Poppy was at the park with her father. She went down the slide squealing happily, next she went on the swings and after that she played in the sandbox. After that she played on the seesaw. Poppy giggled happily she loved the park it was so much fun and she always had a good time. At that moment her stomach growled. She turned to where her father was and smiled seeing her was getting their lunch set up. So she headed over to her father.

Peppy smiled, "are you having a good time?" He asked

Poppy nodded happily. "Yes daddy."

Peppy smiled and gave poppy her sandwich.

Poppy thanked her father and began to eat. After she ate she went to the sandbox and as she headed there she saw a young troll on the monkey bars. Poppy decided she wanted to go on the monkey bars.

Peppy had just put everything away when he saw poppy headed for the monkey bars immediately he ran toward his daughter.

Poppy had already climbed the steps and was reaching for the bars.

By time peppy got there poppy was on the 3rd bar. She smiled seeing her dad. Wanting to make him proud she reached for the next bar but her hand slipped and she fell with a soft thump.

Poppy picked herself up and became aware that her knee and the palms of her hands stung. She looked down and saw her knee and the palms of both hands were scraped.

Poppys eyes filled with tears and she began to cry.

Peppy immediatly scooped her up and began to rub her back trying to soothe her.

"Shhh it's ok daddy is here." poppy managed to stop crying although some tears still fell and she sniffled

Quickly he carried poppy to the bench and took a first aid kit from his hair. He took out some antibiotics ointment and applied it to the scrapes then he put on a bandaid on each scraped and kissed poppy's forehead.

Poppys cries by now had turned into sniffles. She looked tearful at her father.

"I'm sorry daddy.." she started to say.

"It's ok poppy. It was your first try on the monkey bars. We can try again next time ok?"

Poppy nodded.

Peppy hugged poppy close to him. " And I'll be there to catch you when you fall. i promise." poppy smiled and closed her eyes hugging her dad.

peppy smiled  "how about we get you some ice cream?"
