𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮-𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙚

The end of the week began to drew closer. The rest of the house was disappearing as the days went by. Soon enough the only things that were left was basic furniture.

A few people came around to look at the house. My mom gave them a tour of all the rooms and the garden. There was two men who was interested in the house, potential buyers. But we wasn't quite sure yet.

And nothing had come up about me moving. I tried not to speak about it, but my things were still packed.

I had my basic change of clothes up stairs. Often having to dive through the suitcase to change my outfit.

"Blaze!" My mom shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

I sighed walking to the top of them from my room as I looked at her. "Uhuh?"

"Come help me with these please dear,"

I sighed, making my way down the stairs. Still being miserable.

She held a box in her arms. A fairly large one that had my name scribbled across it.

"Hey- what are you doing with that stuff?" I asked walking closer to her.

"Help me with the rest of them please,"

"The rest? Where are we taking them?"

"To the car,"

"Who's car?"

Just as my question was asked, there was a knock on the door. My mom looked at me and directed her eyes to the box in her arms to tell me I needed to get the door.

So I walked over to it, messing with the sticky lock before I finally opened it.

"Hey,"

"Billie? What are you doing here?"

He walked straight in, taking the box from my moms hands as she sighed with the relief. "Helping you move," He answered casually.

"What?"

He ignored me, walking back out of the door as I looked over at my mom. "We're going now? We can't move- I haven't even said my goodbyes. No ones bought the house yet- we've not even done packing the house why are we moving yet?"

She laughed as she walked over to me. "Blaze,"

I gave her a questionable look, ignoring Billie as he came in for a second box.

"I wouldn't of wanted you to live by yourself. It's a different type of situation when I still own it and I'll be back. But living alone is scary, and I don't think you can handle that Blaze,"

"But you would still pay for all my bills I could-"

"-Of course I would still pay the bills. But Blaze Joy, I'm not there for you if you need me," She gave me kind eyes, her hands rested still on my shoulders as she spoke.

"So... what's going on? We can't just leave-"

"-That's why we're not,"

"But-"

"-But you are,"

"What? What do you mean I am? What's that suppose to mean? Mom?"

"Mine and David flight is booked to leave for next week. The house will be on the market, meaning that the sales will be all across the phone. I've got it sorted,"

"So why are you moving next week but I'm leaving now?"

"Because you're not coming to Rome, you told me you didn't want to and I would never of made you,"

I was confused more than anything. I didn't even know what my next question would be. But it didn't matter, because Billie spoke up.

"Is anyone helping me with all these boxes? My backs starting to hurt,"

"Sorry dear," My mom apologised, dropping her hands from my shoulders as she grabbed one and left the house.

"Where are all these boxes going?" I asked Billie confused, picking up a median sized box.

He picked another one up, before walking in front and out the house. "The truck,"

"But you don't own a truck?"

As I got to the front garden. I saw Mikes old truck being loaded with my boxes. Mike sat in the front as he saw me, giving me a grin and a wave.

I gave him a wonky smile, passing the box to my mom who placed it into Mike's truck.

After a while more of loading the boxes. Walking in and out my house back and forth. The truck was full, and Billie and Mike made a drive dropping them off somewhere.

Not sure where exactly.

Then once they came back, we placed the last of the boxes in. I didn't have fairly a lot of stuff. So it only took a second trip.

Billie climbed in. As I looked over at my mom. "Am I suppose to get in too?"

"Come see me tomorrow,"

"But where am I gonna be? Will I be able to?"

"Of course you will, I'll be in all day. Walk up and see me,"

I just nodded confusedly. Before I walked back over to Mike's old truck and got in the back.

"What's going on? When does someone plan on telling me what the fuck is happening?" I asked Billie and Mike in front.

"Wave your mom goodbye," Mike said looking back.

I realised my mom had been standing at the door waving, so I gave her a wave back before the truck started.

Finally out of my moms sight, I dropped my waving hand and leaned between the passenger seat and drivers seat between Billie and Mike. "Where's Tre?"

"At Billies,"

"Why isn't he here?"

"With Eden,"

"So why isn't Eden here too?"

"Ask them,"

"Where are we going?"

"My heads going to explode," Billie interrupted, leaning his head in his hands grunting.

"I just wanna know what's going on. I've gone a whole week thinking I was moving to another fucking place to find out I'm not. So where the hell am I going if I'm not living alo- oh no,"

Then I realise.

