hi, so, as you are all probably aware, I promised a few alternate endings to rory's story... these are those endings!

in a world where rory and averman couldn't make the distance work, rory finds herself a little more hesitant to accept the scholarship: even if her dad paid for all of them. a late night phone call with a crying charlie convinces her to do it, though, and, without averman as a buffer, the lines of their relationship blur into something unintelligible. when everything comes to a halt upon her transfer to varsity and charlie stops speaking to her, rory finds herself struggling to move on with her life. and when rick gives her the option to make charlie's life hell and make him see what he's missing out on, she takes him up on his offer, damn the consequences...
