"My head..." I mumbled dragging my self up out of Eden's bed, she looked up from her laptop as she sat crossed legged on the floor and laughed at me before chucking something light at my head. "Ow! What was that?"

"Pills, idiot. For your hangover?"

"Oh-" I laughed stupidly picking them up before popping two of them out the packet. "-right, got any water?"

I was about to look up, before I felt something else hit my head. This time it was more heavy.

"Ow! What was that!"

"Water bottle, idiot. For your pills for your hangover?"

"Do you have to throw everything!?"

She shrugged looking back down at her laptop. I sighed drastically as I picked up the bottle of water and unscrewed the lid.

My memory dangerously cut off last night from the point where Coby took us back home. The last thing I remembered was trying to get out of his car with out using the handle, then laughing at my own stupidity instead of getting out. Nothing came back after that. From that point onwards it was all a blur that was fuzzy and mumbled together, I think I may have argued with Billie? When do I not? Not sure what about, I don't know even if I did. But I remember something to do with him last night.

The night didn't end where my memory cut off, so what was I missing?

After taking the tablets Eden and I dragged ourselves down the stairs to say hi to everyone, I needed to ask Billie if we was okay. I had a feeling we must've argued or something, he was angry at me before hand and a drunk me and angry Billie can't of mixed well.

We walked in, Tre immediately tripping up Eden as she squealed.

"Tre! Not fair! I'm ill!"

"And who's fault is that?" He smirked.

"Oh shut up,"

"Awww, don't be moody," he teased as he sat up from sitting into the back of the sofa cushions and leaned over to where Eden was standing, angrily in front of him, as he poked her in the ribs making her swat his arms away. Resisting the urge to laugh.

"Billie..." I finally managed to mumble out, catching his attention as he looked over at me. "Can I- erm- well- can I talk to you?"

He gave me a nervous eye before nodding slowly as he got off the sofa, we walked into the kitchen as he jumped on the side and I nervously began to speak.

"What happened last night when I got back?"

A look of, well almost relief, made its way on to his face. "You don't remember?"

"Not really, I remember walking in and that's kinda it. But I had a feeling we argued... did we argue? Like- are we... are we okay?"

He looked confused, but it wasn't aimed at me and I could tell. He looked down at his hands as he bit his bottom lip looking like we was thinking. Did he remember last night? He wasn't drinking? Was he?

"Erm-" he finally looked up at me barley just clapping his hands together finally making his decision. "Yeah, yeah we was fine. You got in, we watched TV together... you went to bed, that was it really,"

"Really?"

He nodded.

"I would've thought that we would've argued. Me being drunk and you being angry..."

"Nope, no- no we didn't argue. We talked things through, you don't remember?"

"Well... no-"

"-really? You don't? Oh- well- no we talked things out,"

"That surprising,"

"Yep,"

He was quick with his replies. Super quick and super sure that we did sort things out, or so he definitely said we did anyway. The rest of the night was a blur so I took his word for it nodding. Why would he lie about sorting things out anyway? He was the one mad at me? So surely we did sort things out... right?

We walked back into the living room where Tre, Mike and Eden were. Mike and Tre still comftably in their spots on the sofa as Billie sat between them both looking over at Eden and Tres convo.

Eden sat on the floor in front of Tre, they looked like their conversation must've been intresting because they were both surely intrigued.

Billie Joe's P.O.V

I stared over at Eden for a while from the couch, sort of giving her a dead eye as she continued to flirt with Tre.

Was that really why Tre had asked me that question after explaining to him about how I was angry at Blaze?

Tre still looked out of the loop. "Well if it was the other way around... Say one of your best friend wanted to be with your sibling choicefully, wouldn't you be mad?"

Why would I be. Eden has no right being mad, I wouldn't care if it was the other way around.

"No?" I answered confused. "Why?"

"No reason,"

So he was... technically... asking for permission? To like my sister?

How would he ever think I would be okay with that? No matter what, she's my sister. I'll still be angry at my best friend for it.

But hadn't I heard this before? Somewhere else?

"What?"

I finally focused back into reality to realise that not only was I still starting rudely at Eden, but she was staring straight back even ruder.

I released my eyebrows as my scowling facial expression slipped away and I gave her a confused look. "What?"

"You was staring at me- what?"

I sighed before standing up. "Can I talk to you?"

"Why...?"

"Eden, can I talk to you?"

She sighed shoving herself up angrily off the floor as I began to walk out the room and into the kitchen.

The kitchen just seemed to be the meeting room of the house between us all. When anyone wanted to 'talk' it was the kitchen that they headed too. I mean- me, Mike and Tre used it to hang out at night when Eden and Blaze are in their bedroom.

I turned around as she sat swiftly in the stool, her confidence high like she didn't know what she did wrong which- she probably didn't to be honest.

