She was all crawled up in a fetal position and was murmuring something in sleep . Her breathing was uneven .

She was dreaming of a specific incident which gave her nightmares back then and eventually she dumped them far and came a long way away from them .

But they don't leave us do they !! They picked this night to be the perfect to show up after years of rest .

She screeched all of sudden and sat upright sweating profusely and her breathing was laboured .

She blinked her eyes to snap her out of that nightmare and her door swung open and Arjun came running .

"Jenni .... Jenni Ena aachu ma " he asked looking clueless to the state she is . She gently looked at him with bloodshot eyes and laboured breathing .

He sat quietly beside her and offered her water from the bed side table . She gulped it in a go and tried to breathe normally .

He caressed her hair and hand repeatedly to ease her . He knew she had a nightmare but didn't knew that she would suffer this much .

He thanked God that he decided to rest here in her house today . After their lunch , they both headed to watch some movie and after that they went to a long drive along the beach shore and then returned back at 11 pm , both were dead tired .

So Jenni asked Arjun to rest here , he stayed many times here in another room , which actually has some of his things making it his room . And when he heard someone scream he came running to see what happened .

She slowly came back to normal breathing , but she was still not out of that bloody nightmare . Arjun was equally terrified , this is more intense than ever , it's been years since she had this much intense nightmare .

Arjun made her lay in his lap and caressed her hair . "Jenni" he called , she just hmmed . He sighed and kept her at ease .

After a good ten minutes , she sat upright . "Anna..." She called and teared up . "Jenni Ena ma aachu solra pls " He asked .

"Athu .... Athu ... " she stuttered . He took her hand , "It's okay enta thaan solra , Elamey solidu it will be over then , inum ethana varsham solama irupa " he asked his voice cracking .

"This specific nightmare I thought it was over but .... " Jenni cracked . He gulped and caressed her hair making her know that she is here and not in the nightmare .

"The only source which kept him at bay was you , Avan unaku bayapaduvan knjm . But you completed your studies and you passed out . Apa start Panan avanoda total true colours kaata ! " She said crying and he felt a pang in his heart. He always feared the year , he wanted to protect her but he couldn't then .

"It was event day , as me being the culturals co ordinator I was busy running around rechecking things ..."

"Apa thaan avana pathen , he was making out with someone , yaarunu kooda terla ..." She broke . "But by that time elamey palagiduchu enaku ... even him making out with random people . Athunala nan poidalam nu pogarathukulla ... His friends came ... " She broke more .

Frnd1 : Paarah cultural secretary Inga irukartha

Jenni started to move ignoring their talks as she never liked anyone of those as they were always the pain in the ass who feeds all thought's to Karthik .

But before she could go , they peeped inside the empty classroom and found Karthik making our with some random girl and understood Jenni saw that and was leaving .

How could they let her go away with something like that .

Jenni literally wanted to run out of the place hearing those filthy words coming out of those persons . Sensing her uncomfortableness they started smirking .

And Karthik stopped his make out session and came out to see who the hell disturbed him during his pleasure time . He found Jenni there but didn't react much as she found him with new persons every week.

He turned towards his friends , "Ethuku da Suma Inga ninnutu pesitu irukeenga Ena prechana" he asked clearly annoyed. 

His friends knew better of him , they wanted to use this opportunity to do something better .

Jenni was stunned to hear those , she actually didn't give a shit about his behaviour but these bastards here totally flipped the coin .

Karthik was hella pissed , and turned towards Jenni . Jenni gulped knowing how much he hates her now .

"Karthik , it's not what they said ... Nan ... Event kaga check panitu vanthapa ... Pathen ... But I was leaving ... " She stuttered .

"Chi niruthu " he roared , she flinched hearing it . His temper was sky high now and in no way she is gonna escape now .

"Vai koosama poi solra , athan en frnds elamey solrangaley aprm uhm en poi solra" he roared . She literally started shaking fearing the worst would take place .

He slapped her hard , she winced in pain . "Epdi en uyira edukavey varuvaya cha unta maatitu nan padra kashtam irukae " saying he slapped her more hard this time that she fell on rhe floor with her lips bleeding a little this time .

And then what he started doing was the least she expected from him . He started accusing her character .

