Bryan's pov
We all came out of the portal.
"Ok, now Joey, could you turn the portal off To make sure they can't follow us.," Jon asked him.
Joey messed with the board, and the portal became black and didn't turn back on.

It took a few hours to explain the entire situation involving the whole time thing.

Most of them had a small break down.
Joey just sat there, staring at his hands.

Since they only have their uniforms as clothing, I decided to take them shopping.

I got the Pearls and took them to a shopping center not far from the park.
I made a list of things I need to get for them.
"Ok, so first we need to go to-" I turned around.
The boys except Joey were gone.

I told Joey to wait for me here.

I walked around the center.
How can I lose four teenagers from the 50s in a shopping center?
"Now, what would a teenage boy want here?" I asked myself.
I looked over and saw a game store. Guess I could start there.

I walked in on.....

Henry and Jason are messing with test game controllers.
The employees looked confused. To them, they probably thought these two never knew what video games are.
"Henry Jason, come on," I said, and they turned to me.
"What's this?" Henry asked.
" It's a video game controller, let's go," I said, and I walked off.

I took them to joey, and he promised to keep an eye on them.
I looked around for Jackson, and I finally found him, Riding a mechanical horse. I know it was him because he had the sweater I gave him when he was cold. It was a little big so his hands we're covered by the sleeves.

After those five minutes, I guess he ran out of quarters because the ride stopped.
"Awww," He pouted as he got off the ride.
"What's wrong?" I asked, my hidden parental instincts kicking in.
"Robot horsey broke." He said, frowning.
"Will some ice cream make it better?" I ask.
"Yes," He murmured.
I grabbed his hand and took him to an ice cream shop.

Meanwhile.
The three pearls standing by a fountain were approached by a woman giving out a survey.
"Excuse me, a moment of your time," She asked Joey.
"What is it?" He asked, confused.
"Well I just want you to answer a few questions" Se asked.
"Of course," Joey said "Ask away"
"Well, it's mostly about the game Fortnite" She said.

"How old are you?" She asked.
"18," Joey said simply.
"and do you know those too?" She asked.
"They are my brothers, Jason is 16, and Henry is 17." He simply said.
The woman walked up to Henry and Jason.
"Excuse me but to either of you know about Fortnite"

"What no! " She yelled in anger,"It's a video game, played on a PlayStation."
"is that a building?" Henry asked.
"Henry don't be ridiculous" Jason scorned his brother.
"Thank you!" She shouted thinking he knew what games were.
"It's obviously a kiosk or maybe a vending machine," Jason said, not sure what it was.
"Ughh what do you kids do in your spare time?!" she yelled having enough.

That woman was kicked out of the center that day.
