"Pepper!!" I yelled as I caught her. She was unconscious and lying in my arms. I then went straight to the phone and dialed 911. "Help me!! My pregnant girlfriend just passed out!!" The man in the phone told me to put her on the bed and take her shirt off. Then to get an ice pack and put in on her stomach. "The ambulance will be there soon." He said calmly. I went over to Pepper and took her in my arms and put her on the bed. I took her shirt off and got an ice pack. About 3 minutes later, about 5 guys came in the room and saw Pepper on the bed. They lifted her up and put her on a stretcher that was outside the room. "Is she going to be okay?!" I asked as I got in the medical truck. "She has a virus that affects the stomach. Are you guys from around here?" He asked. "No, we are here with 5 more people. We are from New York City." "That explains it. When people who are pregnant come to this kind of area, they tend to get a virus like this. It's not going to kill her or the baby. But she will be in extreme pain for the rest of the 3 months she has left. When we get to the hospital, I'll put her in a room, she is stable, but we'll keep her in there until all the test are complete. Don't worry, she's in safe hands." I sighed in relief. Then she suddenly got up and started screaming. "Ma'am!!! You need to lay down!!!!" She held her stomach like it was a ball. She was now lying down. "Tony!" She said in between the sweat. "Hey baby! I'm right here." She smiled a little and then started screaming again. We got to the hospital and they rushed her into the place. I didn't see what happened next but I knew that she would be okay. I walked around the hospital and saw Steve and Nat talking in front of Bucky's room. "Tony?" Steve called out. Natasha turned around and saw me. "Hey guys" Steve looked at me and knew something was wrong. "Tony, where is Pepper?" "She is in surgery. She has a virus that affected her stomach. But she'll be okay. "Tony! I'm so sorry!" Nat said. She came over to me and gave me a hug. "Don't worry, she'll be fine." I turned when I heard Maria's shrill scream. "Bucky," she exclaimed, "you have to sit down." Bucky leaned against the doorframe, "Hey Tony, what's up." Maria finally caught up to him, "Is Pepper okay?" "Yeah," I replied, "the virus didn't get to the baby." I jumped when the doctor came behind me, "Mr. Stark," he said, "Ms. Potts is fine, but she's in a lot of pain, she keeps asking for you." I walked away from Nat, Steve, Bucky and Maria, straight to Pepper's to room. "Hey baby," I said as I entered the room, "I'm here." "Tony," she replied. "Now why do you think," I asked, "that I'd leave you?" Pepper laughed a little, but then she screamed in pain. "Pepper," I said, "did the Doctor say when you could come home?" "In a couple days. Their trying to get it out. But they haven't found a cure yet." She looked at me and then winced. "It's going to be okay. We'll get through this."