I was probably about to move in to my grandmas house.

The grandma who my mom didn't even get along with and it was her own mom. I got along with her alright. Her company was fine, but maybe living with her would be a bit too much.

It then added up. I would be living locally to everyone. Meaning I didn't have to say goodbye. They all must've known, because none of them cared.

"What?" Mike asked.

I let out an 'uhg' sound. Slouching into the back seats defeatedly.

The trip wasn't long surprisingly. I felt the car jerk as Mike did his shitty parking.

I sat back up straightening my posture and stretching my arms as they made a satisfying click sound. Mike and Billie immediately jumped out as I stretched my joints. Before I got out too.

"Hey..." I mumble slowly, turning to Billie who had one of my boxes in his hand. "Why are we here?"

"Y'know the smoke room?" Billie asked, smile hiding.

The smoke room in Billies house, was in other words the none used spare room. It had become spare room when Billies and Eden's older sibling moved out. Mostly Billie, Mike and Tre used the room to smoke. It was pretty smart, no one really went in there. And it was a good thing to since the room always smelt of cigarette's and weed.

"What about it?"

"Thats your room now,"

I paused, looking up at him as he grinned hugely. I just stared in disbelief and confusion.

"You're here!" A voice shouted before I felt myself trip up.

I stumbled back with arms wrapped around me excitedly. Finally pushing them off I looking over at Eden. Who smiled at me, she stood jumping up and down in her spot. "You have the smoke room!"

"Why does everyone call it that?" Another voice asked in confusion. I whipped my head around looking away from Eden and at Ollie who grabbed one of my boxes out of Mikes truck.

"No reason!" Billie shouted, who just came back out the house. He must've dropped one of the boxes in whilst Eden nearly rugby tackled me.

I didnt even know what my first words were suppose to be. I was pretty shocked. I looked at Ollie who walked closer to me with a small box, smile on her lips.

"Do I get the smoke room?" I asked slowly.

"It's not the smoke room, its your room," She laughed, before taking the box into the house.

I looked around, Mike was grabbing another box, Eden as staring at me with a grin.

"But- I thought I was going to-"

"-Rome?" She asked. "Billie came home one night telling my mom about the situation. My mom and your mom got to talking. We had a spare room, you was in lack of one. Your mom didnt wanna leave you alone. It was perfect,"

"So... I live here now? With you? And Billie?"

"I mean, c'mon. You technically lived here anyway." She chuckled smacking my shoulder before making it to Mikes truck. She picked up one of the last few boxes there. "Well come on, grab one,"

~

"Hello there," A voice behind me greeted. I turned around, to see Billie leaning on the door frame.

I was sat in the centre of the room, in front of one of the boxes.

Everyone had left me to un pack.

There was already a bed in here, same with draws and shelves. I started off with throwing my clothes lazily in the draws. No different to how they would've been at home home.

"What are you doing?"

"Need a hand?"

"Sure," I shrugged.

He came over, sitting on the other side of the box on the floor across from me. "What's in this one?"

"I don't know... my mom packed all my stuff for me," I shrugged, before re opening the flaps of the box as I searched through.

I moved some things out the way. Taking some things out as I observed them in my hand.

"I think these are just my decorations I use to have in my house,." I shrugged. "My mom bought me this-" I help up a decoration showing him, a vintage small antique pendulum clock. The pendulum had stopped working in it a while ago, freezing on the left side. But the clocks hands still worked. "-She brought it back after her trip at France,"

"France?" He asked, sounding slightly suprised as he took the clock out my hand and looked at it closely.

"Yeah, that was years ago. I was nine or something. It's pretty old and valuable to me I guess,"

"Why didn't you go to France?"

"I stayed home,"

"On your own!?"

"No! No no, with my grandma. She lived with us for a while. My mom payed for her to stay home, so she stayed for free. But paying back was her baby sitting me when my mom wasn't around. She was a pretty grumpy women, so as soon as I was deemed to 'look after myself' my mom didn't hold back in an argument and she left,"

"The swingy thing in it doesn't work," He pointed out, clueless of how I had just been rambling about my grandma as he turned the clock to face me. His finger pointing to the pendulum.

"It's a pendulum," I laughed slightly. "And I know, I can't remember when it stopped working. I've had it for a while,"

He got up, walking over to one of the shelves placing it on it gently. "It's pretty cool," He told me, looking at it on the shelf.

