I woke up with tubes on my hands and chest and my insides feeling like they got dumped upside down. Maria was there her hand was over my but she was sleeping. Then I remembered everything that happened. I asked offered the deal and he accepted, but then he said that he no longer needed me and stabbed me with a knife, a really big knife. I moved my hand and I saw Maria wake up. "Bucky!" She said almost relieved. "Hey are are you?" She said as she went and poured a glass of water. "I've had better days." I said with a smile. "What happened?" I asked. "Well first you came into the ER about dead and then a doctor that studied Zemos work brought you back. You went into cardiac arrest..." She said trailing off. "Maria?" She blinked a tear back and said, "I love you. You missed a lot! Steve and Nat are engaged and Pepper is pregnant!" "Geez, you guys really need me!" I said. I laughed a little but I couldn't for long. "Ow" I said out loud. "Be careful! You're going to pull out all you stiches. You need rest. I'll be here if you need anything, and please, just be okay. Alright?" I smiled. "Alright my light, I love you." I looked at her and every part of my cold body became warm. "Maria," I said, "I hope you sleep sometime."
