Next day

The buzzing sound from my phone woke me up from my deep slumber.

After Manik walked out of my room I didn't bother to step out my room. Someway I have to handle Manik before it goes out of my hands.

Constant buzzing of my phone 📱 brought me out of trance.

Oh mom was calling me !
she must be worried for me.  Stupid me
I didn't called her
I attended the call

Mom:oh god Nandu why didn't u picked up my calls

Nan: sorry mom .i was tired so
        tell me how are you and dad?

Mom: as usual ur dad is getting irritated even with small things . you know na how much he wants to see you every time

it's true that dad loves me so much that he wants to see me all the time
In his words I am his lucky charm
His day star with giving forehead kiss to him and end with one too

Oh !I miss my superman

After talking to my mom I assured that I would call dad after
sometime

I have to go college after a week ,and so many things have to be done .A knock pulled me out from my thoughts .
It was the maid who informed that nyoma was calling me for breakfast

Hurry up Nandu !

I ran into bathroom after finishing my bath and morning chores I wrapped  a fluffy towel on my body and stepped outside of the bathroom .

Next thing is most difficult for me that is choosing my so called out fit.
Sighing I moved towards closet . After scratching my head I chose a black jeans and a white top which have an embroidery work.
After wearing accessories and  applying some minimal makeup I moved towards downstairs.

I greeted teddy (dadu) with a peck on his cheeks who were sitting on dining table along with uncle
While nyoma was serving to them. I also wished them by taking a chair near dadu.

Nyoma served my favourite breakfast. Instantly my mouth filled with water on seeing such a delicious food ,being not able to control I took a morsel and moaned in delight .

I was busy in relishing  food 🥘 didn't noticed the intense gaze which were burning holes in my head.
But when I couldn't bear but looked up only to find The Manik Malhotra.

He was coming towards us in his morning glory .

He was wearing a white tee paired with a denim jeans and and a dark blue blazer
His hair was perfectly gelled .

I was so busy in staring at him that I missed his drool worthy smirk.

When he caught me shamelessly ogling at him I turned my face and started digging in my food .

he went brushing my back erupting some sparks inside me and greeted  everyone including me which I replied not meeting his eyes .

He took the next place to mine , so
much to my annoyance .

He didn't leave any chance to touch me sometimes it really annoyed me whenever he asked things to pass it to him and he deliberately brushed his hand with mine.
Sometimes I glared at him but he had no effect .He winked at me making me stunned at my place.

For god sake we are sitting in front of our family
I looked around,fortunately no one noticed us .

Suddenly
Dadu  started conversation,

Dadu:what are your plans Nandu ?

Nan: "Not much dadu I want to roam around this city before joining to college also I want to meet my friends "

Nyoma : "oh great !
Manik can show you around this citybeside you will enjoy his company .Manik do you have any problem with this "

Manik: "oh no mom I'm free to go with her ",He exclaimed .

Nandu:" it's okay Manik u don't need to I can manage ".I refused him and I can sense he was blazing with anger

Nyoma: "dear it's not safe to go out alone when u r new to this city ",
I can't deny nyoma and at last
I agreed to her

After finishing my breakfast I hurried towards my room to get
my purse.

After collecting my purse I went towards parking area and was looking around to spot that monster,When someone pulled and caged me  in his embrace.
A warm breath fanned near my ear giving tingles
