"It's so dreary outside it's like there's hurricane going on," I said.

I walked outside to meet my friend but she wasn't there. I tried calling her but I accidently called my Mom instead. No one picked up. I tried calling my friend and no one answered.

"Maybe a hurricane is going on," I said.

I walked to school anyway with an uneasy feeling.

Walking down an abandoned street, I noticed a purple looking portal farther down the street. I walked up to it noticing it was a lot more detailed than it had looked. White circles were moving around on its surface. There was a slightly breeze that ruffled my hair as if it wanted me to go in. I could see that I could easily go in as it was bigger than me. Looking at the portal, I could see it was oval shaped and it slowly jutted out as it was closer to the middle.

"What is this?" I wondered. Out of curiosity, I put my hand in and I was sucked in. I started to fall down into a space filled with only dark purple.

"This definitely was created from today's technology! I've seen these in magazines! It's called a 3508! Why they named it the current year, I don't know! I would think they wouldn't be placing this at random it being so new!" I yelled," I'm still falling, is this endless? I thought the magazine said you wouldn't be falling for more than 30 seconds, and it has been over 30 seconds!"

All I wanted to do was punch this thing. This was unfair! I tried punching something but I just ended up punching air. Then, I noticed my feet were touching the ground.

I looked around and noticed this place looked similar to Ethopia except for everything had many hints of dark purple in it. The sky was dark purple, the grass was dark purple, and there was no sun even though it was not pitch black here and so far there were no signs of life. I walked around a bit and started to see humans. They didn't have hints of purple in them. As they were coming closer, I noticed they all had red eyes.

"What are they? Are they vampires? Are they robots? Are they aliens? Are they going to kill me?" I said with fear in my voice.

Tears went down my face. They started walking towards me. They were coming closer; I kept on seeing the red eyes. I started to run. A sigh of relief came from me. They were acting like normal humans and didn't have fangs. They weren't vampires or robots or aliens.

I ran even though they were normal humans and ended up running to what looked like my school. The only thing different was the hints of dark purple. I entered it even though I didn't want to be in school at a time like this. From the looks of it, everything was in the same place. I walked around a bit to see. To the right of me was a hallway with a staircase at the end. In front of me was the main office. To the left of me was a hallway without a staircase at the end. I decided to see if my classroom, on the third floor was the same except for the hints of purple.

I went to my class to find people in there. All of them were my classmates. I didn't notice the red eyes and thought I had just been imagining it.

"Hi Izzy," I said.

"Izzy does not register this girl talking to me. The girl's eyes do not match up to someone from this world," said Izzy.

Now I get it! In this world people know others by their eyes! What a good idea! The thing is, there seems to be something different about Izzy. Something that makes her a different person. I just don't know what it is. Just then, my teacher, Mrs. Johnson walked in.

"Everyone sit down," I heard Mrs. Johnson say.

I tried to blend in with the classroom while Mrs. Johnson began the lesson. I tried to at least sleep in my hiding spot. It was too hard to where I was. I was getting really hot hiding there. It was like I was being taken away in a box while in 100 degree weather. Finally, it was lunch time and I ran out of the classroom and noticed my friend Jack.

"Hi Jack," I said forgetting that this person wasn't really Jack.

"Jack does not register you," he said.

I slowly walked aimlessly outside. I'm stuck here and I don't know anyone here! After walking for what seemed like hours, I found myself in front of a building that could very well be a modern day castle. Behind most of the windows, blinds were down making it hard for me to figure out what this place was. It had 3 floors from the looks of it and an over sized door that was probably about 10-15 feet tall. Castle or not, this place looked evil having dark purple bricks. A shiver went down my back. Even with fear, I walked in.

"This place must be some sort of lab but it seems empty," I said to myself.

I started to walk around and heard a sound like footsteps. I looked behind me. There was nothing. I continued to walk around the lab exploring it.

Looking at the wall, I saw a shadow and heard footsteps louder this time.

"It must have just been-,"I was cut off by a dark shadow in front of me.

I turned around and saw a man. Scared, I backed closer to the wall.

"Will you make a contract with me to be recognized in this world?" said the man.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Mr. Smith. Now what is your answer?" Mr. Smith asked.

"No, I will not allow you to do it," I said.

I definitely didn't want to become one of those people with red eyes. All I want is to get back to my own world. I could tell Mr. Smith was the kind of person that would pester me until I said yes to become part of this world. All I wanted to do right now was to punch Mr. Smith in the face.

Then Mr. Smith said," Will you become part of this world?"

I didn't answer.

I was about to punch him when he said," So what is your-."

I ran off into one of the many rooms in this laboratory. I didn't get to finish hearing what Mr. Smith said. I didn't care. I didn't want to hear Mr. Smith ever again.

I looked around the room I had ran into. There was man-made looking crystals everywhere in this room. On a counter top there was a book with crystals on top of it. I brushed the crystals off and picked up the book. It was titled Supernatural Powers Crystals and it showed a picture of one of the same crystals as the ones in the room. I looked through the book finding it interesting. I noticed the book said the man-made crystals only had 10 powers. Then, I heard footsteps. Quickly, I took one of the crystals. Fortunately, the book was small enough to put in my pocket so I put it in there. I held the crystal out in front of me using my right hand stretching my arm out as far as I could. The crystal started to glow. I thought about being invisible. Just then, I became invisible. I walked out of the room and stalked a random lady.

I followed this lady into a room that Mr. Smith was in.

"I am here," said the Lady.