For a while, Billie and I dived through half of the boxes. He wasn't helping much. He just kept asking me questions about all the stuff packed. Playing around with half of them getting distracted.

The room was dark, but we turned the light on at some point. Leaving the curtains open.

It started to get dark Billie and continued to empty as many boxes as I walked could.

"Hey, what's this?" Billie asked from the other side of the room, opening a separate box to me. He turned around, with a note book in his hand as he held it up to me.

I scrambled up quickly, taking it from his hands. "Shit."

"What is it?"

I flicked through the pages. It was just an old sketching book, some of the sketches I thought were pretty bad. And embarrassing.

"Note book, I use to sketch in it though," I mumbled, my head in the A2 sized book.

"Tre left," A voice announced, I took my head away to look over at Eden who strolled into the room. "So I'm here to annoy you guys,"

Billie rolled his eyes.

"He didn't say bye?" I asked her confused. She sat on the bed, shrugging.

"Mike was rushing him, he needed to go home and Tre was getting a lift back with him,"

"Y'know Tre should really learn how to drive himself one of these days," Billie muttered, standing up as he quickly took the book out my hand.

"Billie!"

I tried to grab it back, but he quickly moved. I sighed sitting beside Eden on the bed.

"He's going to Beej," Eden told him, referring to Tre driving.

"I'm just saying," Billie shrugged, turning the page. "I'm sick of driving him everywhere- hey this is sick!" He pointed to the page looking over at me.

I smiled lightly. "They're from a while ago,"

Ollie walked past the room, before walking back and stopping at the door frame. "Eden, what did I tell you?"

"I don't wanna do it- why can't Billie!"

"It's your turn!"

"Do what?" I asked confused.

"The dishes." She mumbled, before angrily getting up and leaving the room. Following Ollie back down the stairs.

Billie and I shrugged, before I walked over snatching the book back.

"Hey I was looking at that!"

"They're shit,"

"I thought they were good,"

"Really?"

He nodded. "Yeah," taking the book back. He flicked through a few pages. Before: "hey! Hey I have an idea!"

He ran out the room with the note book.

"Where are you going!?"

But he didn't respond.

I sighed, going back to the boxes taking a few more things out and even getting distracted myself. Until Billie rushed back in with a pen in his mouth.

I watched him run over to the desk. Place the note book down as he scribbled something down in the back of it.

"What are you doing?"

He turned back around popping the lid back on the pen. Walking over to me as he passed me the pen.

"Why do I have this?"

"Here," He passed me the note book.

I looked at him confused taking the note book. Flipping through the first few papers as he hovered over my shoulder standing up, swaying left to right as he watched. "It's on the last page,"

I nodded. "Got it," Before I flicked to the back of the book.

And in fact, on the last page, his messy writing was found.

'Wanna be my girlfriend? (Not my fake one this time)'

There were three options. Which were 'Yes', 'Sure' and 'Maybe'. Beside boxes.

I couldn't help the childish grin as I turned to him. "Do I tick one?"

He nodded brightly, watching me as I turned back around.

I neatly drew a tick in one of the boxes, before closing the note book and passing it over to him.

"What did you put?" He asked me taking the book confused. "I didn't see,"

"Look then." I laughed, pushing myself off the floor to stand beside him.

He flipped to the back page where the note was. Looking closely. "What the fuck do you mean sure!" He laughed turning to me.

"It's still a yes!"

"Yeah because I didnt give you any other option!"

I chuckled before adding. "Well I could've put maybe!?"

"You could've put yes!"

"I technically did!"

"What the hell are you both shouting at?" Billie and I looked over at Eden who was leaning in the door way.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend," I casually shrugged. Her face became shocked as she stood up from leaning.

"Wait- really?"

"Yeah I did! And she said 'Sure',"

"Isn't that a yes?" She asked.

"Exactly!"

"I thought you was suppose to be doing the dishes! Piss off!" Billie told her, before shoving her out the room and shutting the door.

I shook my head slightly laughing under my breath, before he walked back over slinging an arm around my neck playfully and putting me into a head lock.

"Billie! Get off!"

He ignored me, instead responded with ruffling my hair. Tangling it all up.

"You're messing my hair up you dick!" I shouted, shoving him off as I began to pat my hair down and running my fingers through it.

"I was only playing, I'm glad you said sure and not maybe," He smiled.

I scowled, violently pulling my fingers through a knot. "Don't make me change my mind,"
