- Dream, why do you want black boots? I thought you liked dark blue.- the golden crowned stared with internal confusion at the blue scarfed skeleton.

- They are dark blue.- the salesman and Blue looked at the small skeleton nervously, sweat going down on their heads - What? They are... Or not?- he asked.

Blue got closer, hands clasped together - They are mostly black instead of dark blue...- he replied. Dream looked at the boots again, for a small second one of his pupils sparked.

- Can I still keep them?-

- Sure.- the salesman smiled - It's 60G.- added.

The dreamer searched on his old clothes the money, finding a few coins - Damn, I have only 40G.- the smaller cursed under his breath, Blue touched his pockets and grabbed more coins to complete the amount to pay.

- Here.- Blue gave his coins and Dream's coins to the salesman, getting a thanks from the older man.

Both left the shoe store with the new boots for Dream, the smaller placed his old clothes in a box given by the salesman meanwhile he walked with his new clothes and shoes on. Blue guided the smaller skeleton to the middle of the shopping, where the huge opening was.

They sat close to the borders of the place, grabbing the menus and trying to choose what to eat for the middle morning - What are you going to have? I am between croissaint or some cheesecake with coffee.- Blue said.

- ... I have n—

- I'm paying.-

- ...- Dream stared at the menu - Cold tea... With tiramisu.- Blue smiled and when the waitress came to them, he told her what would they want. When she left with the menus in hand, the blue eyed skeleton looked at his friend that was playing with his fingers.

- You okay, Dreamy?- he questioned with worry.

- I'm fine... Just... Amused.- he mumbled, his face didn't show any expression but the blueberry could tell that the golden eyed never had a friendly hangout and/or a friend at all, excluding Nightmare, of course.

|| A little far away from them ||

A skeleton with empty eyesockets was looking at the duo meanwhile they waited for someone to come. They stared at the one with a golden crown and golden eyelights, is the first time they see someone with such a lack of emotion (or at least a lack of showing it) and they tried to analyze why he is like that.

He has a similar name of Nightmare's twin and a similar appearance but he is not behaving like the king described. Maybe an impostor? A copy created by Ink?

- Psst, Killer.- a half human and half robot appeared out of nowhere behind the skeleton. The aforementioned turned around to look at them - I found what you wanted.- they walked next to the empty eyed skeleton - He is Nightmare's twin. Confirmed by Error himself.-

- Really?- Killer looked at the dreamer - He doesn't behave like a cheerful person. In fact, he behaves like a cold blooded person that pretends to become part of the society.- he commented.

- I have an answer for that.- the robotic human took off a paper from their pocket and gave it to the skeleton - According to the information found here, Ink said that he was a threat to the multiverse because he is a slut that kills people after having sex with them.- the robot turned to look at the skeleton with golden crown - I am 100% sure that it is a lie. Considering who said that description.-

- ... Mmm...- Killer read the paper carefully - Bet my two favourite knives that Ink abused him or sent someone to do it.- he looked at his informant - What did Error said?-

- Error only said that he is the real Dream, he saw his soul. He behaves like that since 15 years ago, his aura is gone thanks to Magetale, he didn't tell why he did it though.- the robot sighed - In any case, he is Nightmare's twin and whatever the bastard did, was cruel enough to switch totally Dream's former self.- they pointed out, receiving a nod from the skeleton.

- Yeah, I can see.- he sighed and stared back at the golden crowned skeleton that was eating his food - I am gonna follow him for a while.- muttered.

- Suit yourself.- the robot mumbled.

• Minutes later •
|| Back with Blue and Dream ||

They finished their food, paid and left to go back to Dream's house. They passed by the supermarket and bought a few items before going back to Undertale.

When they arrived Dream's home, Blue suggested for umpteenth time that they should fix the house, find a new one or demolish and rebuild it. But, the smaller skeleton didn't believe it was bad, he thought it was perfectly fine.

- Dream. Seriously, I love you but please...- Blue begged - This house will fall down in any second, with or without you inside and with or without help of someone else.- he commented with worry - Come on, I can rebuild it and you can stay in Safety meanwhile.-

- But it looks fine.- suddenly, half of the roof from his small bedroom falls down - ... Well, nothing is perfect.-

- Dream, I am a peaceful person. But I am taking risky meassures if you don't.- Blue inhaled - I am gonna call your brother.-

- No!- Dream yelled and quickly covered his mouth - I mean...- he looked down - Please, don't. I will let you rebuild this but please don't call him.-

(Normal people threatening the kids when they disobey: I'm gonna call your parents.
Blue threatening Dream when he is stubborn: I'm gonna call Nightmare.)

Blue hugged the dreamer, comforting him in a brotherly embrace, pretty much ressembling Nightmare's hugs - Don't worry, I wasn't going to call him. Maybe Error.- he giggled, receiving a playful hit on the arm - Okay, okay, I'm kidding. Anyways, I think I know a good small house for your comfort.- he commented.

• Three doritos later •
▪︎Safety▪︎

- Here.- Blue showed the smaller a medium/small house. It was a simple little house, only one floor, a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom and a small living room. It wasn't too huge but it wasn't as small as Dream's old house. It was also close to a forest, to make the golden eyed more comfortable.

- ... Is pretty.- he looked around the flowers - But I hate the yellow and light pink flowers.-

- We can replace them with something else.- he suggested - Anyways. Let's check inside. You can organize later to place a few of your stuff and then take a shower!- he said excited.

Dream stared at him for a few seconds, an internal question popping out of nowhere - ... What's a shower?- he asked. With that Blue passed out, the golden crowned kneeled and shook the taller skeleton - Blue, wake up... Blue... You didn't tell me what a shower is...-

• Time skip after Blue woke up •

Finally, after explaining what a shower is, Dream and Blue began decorating a little the house, placing some food on the kitchen and ordering the bedroom - This feels like Minecraft.- the smaller mumbled, getting giggles from the taller one.

- You play Minecraft?- he questioned between giggles - I thought that you wouldn't know what it is after you asked what a shower is.-

- ... In Minecraft, the showers doesn't exist.- the golden eyed answered - But, yeah. I do play it. I got interested after seeing one of my victims playing it.- he mumbled.

Blue looked curiously at the dreamer - Really? And where do you play it?- Dream took out a laptop with small blood drops on it - So you play it on a stolen notebook from a dead person.- he stated as a matter of fact, receiving a nod.

- I like it.- a small blush formed on Dream's unexpressive face, Blue smiled and stroked his skull with tenderness. The golden eyed left the laptop between some clothes and turned around, giving a hug to the blueberry - ... Thanks for helping me.- he mumbled against the taller's blue scarf.

Blue hugged the smaller back with a smile - No worries, Dreamy.- he stroked his skull again - I'm here if you need anything.-

- ...- Dream hid his face on the scarf "... You remind me of Nightmare." he thought.
