Lloyd tells Conor about his story and where he came from

Conor Comforts Lloyd

Lloyd starts getting worried about his scar and past abuse hoping Conor nor his friends will find out.

While Conor is worried about Lloyd finding out about Erdas Secrets

Conor: 'If Lloyd is new here, I wonder what he is going to think about humans bonding with animals, does he get a nectar ceremony, will he be scared of the wild animals, hopefully, he'll learn to love this word and its secrets'.

Now

After hours on end of walking, Conor and Lloyd finally reach the campground

Conor: Lloyd here we are, this is our camping spot, but we do move a lot so we won't just be camping here.

Lloyd: Finally, jeez you sure walked a fair way, why did you walk so far

Conor: I went to scout ahead for any danger, but the only thing I found was you.

Lloyd: That makes sense in away.

As he observed the campground he notices three people, the girl looked like warrior, her sparkling eyes, her sword on her side, but she looked like the kind of girl not too mess with, the other girl, was dark skin she looked more friendly, her striking eyes and her bow and arrow on her side, Lloyd assumed she was a hunter, and than his eyes landed on the tanned boy who was scoffing his face full of stew, Lloyd tried hard not to laugh, since his stuffed face did look quite humorous. He was quite handsome like Conor but has tanned skin, brown hair and eyes, and quite tall for his age. After looking for a while, he felt weird and looked away, hoping not to meet their eye.

Meilin: Conor who is this, and why did you bring him here, you never know he could be disguised as a conqueror.

Conor: Meilin calm down, he isn't a conqueror, he can tell you himself, go on introduce yourself

Lloyd: Oh.. yeah right, greeting my name is Lloyd, and I am from Australia, which is on Earth.

Meilin observed him for a while, and after a while, she calmed down and smiled. "Names Meilin, from Jano Rion, Zhong. Over there is Abeke from Okaihee, Nilo. While bird brains over there is Rollan he is from Concorba Amaya.

Abeke welcomed Lloyd with a warm smile and waved. While Rollan eyed Lloyd carefully, and smirked, and just like Abeke, he welcomed Lloyd as well.

Lloyd: Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I must admit I don't know anything about this place.

Abeke: Perhaps I can explain, while you and Conor join us for supper.

Just like that, they all sat around the campfire, eating supper. Abeke explained to Lloyd about their world, about the bonding of humans and animals, about the war and conquerors, Abeke explained pretty much everything about Erdas, and Lloyd caught on pretty quick.

Lloyd: So, in Erda's humans and wild animals can become partners, but how do you bond with the animals, cause I'm pretty sure a lion would just hunt you down, not giving you second thought of becoming partners.

Rollan laughed at Lloyd's comment and Lloyd blushed and looked away, Conor saw this and interrupted and explained to Lloyd about the nectar ceremony.

Conor: At the age of 11 you receive the nectar of Ninani, this allows you to bond with a spirit animal, but like some, some don't even bond with animals. But you can only take it once in your lifetime, and since you are going to be staying here, you may as well have one, I'll ask Tarik when he comes back tomorrow, for now, you should sleep, we have a busy day ahead of us.

Lloyd: Yeah I sure am beat, where do I sleep.

Abeke offered her extra sleeping bag, while Meilin offered him an extra pillow to sleep on.

Lloyd: oh wow thank you, you didn't have to do.

Meilin: Well, why not we are friends right, friends stick together right.

Lloyd looked at Meilin, and the gang and was happy that he made his first group of friends, he even noticed a tear fell, he looked away hoping no one noticed, but like always they noticed but didn't say anything.

Lloyd: Thanks to everyone and goodnight.

All: Goodnight

'a few hours later'.