"So? What is it?" She asked bluntly looking over at me.

I leaned back on to the side before talking back. "What is going on between you and Tre?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why are you guys flirting? That's my friend Eden I-"

"-Blaze is mine,"

"Your point?"

"My point is you're literally dating my best friend. Sounds hypocritical to me,"

"That's different!"

"What? Why is it?"

"Because mine and Blazes relationship is all fake!"

"Oh right- please! I've seen the way you always tease Blazes even before this little game!"

"What do you mean tease? I did that in a sisterly way?" I asked her questionably standing straight.

She jumped up off of the stool and pointed at me before shouting. "Ha! You're lying! You told her the day I got Juno she wasn't like a sister to you because that was 'weird'!"

"Alright fine yeah- but the teasing was done in good fun! It was never flirting!"

"I was there Billie I saw the way you looked over at her!"

"This is such bullshit- I'm here to talk about you and Tre not mine and Blazes fake relationship!"

Blazes P.O.V

I laughed at something immature Tre said, over the slight shouting of Eden and Billie.

The kitchen and living room door were shut on their way past, so none of us could actually tell what is was they were screaming. But they both were definitely angry.

"What are they even shouting at?" Mike finally asked, being the first one of us to acknowledge their shouting.

I shrugged my shoulders as Tre did the same. "I d'know,"

"Beats me,"

"Did Eden do something wrong?" Mike continued.

"Pretty sure not?"

"Ooh! Blaze! I forgot to tell you!" Tre blatantly interrupted remembering something that must've been good.

"What? What is it?"

"We're going to a party later!"

"That's the news? That's boring,"

"Which means..... you and Eden get the house to yourself for the majority of the night?"

"Oh!"

Eden and Billie opened the door to the living room, both of them flashing us all a quick smile trying to play off like they wasn't screaming the kitchen down.

"Eden!" I shouted quickly.

"What?"

"We're gonna have the house to ourselves for the majority of the night!"

"Really!?"

"Yes!"

~

"Do we lock the door?" Eden asked looking over at me as she contemplate locking the door with the keys in her left hand.

I thought about it, god knows what time they may be back and with the head ache we both have from our own party last night... we might be passed out when they do.

"Maybe we should leave it unlocked for them," I shrugged.

"What if someone else walks into the house while we sleep?"

"Yeah... good point," I nodded. "But what if Billie can't get in?"

"Good point..."

"So, at the risk or getting the house robbed and us penitential murdered or Billie being cold outside?"

She gave out a laugh before inserting the key into the door and locking it. "Cold Billie comes way before two cold dead bodies if you ask me,"

"Agreed,"

"I'll get the snacks. You get the music on, meet in the living room, deal?"

I nodded. "Deal," Before Eden walked away an turned into the kitchen where I could already here her messing with wrappers and packets of food. I stared down at the key that was left in the door before breathing out and carefully turning it back around unlocking the door before I whispered under my breath. "You owe me one Billie Joe Armstrong,"

"What was that!?"

"What? Oh! I asked what music do you want me to put on!"

"Anything! Oh- but no hip hop!"

"Yep... I know,"

~

Eden was snoring beside me, she didn't take long to fall asleep. The door was still unlocked and Billie still wasn't back. I was scared to fall asleep with the door unlocked which meant I was forced, for my own piece of mind, to wait until the idiot would come back home.

None of my calls were being answered, my texts were going through but not being replied to and my patience was little to none right now. I had no idea when he was planning on wobbling through the door but for his sake and my sore, tired, eyes I was hoping it would be fucking soon.

The TV was playing, but my eyes were on my phone. Or looking up at the clock. I'm not even sure what was on but Eden had put it on shortly before falling asleep so it was probably something I wouldn't of found interesting or understood anyway.

I flinched dropping my phone as I heard the front door open. Then a few foot steps stumbling down the hallway. I froze letting my phone play on the floor. That must be Billie... right?

"Bill?" I nervously asked out loud, staying in the same position next to Eden who was still asleep on the sofa.

There was no answer, but I saw his face pop through the door way with a goody drunken smile as I let out a sigh.

"Hi Billie,"

"You're still up?" He slurred walking in, he picked my phone up off the floor and tossed it to me standing in front of me.

"I was waiting for you,"

"Even though I've been angry at you all week?"

"Even though... yeah,"

"I'm sorry for being angry all week Birdie," He pouted, placing his hands on my shoulders to keep himself steady as I laughed looking up at him.

"You need to go to bed,"

"Help me up the stairs? Cause I'm drunk and unable to walk in a straight line. For my safety?"

Why was he being so weird? When he's drunk he normally makes his own way to bed ignoring everyone. But tonight he walked straight in, begging for me to take him to his room and apologizing straight away for being an ass all week even though he said we sorted things last night.

