After  a week

Manik pov

It has been a week since nandu has arrived. Well her arrival is a change for my life a beautiful change .after seeing her in the airport I resisted my urge to take her in my arms and hide her from the outside world.

All I want her to feel my love, love me back like I do, create so many memories. I wanted to know her expression of seeing me but before that, a wicked idea came to my mind ie, pretending to be cabir.
But soon it ended coz of mom  

The first night after her arrival was so much peaceful for me, after all my missing part of the heart were back to me.

Until this year my heart craved for her. The fact she is near to me calmed my heart to an extent and it will be in peace when she is in my arms.

Can't help but a smile made a way on my lips on imagining that

I can still remember the drooling session of Nandini. I know I am hot, girls used to drool over me but I never felt like responding to them.But when I felt her gaze on me I felt jitters on my body.
I couldn't help smirks at her and that moment I was feeling proud of myself on my looks for the first time.

I thought that day was a lucky one for me due to the outing with Nandu, but it turned into a bad one because of that Abhimanyu. Later
I  regretted behaving rudely with Nandu.

I know I am behaving like a jerk.But what can I do, I'm little possessive about my things and when it comes to Nandu, it gets out of my hand. After so many years I am feeling her presence, I don't wanna lose her

The thought itself is making me insane

This week passed in a blur mostly Nandu was spending her time with daadu and mom. Whenever I approached her, she used to make excuses. I decided to give her own space understanding her mind.

I spent the most time with fab5, we have to perform in SPACE to welcome freshers and this year special to me (you know the reason). Every night I sneaked into her room and drops a good night kiss on her forehead without her knowledge.

Next day, morning
Nandini was usually busy in her beauty sleep but those naughty sun rays were teasing her, soon that alarm clock too joined. Frustrated, she got up and thrown it into a corner, but soon she jumped out of bed and squealed in the excitement, realising it was her first day of college.

She got up and ran inside the bathroom after a good bath, she wears her dress which was gifted by nyoma.

After applying some makeup and she took her clutch and moved towards downstairs.

Manik was already present with his dad mom and daadu and they were having breakfast.
She wished a good morning and took her seat beside dadu.

nyonika exclaimed seeing her,
Nyoma: oh dear you are looking so beautiful, like a doll

Dadu: you are right nyonika she's gonna give a hard time to boys

Everyone laughed at his comments except Manik.

He got up from his seat and quickly washed his hands and without saying anything he marched through the hallway.Everyone was confused about Manik's behaviour.

Nandini finished her breakfast and took her clutch and necessary things for the college. She reached the car parking area and noticed that car was waiting for her, without noticing the driver she took the back seat.

But a voice made her startled .it was from Manik. She stared at him in confusion as daadu informed that driver will drop her in college

Manik: Do I need to repeat again, Come and sit here

He said with a stern voice pointing towards the front seat.

Nandini quickly sits in front seat not want him to pick her as he did before that day.

Manik started to drive a silent was present among them but it was broken by Nandini when Manik suddenly stopped the car in the middle of the road.

Nandu: why did you stop the car Manik. Look they are yelling.

People were shouting and honking at them for blocking the road.

But Manik was clutching the steering to control his anger.
From the moment daadu teased Nandini, anger was building in his mind on imagining the scene how would be the gazes of boys on seeing Nandini.

But his anger got calmed down when a soft touch on his shoulder he looked at the hand, it was Nandini she was worriedly looking at him.she thought Manik was not feeling okay that's why he stopped the car.

Nandu: Manik what happened
Are you okay?

Manik: yeah I'm okay.
he said and intertwined her fingers with him.

Nandu: then what happened ?start the car, we are blocking the way

Manik: No
He said calmly and leaned into his seat and closed his eyes

Nandu: WHAT!!, have you gone mad, what is your problem?

Manik: my problem is your dress

Nandu: my dress what's wrong with them?
she said scrunching her nose and looked at her dress.

Manik: they are not covering your beautiful legs. I don't want anyone to look at the way I do
He said and caressed her hands

Nandu: seriously. You are insane
I will wear what I want, you are no one to say about that.

Manik: oh then it's okay we are going to spend our first day of College in the middle of the road.
Isn't it awesome?

In these time the traffic police had arrived and started knocking the glass door to open. Seeing this Nandini let out a frustrated sigh and nodded her in approval and not wanting to be late on her first day. But seeing no movement from Manik she was about to yell at him but it got stuck in her mouth by a sudden peck on her cheek by Manik

She stared at him in shock and palmed her cheek.

Manik winked at her and said naughtily,

Manik: I didn't wish you good morning, so it was a compensation

A slight blush adorned her face before he could tease her, the knocking became harsh. Manik got out of the car, but seeing Manik and knowing the Influences of Malhotra industry, that traffic police didn't say anything and allowed Manik to go with his vehicle
He got inside of the car and drove to SPACE.
