still stayed.. I couldn't bare it to see it in her eyes that I had failed her, so I worked extra hard to make sure I'd never have to. Yerself on the other hand, are better than I am. So I'm sure you'll be fine an' have nothin' to worry about."

She sniffled at that, burying her head up against him as they enveloped in a hug. "Now don't go cryin' on me. " He mumbled affectionately. "You'll mess up my Kohl."

Nara chuckled quietly at that, glancing up at him. And wiping her eyes. "You are a good man you know," She told him. "That's part of why mum loved you so much."

Jack gave a shrug, though a soft smile was on his face. "There are some that don't think so."

"That's because they don't know you like we do." She commented.

The door was opened just then as someone cleared their throat. "Ready?" They questioned.

"Ready." They both agreed with one glance, heading out the door.

"Aye, cause they'll never be done with this sentimental stuff otherwise." Another voice joked playfully as a laugh echoed it .

"Seriously though, Captain Teague is waitin' The Crewmember chimed . "So let's get going."