Lloyd's dream: """WARNING ABUSE''''

Lloyd noticed, he was walking up a long hallway, he didn't know where he was, he looked in the mirror and saw his six-year-old self. "Huh, where am i". All of sudden "Lloyd look at what you did, you broke my a couch didn't you, you little freak, I let you in this house and this is what I get in return for taking you in". Lloyd noticed that voice and turned to face his stepfather, he was tall and most definitely red in the face. Without notice, his stepfather struck him in the jaw, sending Lloyd crashing to the wall. "I'm sorry, stepfather, I didn't mean too, please stop", "you are worth nothing boy, all you deserve is hatred and pain, that's all you are you little freak", 'the stepfather took out his black leather belt with spikes on it, he lifted Lloyd's shirt showing his bare skin, and started to strike Lloyd's back with his belt nine times. "You little freak, you need to be taught a lesson," THWACK, THWACK, THWACK 9 times with the belt". Stepfather gave Lloyd one more hit, and went to his room and left a six-year-old Lloyd on the floor. "Clean this mess up, freak".

END OF DREAM:

Lloyd wakes up suddenly and notices he is crying. 'it was just a dream', he looked at the sleeping figures and thought, 'will they still want to be my friend, if they find out'.

Lloyd stands up and walks up to the big tree and sits leaning into it, and looking out in the night sky. He started crying in his lap, wishing for his life to turn around, every time he slept he sees his stepfather abusing him, or seeing his mother die over and over again. All of sudden, he heard a stick snap, he turned around and found Rollan looking down on him.

Rollan's point of view

Rollan couldn't sleep that night, so he stayed awake looking at the starry night, missing Essix by his side, but they knew not to show Lloyd till morning. He noticed someone getting up, he saw that is was Lloyd, and started to follow him, hoping Lloyd doesn't suspect him. He kept following him until, Lloyd sat down by a tree, and looked out. He looked worried, stressed, his eyes were bloodshot, looked like he was crying. So, Rollan walked closer and accidentally stepped on a stick startling Lloyd, he turned around and looked up at Rollan.

Rollan: Whoops, you caught me.

Lloyd: Were you following me

Rollans: Yes I was, I was seeing where you were going at this time of night, and I saw you sitting here, and by the looks of things, you've been crying.

Lloyd wiped his eyes, and looked away from Rollan, feeling embarrassed, that one of his friends has spotted him crying. Rollan sat down next to Lloyd and looked at him. He softly spoke. "You know its okay to cry right, and don't feel embarrassed. now tell me what's wrong".

Lloyd: Nothing, it's just I... it's just

Rollan: Come on speak up, we don't have all night.

Lloyd: Oh..right... Um yeah, just nightmares are all, it's always the same. I see the same thing all the time, and I just can't unsee it.

Rollan started to feel sorry for Lloyd, cause he looked like a great kid to be friends with, and he seemed like a person who shouldn't go through this mess.

Rollan: Do you want to tell me what happened, maybe I can help you.

Lloyd: I don't know yet, can I first get to know you all better, I just I've never had a friend till today, and yeah I just thought I'd never had a friend. Just happy to be away from my ex-best friend, he messed my life up, its why I am here Rollan had to get away from Earth, its a horrible place.

Rollan: Look, you can tell me when you are comfortable, but make sure you do, it's better to talk about it then keep it in, and don't worry me and the gang will never leave you and betray you, we are not like that.

Lloyd: Thanks Rollan, you guys are all I need. 'Rollan and Lloyd got up, Rollan smiled at Lloyd and led him back to camp.'

Rollan: Now go to bed, I'll be up till the morning, So I'm taking the rest of the night shift, and don't worry I'll wake you up if you have another nightmare.

Lloyd smiled to himself, and laid down, falling asleep very quickly. "Thanks, Rollan, Goodnight". The rest of the night for once he didn't get a nightmare.

What do you think guys, I know its not the best story, but I am trying. Yes my character is Bi, so you can all judge, but guess what I don't care, my story my character.

Guess who comes to Erdas next...It's about to get worst for Lloyd, cause the next chapter is all about Kelvin and Seth or finds the 'Portal Of Erdas'.
