Chapter 6: Dumbfounded Date

Drinnnnggg!!

I jump from my seat in excitement to leave from this horrendous time spent in a box.

"Whose there?!" Mrs. Adolf jumps off her desk and positioned her hands in a karate cop and examined the room. When she realized that she was a sleep and that she was still in school she had an embarrassed expression before clearing her throat. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the imagine drawn on her face. I slowly high fived Sam and gave him a nod to which he winked at me. I roll my eyes before exiting the room.

"Wait up!" I hear him shout from the halls. I turn around and stop in my tracks as Sam was running towards me.

"Yeah?" I say when he stops in front of me with that gorgeous smile of his. I smile back and run my hands through my hair.

"That was pretty cool what you did in there." He laughs pointing at the detention room. I shrug like it was nothing because I've did more advanced pranks than draw something on someone's face. If you'd ask me, I'd say it's a step one from the low pranks zone.

"So, what are you doing this Friday night?" He asked me shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Um, probably go to my brothers apartment so that I can annoy him and try to flirt with his roommate or just watch a The Vampire Diaries or try to TP someone house." I shrug going off with the list that I usually do Friday night.

"Huh." He says smiling. "What do you say you'd want to try something new for a change?" He asks with a smirk.  I eyes lit up at that thinking of many things: jumping off a cliff,  spray painting school property at night in those ninja uniforms.

"Sure!" I say all excited. Sam nods his head giving me a kiss on my cheek and gives me one last dashing smile and says a quick 7 before leaving.

"Finally! I have plans!" I mutter excited for the adventure.

"Are you that stupid?" I hear I voice from behind me. I gently jump at the familiar deep voice that somehow also gives me shivers. I turn around to face Jayden and give him a big dashing smile.

"Hi!" I say waving at him but sadly he doesn't wave back.

"You know that guy was asking you on a date right?" Jayden raises an eyebrow at me.

"Huh?" I say dumbfounded.

"The what are you doing Friday night question. The kiss, the 7?  He just asked you on a date and you agreed." Jayden said with an amusement in his eyes but u saw another emotion that he was hiding.

"What? No! He just wanted to make plans. As friends stupid." I say walking over to him and touching his head as I called him stupid. Jayden shook his head and he walked closer and touched my head.

"No. He was asking you out stupid." He said lowly looking me in the eyes as he said that. I blinked at him as I noticed how beautiful his eyes were then his nose then his lips. I licked my lips as I stared at his lips and slightly leaned in.

"So, you're basically going out with a jerk. Congrats!" He says immediately. I jumped back a bit slightly confused with what I was just about to do. Did he notice? Oh my god! I WAS JUST ABOUT TO KISS JAYDEN IF HE HADN'T SPOKEN!

"Thea?" He asks waving a hand in front of my face.

"No. I can't go out with him! What am I going to wear! What am I going to say? What am I g-"

"Thea." Jayden said again stoping me. I looked at him and remembered what just happened before we had detention.

"Listen. What happened today don't worry I won't-"

"I know you won't." He cut me off again. I give him a smile and a nod while he nods back.

"Thea!" I hear Olivia call my name and my head immediately snapped in the direction to where she was currently running towards me. I saw sprinkles of tears at the edge of her eyes, when she was closer to me she enveloped me into a hug and started to sob in my arms.

"Olivia?" I said after she had been hugging me for a minute while she'd been crying.

"Claws. Broke. Up. With. Me!" She said between sobs. "He told me he had something to tell me after school and apparently he just broke up with me!"

"Just like that?" I asked her feeling a raged feeling in my stomach. She nods her head and wipes her eyes. I turn back behind me to see if Jayden was there anymore but he wasn't. He must have left when Olivia came running to me.

"That- that Scumbag!" I say turning back to Olivia talking about Claws. I knew that he was a no good fat head but didn't want to say anything because Olivia was crazy about him. They've been dating since last year and also spent summer together, and he breaks up with her? Well, it's not going to be that easy for him anyway. He's gonna get what he deserves.

"I know. I can't believe him. He even told me he loved me!" She says wiping her nose. I shush her and I hug her as we walk together toward the school exit.

Claws won't know what hit him.