"Nee poitu Evan Evan koodayo pesura , Avan unna thottu pesuran Elam Nalla santhosham ah thana iruka chaii solavey vaai koosuthu ana nee panitu suthura" he roared and kicked her hard in her stomach .

She started crying holding her stomach . She was still contemplating why he was angered this much for such accuse from his friends and now he is assassinating her character .

She sobbed more , and he became more furious and started beating her until she winced more and more . And at one stage she started shivering and he left her there and went away .

But his words , his actions everything made her wriggle into fetal position clutching her stomach due to pain and she cried out until there was no more tears to shed .

And as if God had sent , boy cultural secretary came searching for her and found her . He came ans saw her in that position and he was shocked was an understatement. 

He quickly helped her into the classroom and his friends came with water and they helped her clean the wound and made her sane from that .

They asked her to leave and take rest . But she denied and decided to stay though she was still in pain with all those bruises and pains .

But which pained her more was his words and that intensity . He said she let everyone touch her badly but the truth is these people who are now in front of her are the people who always tend to her whenever he thrashes her .

"Thanks , epayum neenga thaan help pandringa " she said calmly with not much of words coming out due to pain .

They were a small gang of friends , three boys and two girls who stick together and helped her whenever she needed .

"Jenni , ithulam vidu romba Vali iruka en d ipdi avana Elam pana vidra antha bastard ah" one girl hissed seeing her in pain while Jenni just holded her hand and nodded a no .

They sighed , "En Jenni ipdi unna neeyae kaaya paduthikara" other girl said in between her tears .

Jenni was crying all the while but the people beside her were the only handle she has to now before falling into the ground and cry her life out .

She then decided it would be better to go home and all accepted it . "Thanks Aadhi "  Jenni said to the boy cultural secretary who just smiled again and told her to rest .

Flashback ends

"Anaiku anga irunthu vegama poitu apartment ulla poitu apdi azhuthen Vali thaanga mudiyama manasulayum seri , physical ah vhum seri . " She broke again .

"I still remember the intensity he hit me that day , the nightmare is usually , this , he will beat the shit out of me while assassinating my character and I'll lay there helpless" she said her heart out .

Arjun was sitting there like a statue but his eyes were bloodshot and tears were rolling down his cheeks .

He sincerely wanted to kill Karthik . But now his sister needs him more than anything .

He hugged her and she cried out more and he was crying too but he made her calm by saying and assuring her that won't happen again .

After a brief time , she subsided her sobs and looked at Arjun who was now more broke than ever , his eyes were puffy and bloodshot , his jaws tightened .

"Anna" she called and his features loosened a bit . "Jenni , I'm sorry , I'm so so sorry that I couldn't be there when you went through this and I never knew this I'm so sorry da " he cried again .

She just laid in his lap and said "It was not your fault at any point Arjun , Elam nan thaan , avana poi Nambi kadasila ena nan hurt panikitathu thaan micham , you were always there for me da , nee Aadhi and friends ta ena pathi solama poiruntha avangalum thoorama thaan irunthu irupanga unala thaan avanga anaiku help pananga thanks to you " she said calmly .

"Jenni ... " He said and she sat straight . "Thanks for sharing this da , ena Nambi itha sonathuku thanks , oru Anna na ithuku aprm unaku ethuvum aagama nan paathupen it's my promise okay " he said between his tears and she smiled looking at him .

She felt a weight lifted from her after she said everything out . It felt good to share that with someone and that someone won't use it against her ever . She felt light hearted after that conversation with his brother .

"Thanks Arjun , I feel better now , nalla Vela nee Inga iruntha and I told you today illana ema aagirukum Ney terla " she said smiling .

He just nodded smiling and made her sleep again . He caressed her head for the last time that day and stood up to leave .

"Thanks Anna" she said again and he smiled controlling his tears . He went and stood at the room entrance seeing her again . She slept there like a baby free of emotions now .

He sighed and went to his room but sleep was far away from him . He processed everything she said . She never once shared what caused her the nightmares .

But after knowing , he felt very bad and he was angered to the core . He really wanted Karthik to pay for it.

He carefully thought all those and slowly sleep engulfed him but not before he called someone and planned something .
