We were not siblings anymore, we were friends. Part of me hated that, part of me actually liked that. I am a good actor, that's why people don't know I think Chase is cute. I always did. He probably has no feelings for me in that geeky head of his. Oh well.

Chase's POV

When Bree told Adam and I we were separate families, I was astonished. Oh I guess you can't use my vocabulary on you guys. You won't understand what's going on in my head. I was...surprised. Ya that's the word. Mostly because I liked Bree. She was beautiful, funny, and she was just perfect! Too perfect. She doesn't like me. I doubt it. I can live with it though. Hopefully...

School was finally over. I wanted to test Bree's emotions. I saw her talking with Leo and decided to get close to her. "Hey ladies," I said to both Leo and Bree.

"Seriously Chase?" Leo said giving me a plain look. I smiled. "Ya, really."

We had some small talk, while I inched my way towards Bree. She sensed it after a while and she got uncomfortable. That's strange. I wonder why? What are the possibilities?

Likes personal space?

Hates me?

Likes- oh that ones just silly. I'll find out sooner or later. I backed away from her. And she seemed more comfortable.

I guess she really doesn't like me. Oh what did I expect? Her to fall in love with me? I was dreaming from cloud nine.

Adam was in the simulator kicking and throwing the imaginary people. He looked funny as he was thrown onto the ground with invisible force. Bree kept a safe distance from me. She thought it was awkward now. I could see it.

I focused back on Adam as he ended the test. It was my turn. I did pretty good but my mind was on Bree. She was so beautiful it wasn't fair. I would protect her. No matter what.
