Liveliness was almost sentient when the festival arrived in Coral's town, the Dragon King's sons would attend every year and if you were lucky sometimes they would notice you, Coral had never been seen by the three brothers before and the fourth never attended but just as the town had become more alive so did her hope. Now her hope wasn't to be noticed, she hoped that during the festival every year that the princes wouldn't notice her but everyone else did, to see her dance. So she would jump on roofs and skip through the people until seeing the dance on the streets and everyone watching, of course across all the dresses and music sat the three princes. Without another thought Coral took off her shoes and began to dance, skipping and twirling with a large smile. usually, she would be singing or making rhythms to dance to but with the festival music it was different, she could just dance and lose herself in the music.

Every now and again Coral peeked through her eyelashes to see a few people throw some coins into her cup which only encouraged her to smile and dance more, she had felt eyes on her but someone must have been glaring because suddenly the hair on her neck rose and she felt like she was being burned.

"You're a beautiful dancer." Coral snapped her eyes open to be standing almost at the feet of a man before her, a very large and scary man in fact. Covered in scars across his chest and almost burning a hole into Coral by gazing so intensely, she smiled and thanked him before being pulled by her wrist into the crowd. Falling into a dance with the stranger so her feet didn't get trampled, only stopping her attempts to pull away when he gazed into her eyes. "Dance with me, you won't regret it." He slipped a bracelet onto her wrist and she knew it was worth a thousand coins she would make in a month, so she bit down on her thoughts took a deep breath and danced.
