I woke up expecting to be trapped and captured in Shadow's lab. Instead I found myself lying on my own house's floor. Bree was next me, still unconscious. Why would we be back at home? Wouldn't he want to demolish us? It got me frustrated. Back at square one. He probably changed locations and moved to another top secret location. Let me see if I can track them down.

Ze-

What? Why isn't it working? Maybe I did it wrong.

Ze-

How is that even- What? I don't get it! Gah!

"Hu?" Bree mumbled as she came to. "What are we doing here?"

"Shadow sent us back," I growled. "And he disconnected my new ability."

I stood up and jogged to the lab. We need a new plan.

When I made it to the lab Bree was already there. The buttons she pressed told me she looked for any signals of Leo's location. I decided to help her.

We spent a whole hour looking for any signal possible. Frustration ran over Bree like a heat wave and she was soon speeding around in frustration.

"Where could he possibly be?" She cried. "That's it I'm speeding around the world till I find him."

With that one sentence she took of with a speed I have never encountered. I got back to work but as always, made no success.

Zeeeeeeez.

Chase? Zeeeeeez. Do you read me?

The voice was coming from my head. I'm smart and I know it's not possible to have a conscience like that. What's happening?

It's Leo. I found a way to communicate to you, through brain activity.

I froze. How was this even possible. Well, it's possible he focused just the right amount to unlock a new ability, but nows the the time for questions. Where are you?

I'll send you the locations, but it's okay if you take your time. I'm getting more information from Shadow than he thinks.

In an instance I knew where Leo was. Way underground.

I was about to contact Bree when she rushed into the Lab. She looked crazier than ever and she had new clothes on. A whole pink outfit.

"Don't ask," she said. "I couldn't find Leo though."

"That's okay," I said. "I know where Leo is."

I explained to her the story and she was as confused as I was, but didn't ask anything. We suited up for our new mission and were about to leave when...

"No, I have a probe that can go out there, fight Shadow, save Leo, and bring Adam back here so I can fix him," Mr. Davenport cried.

"Mr. Davenport, we can save him," I told him making clear eye contact.

"Ya," Bree backed me up. "Just because we were beaten once doesn't mean we can't try again."

"No," he demanded. "I know you're capable, but I can handle this as well as you can."

Bree and I both opened out mouths to protest once again but he cut us off.

"No!" Mr. Davenport yelled. "You're staying here. Whether you like it or not."