Regardless, I laughed and nodded. He smiled with a lob sided grin. His hands slipping away from my shoulders and grabbing my hands as he pulled me to my feet.

"Billie!" I stumbled slightly catching my balance so the both of us wouldn't fall. "Carefully,"

I kept his one of his hands held in mine, as we left Eden asleep in the living room. I locked the door on the way up before he slowly and carefully made it up the stairs. Exaggerating greatly how bad is balance was.

Yes, he was drunk. Yes, he was wasted. Yes, he was shit faced. But no, he did not still need to be holding my hand. But he seemed like he wanted to.

We finally got to his room as he kicked the door open and pulled me in, letting go of my hand as he fell back on his bed exhaling a long breath as I stood at the bottom laughing slightly.

"Night Beej." I giggled before turning around and making my way out his room.

"Wait wait wait wait!"

I paused and slowly turned back around. He was sat up looking at me with a face of distress. "Yes?"

"Where are you gonna sleep?"

"I'll steal Edens bed,"

"Stay with me?"

I cocked my head back completely taken back by his question. At first I thought he was joking with me, but I realized he was serious.

"Billie I can't,"

"What!? Why!"

"I don't need to, I can sleep on Edens bed or-"

"-You do need to! I need the extra attention. What if I've had to much to drink and I throw up in my sleep and choke on it and-"

"-Gross,"

"Exactly. So please? For me? So I don't die? Please?"

I didn't want to say no. But I intended on. I wanted to say yes because I wanted to stay the night with drunk Billie, but I needed to say no.

But I just couldn't help it. I couldn't help myself.

"Fine." I quietly mumbled giving in. He held his hand out slightly leaning forward as I took his hand. Before he yanked me into his arms falling on to his bed with him. We laughed in the dark, his bedroom door open so I could just make out his face from the hall way light. A warm yellow light just falling on the end of his facial features so I could see his boyish grin when I pulled away from the sort of hug to see him.

His childish grin shrunk to a warm one. His facial features softened as we sat in silence for a moment just staring. His newly dyed blue hair was a mess, all ruffed up and sticking in different directions. Some strands of hair were going up, some had slight kinks in them, some were frizzy, some curly, some straight. You could really tell, if the dark circles around his eyes wasn't enough, he had had a rough night out.

"Enjoy yourself tonight?" I whispered, not needing to talk loud since he was so close.

"Not much really. In the end I just wanted to come home,"

His voice was still slurring slightly on certain words. But I understood everything he was saying as I nodded. "Mike and Tre?"

"It was Tre's turn to stay sober tonight to give me and Mike a ride home. Surprisingly enough he was sober,"

"Really?"

"Eh, Ish,"

He rambled on about his night a bit longer before he turned the TV on his wall on and we got comfortable. His room had always been so freezing, he keeps his windows open all day to vent out the smell of weed. Although it never truly works quite as well as he thinks.

He laid beside me, just a bit further down as his head rested on my stomach while his eyes kept to the television. He mindlessly chatted about other topics, not even watching the TV as I listened playing with his hair. Attempting to make it less messy, but secretly I knew I may have been accidentally making it more frizzy and messy.

"Then Mike passed me this shot and he told me to try it- he told me it tasted like apple- well it was suppose to. It didn't. It was gross- I still took it though. I didn't wanna waste the shot. Well- I took a few more. Even though I didn't like them- Mike did. Obviously. I mean- he made me try it," He continued still facing the screen on his bedroom wall.

"Uhuh,"

"Then all of a sudden I got dragged in this game of beer pong. I didn't win- but I didn't loose. Well technically I did but- I wasn't last,"

"Are you always this chatty when drunk?"

"I don't even remember the shit I say when I'm drunk, I just know I say too much. So yes- if that answers. Well it should because I'm rambling again- I could've just said yes,"

"I thought so,"

"Why-" He lifted his head up off my stomach as I moved my hands away from his hair, he looked back at me resting his chin on me. "-Am I annoying you?"

"What- No, course not no. I was just- just wondering,"

"Okay, good." He moved back watching TV as it went silent for a few moments.

The volume on the TV was turned down quietly, just barley audible. Before he spoke up again.

"Birdie?"

"Billie,"

"I lied,"

"What do you mean you lied?" I asked him as he stayed still.

"I lied to you last night- I felt it. I just didn't wanna tell you in case you didn't mean it and I- well I don't know- I didn't wanna embarrass myself y'know?""

"Felt what?"

"Oh- you really don't remember?"

"Billie what are you talking about?"

"It doesn't matter," He muttered finally. "It's nothing,"

"But-"

"-No its fine. I got it wrong I'm on about the wrong thing... sorry,"

"Okay...?"