"Good, you're here Lily. Using a copy of "her" DNA, I'm able to make what is very similar to a clone of her. It's a different person with her DNA being almost the same," said Mr. Smith.

"How did you get it?" asked Lily.

"I got it a long time ago not knowing whose it was. I wanted to know whose it was before putting it to use. When I saw her earlier, I knew it had to be hers. It look like she is almost finished," said Mr. Smith.

Behind the glass was a girl whose arms and hands were stretched out. Just then, a bright blood-red looking color shot into the eyes. Of course she would have red eyes instead of blue or green or brown or anything in the middle.

"Her name will be Jane," said Mr. Smith.

The glass disappeared and Jane walked out. The three of them walked away. Using the crystal, I turned back to normal. In the room I saw a paper saying, "We have succeeded in bringing everyone from the world holding the planet Ethopia.

Hey! That's the planet I'm from! It seems like Ethopia is in danger and I may be the only one to save it!

 I noticed it said at the bottom of the paper, "...and find a way to make Mikoto part of this world."

I'm Mikoto!

I noticed this room was some sort of control room. Before messing with anything, I used the crystal to "see back in time." Mr. Smith had used this world to control everyone in the world. Also, it existed because of today's technology. Without today's technology, it would not exist. So Ethopia really was in danger! I saw nothing useful to save Ethopia except one of the computers. In there was a map and I found out which room I needed to go to.

I burst open the door to the room. I ran out to the room I needed to go to and luckily I didn't get caught mainly because of my shoes. They didn't make much sound on the floor of this lab. When I got to the room, I used the crystal to get in. Fortunately  it was empty. I used the crystal to make it impossible to get into the room. There was a computer in the room and I went over to it. It was on and it looked like something that controlled the whole world. I tried typing something in. "Invalid Password" went on the screen. I knew what I had to do! I had to hack into the program to get in. Lucky I knew what I was doing. Long story short, I was bored and learned. Sometimes I wish I hadn't learned but I guess it's good that I did.

After a while of working, I got into the program without typing in the password! "Welcome Black-Red World." Appeared on the screen. Now I don't know what I'm doing... I tried using the crystal to do it but it didn't work. I took out the book to see if there was anything helpful. "I should look at the table of contents," I said," Chapter 1-Introduction...Chapter 2-Getting Started...Chapter 3-What You Can Do With the Crystal... Chapter 4-Stopping Time...Chapter 5- "Seeing" Back in Time...Chapter 6-Teleportation...Chapter 7-Summoning Guns for emergency reasons. Whoa! That one is really random. Chapter 8- Electricity. Ah! That one should be it! What page is it on? Oh, its 98." I flipped to page 98 and I was about to start looking at it when I thought of something. I should stop time! I stopped time and started to read. There was only one thing useful-being able to hack into things. There was one thing-it might not work correctly.

I tried using that electricity power and it worked except for the fact that time became unfrozen and all the papers in the room went everywhere. Just then, a paper fell out of the book. It said," Dear Mr. Smith, I leave you in charge of the world Black-red. Take good care of it. –Mr. Jackbee." So Mr. Smith is in charge of this world... I better get to work. Using the crystal, I easily worked the program with the hacking of the crystal. When I was done, nothing happened.

"Why hasn't anything happened? Was there something I didn't do?"

Just then, the door broke down and I was surrounded. I was taken into a room. What would I do? I can't be a part of this world or I could never get out! I needed to think of a plan. It was no use. They had taken everything from me and none of the plans I had thought of would work. I was trying to remember if the book had anything important. I couldn't think of anything. I still had time to stop Mr. Smith from making me someone from this world. I just had to think of something... Something that I could do while being held back by a guard. Then, I thought of something.

In the book it had said," If one uses the crystal, all the powers from it are permanently in the person even without the crystal. They don't need to hold their hand out when they don't have the crystal, they just have to think which power they want to use and believe that the power of the crystal is real." I broke free from the guard as I had been trying to the whole time. I ran over to Mr. Smith and kicked him as hard as I could.

"Guards! Kill her!" yelled Mr. Smith.

I knew it would be time to use my powers. While the guards weren't looking, I use electricity on the guards knocking them out. There was one guard that I didn't knock out and he somehow killed himself, the other guards, and badly wounded Mr. Smith.

"Guards 3 of my guards are dead..." said Mr. Smith.

"It will not matter once I'm done! You will not be a hero, I will!" I said.

Using my powers, I gave myself a gun.

"What are you going to do with that?" asked Mr. Smith.

"Get myself out of here of course," I said.

I took the gun and started running. Every time I shot a small oval shaped thing shot out destroying all the computers in its path. There was a long hallway full of them. With each shot, there was a very loud small explosion. A sound rang in my ear drums but I didn't care because all I cared about right now was getting out.

Everything started to change. For a brief moment I could hear someone say thanks and I could almost reach them but my hand just didn't reach. Quickly, I found myself back on Ethopia and wondered many things. I wonder if Mr. Smith died, came back to this world like everyone from this world, or if something else happened. I also wondered if that world still exists. I wonder if I saving the world destroyed that world. I don't even know if all of that was just a dream or not.

I'm the only one who remembers that world. I know it is real now because of my powers from the crystal. At first, I was scared and dreaded the place. As time went on, my feelings changed. I became braver. I feel like it's something that has changed me forever. It's something I'll never forget. I still remember every detail months later.

AN: So that was the story. Short, I know. I fixed some of the paragraphs as in the word document there were much less paragraphs. ...and now I know that you are supposed to start a new paragraph when someone speaks (or am I wrong?).
