Was.... (A JackSparrowxOc)
Jack Sparrow stood on the deck of the Pearl, his hand fingering the tattered lace about his wrist. Remembering how he got it, but now she was gone..
The woman who had stole his heart had died years ago. Though the lace wasn't the only thing she had left him. They also had two daughters, he did have a son too. But he had died with her.. So they never had the chance to meet, or him to grow up. And be a proud pirate like his father was.
Was...
His fame had went out with his reputation, and now he was nothing more than a forgotten legend. To most anyways. To some, he was forever forged in their memory and that at times was a curse. As trouble never seemed to be far behind.
"Jack"....
Her soft voice echoed in his head and for a moment he thought he could see her. Just a glimpse, but it was enough..
"Jack "...
Her voice haunted him yet again, driving him mad till another broke it. Interrupting his delusional dream.
"Jack." The voice sounded again, though this time it was sharp and firm. Unlike his wife's, and much clearer to his fogged brain. "Jack, get up."
"Hmm?" Sparrow replied in a slight slur. "I am up."
Teague gave a chuckle at that, shaking his head. "Yer lyin' on the deck , drunk. I don't think that's up Jackie."
Only one person called him that.. "Dad?" Jack questioned groggily. Trying and failing to stand.
"Aye, it's me." Edward told him with a slight grin. Helping him up. "Ye've really got to work on how much drink you can contain."
His son gave a grin in return. "I can hold just as much as you can. " He boasted.
His father patted his shoulder, shaking his head again. "One day we'll test that theory, but not today Jackie. Yer too drunk to hold anymore alcohol. An tis a shame too, cause ye have a weddin' to go to."
"Weddin'? I love those." He replied, smiling slightly a little as he stood wobbly on his feet.
Teague chuckled with a sigh. "Yeah, I know, now go an' get cleaned up. Cause yer daughter's the one getting married."
"Hopefully this un will turn out better than the last!" Jack shouted across the ship with a grin as he reached his cabin door. "Or better yet , not cause they'll be more drinks to go around." He laughed.
"Dad!" A young woman's voice protested back as he finished his sentence.
Edward Teague just shook his head with a slight smile. Fixing his hat. Today was going to be a long day he knew that much for sure. Because with Jack around- there was trouble to be had for sure...
